    Thai crunch chicken salad

This is the cutest small town lunch counter cafe. It makes for a perfect lunch and shopping outing, because it is on the second floor above a fabulous gift shop and womens clothing store. Add in homemade lemon cupcakes and I was in heaven. They mostly serve soups, salads and sandwiches. Everything comes served on, or with, their homemade wheat bread. If you maintain a gluten free diet, the options are limited to a few salads. They do offer various protein options to add to the salad, which is nice. Save room for dessert - home baked cookies, cupcakes and pie!

A Must-Visit Lunch Spot in McMinnville! Every time I visit McMinnville, this restaurant is at the top of my list--and once again, it did not disappoint! In fact, my friend and I loved it so much that we had lunch here twice during our trip. The corn chowder was absolutely fantastic--so creamy with just the right amount of seasoning. My friend enjoyed the 1/2 Turkey Sandwich, while I devoured the Chicken Cashew Salad, which was fresh and delicious. The broccoli cheddar soup was just okay, but the tomato vegetable soup was a standout, according to my friend. And let's not forget the in-house wheat bread--fresh, flavorful, and the perfect complement to our meal. Our waitress, Andrea, was incredible! I highly recommend asking for her--she was attentive, friendly, and made our experience even better. To finish, we split a lemon cupcake--our only regret was sharing it! It was perfectly moist, and the cream cheese icing was out of this world. Don't miss your chance to enjoy an amazing lunch here. Hours: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

A great little lunch place I would have never discovered without a recommendation. Open a few scant hours mid-day this is a downtown Mcminnville hot spot. You know it's good when the senior citizens and the cops go there. This is located upstairs of a cute gift shop (all the stuff you don't need but secretly want). This place specializes in homemade sandwiches and soups. It appears they do a brisk take-out business from all the bags near the back door. A soup and sandwich is filling and often you have some to take home. Also, do not neglect their dessert menu. They offer many tasty desserts. Ask around for directions in the store we almost ended up in the office section by mistake. Maybe that's just me. I'll be back again.

BLTA with Turkey on fresh house-made bread with a cup of broccoli cheese soup

One of the best lunches I've ever had. It was so filling. The bread is made fresh in-house & is soooo yummy! I had the specialty ice tea... no idea what it was, but it was SO good. Mom had the half veggie sandwich with a cup of broccoli cheese soup & I had the half BLTA with turkey & cup of soup. Amazing. Plus, despite how busy they were, our waitress was super friendly & food came out quickly.

Omg the white bean chili is DELICIOUS! The soups change daily, but they serve this chili on Thursdays -- I would come back for this and their homemade wheat bread alone! Nice selection of sandwiches and salads at affordable prices. Lively atmosphere and friendly staff.

We first tried to drop by on Day 1, but the place was so crowded that we couldn't get a table. We made sure to book a reservation and returned for lunch the next day. The ambience here is amazing, and the service was top-notch. Our server was great and took the time to explain the menu details to us. We ordered a bunch of different items, and everything tasted pretty good. The paella was definitely the absolute highlight of the meal! While I wish the vegetables had been roasted just a bit more, the rice itself was extremely flavorful. The sautéed mushrooms and Brussels sprouts were another massive highlight--they are an absolute must-try from the menu. We loved them so much that we actually placed a repeat order for them during our meal! Overall, we had a fantastic time here. Definitely visit this spot when you are in the city!

There's plenty of tables and a long bar with ample seats. The service has been mostly good. The wine list is ample and the cocktail selection is massive. I haven't had a bad drink here. This most recent time, I ordered the 45 minute paella. I don't mind waiting with a glass of wine or cocktail for something that's a treat like paella. Sadly, when it came out it was disappointing. The seafood was cooked well but a little underseasoned. The rice was very bland. I'd chalk it up to someone having a bad night, but this is the second time I ordered the paella and was disappointed. Sad to say, there are enough better restaurants in Mac that I don't think I'll rush back here on my next trip to the area.

We stopped in on a Friday night on our return from the coast. We arrived 30 minutes before they closed (too close for comfort, but we wanted to try), so I asked the host if they could still seat us. And while they weren't enthusiastic (I know I wouldn't be), we got a table and were promptly and warmly welcomed by our server. Even with only half an hour to close, we didn't feel rushed, and they took the time to explain the menu and offered suggestions. My lobster and I split a small arugula salad (which was indeed plenty!). It was simply dressed and packed full of flavor. I don't know why my basic salads at home don't taste this good. He got the sausage calzone, and I ordered the mushroom pizza. Both of our mains were delish. The sausage in the calzone was fennel forward, which we love. The fried sage atop my mushroom pizza was a delightful addition, and I'm not even a big fan of sage. Hey, people grow and change! The space itself is cozy and inviting. We look forward to returning for an earlier dinner so we can try the cocktails and dessert.
