This was such a find!!! It was suggested to us by Dean at the Cryptozoology museum. Every plate was…read moreamazing. Our bar keep was by himself and was tending and cooking on his own but even so everything was cooked perfectly and so very tasty. And for small shareable plates these were good sized. Beers were excellent as well. My husband got the sour pumpkin and I had the wheat ale. Will absolutely come back but learn from us. Order beers and then only a few food items instead of everything at once like we did. Parking is available right in front after 5pm but. Edie that you'll have to find a lot.

I think if you're going for beers, this is a nice place to visit. The beer that made them famous…read morewas a hit at our table. We went for dinner because two people in our party were vegan and this menu had vegan options which we appreciate so much. I don't believe it's her fault as there is no kitchen in this establishment, but the food was bad. Some of it was not fit for consumption, and, to their credit, I was not charged for those items that were inedible. I suspect the food would be great if she had what she needed to do her job, because the menu was really interesting. It's a local place with nice local people and we always try to support those businesses when we visit a town. But you cannot cook meals using one hot plate and an air fryer, or store restaurant grade food in a college refrigerator for extended periods. Go for the beer, but don't eat the food until this team can upgrade to keep everyone safe.

We dropped in for an early dinner on a weeknight at the end of October. The temperature outside…read morewas about 44 degrees. The temperature in the dining room was about the same and despite a large number of customers wearing their coats at the tables, the staff did nothing to remedy the situation. The place was clean and cute, dog-themed and decorated for Halloween, and the menu is basically all burgers, salads and sandwiches. We split a classic naan breadsticks, which turned out to be a naan flatbread pizza that tasted and looked like a crappy frozen pizza from a gas station. We also shared a classic cheeseburger that was pretty good; definitely above average and comparable in taste and size to Smashburger. The men's room was clean, service was okay, and that's about it. Prices were comparable to other places in the area, but given the uncomfortable HVAC, waitress upsell, and lousy, inauthentic naan we won't be going back.

It is a narrow space, but it seemed like a larger one. The food was excellent. I got a gouda burger and ended up taking half of it home. The app filled me up--four nice sized egg rolls stuffed with reuben ingredients. Yummy! The only sticking point I had was the unfriendly service. When I thank a person for every little thing they do, I kind of expect at least a smile. Not happening. Perhaps if I had bought alcohol it would have been friendlier? That kind of is off-putting. Nonetheless, great food.

I really dig Bangor Beer. They're not located in "downtown" Bangor but just a few minutes out near…read morethe big box shopping area. Let me tell you, there is nothing "big box" about this place. It's quirky and fun. Outside is a garden area for nicer weather and I believe they have live music at times as well. Graffiti-style murals including Rick & Morty (can't find my exterior pics anywhere) and other fun stuff. They even had a bouncy house when we were there. And yep, we bounced around like kids. The interior of the brewery is also pretty quirky, chill, and fun. The employees and clientele are super cool & welcoming. They have a decent food menu that includes stuff from Oriental Jade (Asian restaurant that served Chinese and Japanese food). Oriental Jade had been around for decades. If you're a Stephen King fan, you know all about it. Their food is yum. Anyway, Bangor Beer has a lot of other offerings like fish & chips, burgers, typical fare that tastes anything but typical. The drinks: Yes they're a craft brewery and they also offer cocktails and mocktails. I've only had beer (did try the NA beer that had & it was good). Their pours are of the highest caliber. The taproom has 12-13 different beers on draft at any given time. And of course, beers to go (cans). Draft beers in growlers too. Oddball is probably my favorite. It's an oat stout that sits just right on the tastebuds. The 10-12 is a great IPA with just the right amount of hops. Total A+ spot.

Guilty pleasure are the Mac n Cheese bites, and their curry noodles are so very tasty. Always something new to see or taste, 12/10 will continue to do it again.
