This place absolutely sucks..... so as a first time guest I ordered the eggs Benedict and it was awful dreadfully awful I couldn't even try to eat anymore of it... I got my server (Sharon) and explained the sauce was extremely sour... she took my plate went to the kitchen and came back with my plate slammed it down in my face and said we don't switch our food out I told her I wasn't eating it she took my plate asked me what I wanted I told her then she came back and said I took the Benedict off the food runner brought me my replaced food that was apparently a big deal, threw it down at me on the table the server comes back and I had to say something bc they are the rudest people I've ever met.... The big boss never came over to correct the issue nor did he come apologize for anything I will NEVER go back there EVER AGAIN.. worst service and I've been in the serving industry myself 22 years.. I was appalled by this place... if they had zero stars I'd of hit that one... read more

Really a great place! I got the veggie omelet. My friend got the scrambler, and my sister got the French toast with an egg and bacon. All of it was so good. Coffee is better than your average diner. Just a really nice atmosphere! read more

Good wait staff, food arrived quickly. I will definitely go back. The house made corned beef hash was very good thought not as I expected. My friend ordered the country fried steak fritter and enjoyed it. The restaurant was very clean. Tables were nicely spread out for social distancing. read more

We just left #scrambler-house and we are stuffed!! My niece and nephew in-law each ordered country fried steak and potatoes, my husband had pork chops, applesauce and mashed potatoes and I had a full stack of pancakes. Jamie was our waitress and she had our drinks out immediately and our food was served 10 minutes after we placed our order. Jamie was super friendly and has a great sense of humor! First time and it was terrific. Service great. I had the liver and onions which you can't find on a menu very often. Plus getting it right. They hit the mark. Green beans delicious and the mashed potatoes were some of the best I've had. Tasted just like home. Husband had breakfast which was basic but good. The only thing we didn't like was the biscuits. Very odd taste and texture. Need to find a different recipe. But we'll be back. read more

Half hour wait on a sunny Sunday morning, but well worth it. Omelette sand pancakes were fantastic.

Ordered breakfast togo which is usually a roll of the dice with most places. The Scrambler House nailed it. Everything was delicious and the service I received going and picking it up was amazing. Cant wait to go back for more. read more

Food was excellent. They seem understaffed, though. We walked in to empty tables and being told it will be a 15 minute wait to be seated and expect at least 25 minutes for food. No big deal. However when it takes another 15 minutes after being seated for the server to take our order, the wait for an omelette and a couple sandwiches is way too long. Get the staffing right and this will become my go to weekend breakfast place. read more

Food wasn't bad, but wasn't anything special either. I got a standard three-eggs and bacon with toast and home fries. Wait was longer than I would have liked. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated, but once our order was taken, we had to wait about 30 more minutes. I don't know if they were short-staffed or what the issue was. It was nice of the staff to let us know of the kitchen delay when we ordered. We may go back again in the future, but for me it was nothing out of the ordinary for breakfast. read more

It was our time eating here and we were very happy. We are big on breakfast and we were very pleased . The atmosphere was good our waitress Debbie was friendly and her humor was appreciated. Tim the owner bought our food out and I had the ultimate omelet which was cooked perfectly and the whole plate was served with added detail, wife had the holiday special French toast with eggnog cream topping. Starting out - kind of difficult place to find. Realized they just had a name change apparently so signage is not yet up. It kind of looks a little run down - don't let that fool you. It's in a strip mall. Just go in. Inside is a hodgepodge decor but it's quaint. The food was great! I love that they told us where the meats were sourced. I do appreciate that. The bacon was delicious from Daily's Premium Meats! There are a couple things I would suggest to the owners. It's difficult to tell who works here, as there is no uniformity in dress or at least color of clothing. Also, the seat yourself policy makes it difficult for people. I saw several families struggle and look confused to find a seat. read more

This is a great little diner spot. Breakfast has all the basic items with a couple unique twists. Friendly staff and the prices are reasonable. The home fries are not deep fried potato squares like a lot of places but real potatoes cut a fried up on the griddle, and they are awesome. read more

I have dined at the scrambler house for breakfast a few times now, overall it's a great place. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the service is a bit slow and I have had to remind them that I've asked for something but the staff is very friendly. The prices are very fair and the food tastes great. Each time I've ordered a Denver omelette, grits, and a side of bacon, and so far it hasn't disappointed me. read more

The food is OK, but the owner / manager is a complete asshole to his employees. I was here on a Sunday morning a couple weeks ago and witnessed the most bizarre interaction between the owner and one of the waitresses. She apparently messed up an order and this guy came out screaming and cussing at this poor girl right in front of everyone! Getting right up in her face! CLASSY!! He's lucky this wasn't my daughter! This guy would've ended up in a fryer! Felt so bad for her as she walked out. Good for her though. Life's too short to put up with that kind of shit. Needless to say, I'll never be back! Finally, a restaurant where everything is made fresh and not from frozen bags or cans. I always test a restaurant's breakfast by their biscuits and gravy and their scrambled eggs. The biscuits and gravy were good but I don't understand why cooks can't get scrambled eggs correct. The less you mess with them, the fluffier they will be. You shouldn't have to do much to the eggs to make good, scrambled eggs. The sausage patties and bacon were good as well. Work on the eggs you guys. read more

Food was fine but nothing special. Came early on a Saturday and it wasn't very busy but service was still very slow despite having 3 servers in there. Our waitress seemed annoyed that we were there and the attitude and experience just went from there. I had the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and bacon. Scrambled eggs didn't taste like fresh eggs and looked like they came out of a carton. Biscuits were fine but the gravy had no real taste, just blah. The Scrambler House is my go to breakfast joint in my neighborhood. They have the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had at a restaurant. The bacon tastes and looks like it came straight from the farm. The home fries are very good as well. The Double Up is my go to meal. read more

I went on Sunday morning, 7/14 it wasn't busy. The hostess was very friendly, she brought us our drinks, the waitress just took our order and a guy from the kitchen brought our food out. The hostess refilled our drinks and brought us extra silverware, our waitress did nothing for our table after taking our order other than to bring us the check ! I gave the hostess a separate tip of the waitress she deserved more of it. The food was good. My complaint is, i just felt our waitress was annoyed because she had to wait on our table. read more
