    The card we found.
    Cheryl H.

It was like a gift from above, literally! We had just finished updating the house and the only thing left were the missing screens which the last tenants had destroyed. That's when my husband found this card on the driveway. I called, Hector was so easy to work with! The house was vacant and he was able to give me a bid by inspecting the exterior. He quoted me a very reasonable price, did the work and repaired 2 extra screens. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hector and the screen fixer.

Screen sliders and flanking windows are all new now!!! Bugless zone

I very much regret choosing The Window Factory for my relatively-simple window changeout…read more The Window Factory (TWF) finally completed work for a 12-week contract signed Jan 17 on Oct 29 -- 40+ weeks, 34 of which were due to TWF's mistakes that they "take full responsibility for". Eyal's false claim in his response to this review that "we fixed it" is based on TWF's claim that the discount provided at the time of contract signing to induce me to sign means they can take any amount of time to complete the job. Therefore, completing the 12-week job after 40 weeks while providing zero compensation for the delay is "fixing it". Presumably TWF believes they are entitled to take any amount of time to complete your work if they give you a discount as well, even if they "take full responsibility" for the delay. Communication with TWF was abysmal, including (but very much not limited to) 4 ignored emails and 2 ignored phone calls leading up to my original review. Eyal finally responded only after I posted my review and offered me $250 if I would remove that review, though TWF offered nothing in compensation for being 34 weeks late if I would not remove the review. I suspect that may be a good indication of TWF's priorities. James (sales person) was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and that demeanor in the sales meeting was a substantial deciding factor in choosing TWF over a competitor with an offer very similar to the discounted offer I was provided by TWF. He continued being helpful up until recently, addressing communications and operations roadblocks surely outside the main responsibilities of a sales role. Unfortunately, James does not manufacture nor install the windows (of course), and I found those aspects of TWF to be unacceptable. Remember that your full experience with TWF will not be solely with James.

James, their salesman, came to my house and walked me through the process and my choices for window and sliding glass door replacements. James even met me at the warehouse to look at samples. I was replacing "French style" sliders and a window with a more open concept "prairie design." The windows looked remarkably high quality. And James was very professional, detailed, and gave good explanations of the process and timeframe. A sales rep. from another window company came out to give me a competing bid and he fell short of James' caliber. Later Francisco came out to do a detailed measurement, and he was the lead man in charge of the installation. He was friendly, informative, punctual, and answered all our questions. At the arranged time, Francisco's team came out, each with their area of expertise. We watched the process which took about ¾ of a day from start to finish. They took out our old doors/window and installed the new ones. Then the detail guy did a fantastic job of professionally finishing each door and window, so they are very aesthetically pleasing. Then the crew cleaned up the area well before leaving. All of them were genuinely nice and respectful of our property. The windows and doors look wonderful. They open and close freely. The kitchen window slides both ways. And my home looks more open and modern. It's like the backyard is part of our home now. I definitely recommend the Window Factory. The renovations made a huge difference in my home and were a very good investment.

(This review includes a response to the business owner's reply)…read more I had a deeply disappointing experience with Paul's Windows, and I want to share it so that other homeowners know what to expect before working with this company. I reached out for a small bedroom window replacement and had one key requirement: that the new window, once installed, provide a minimum clear opening height of 13 inches. The sales associate, Art, confirmed via text that the manufacturer (Crystal Pacific) said it would: 13.1875", in fact. That was fine by me. But when I asked for that specification to be confirmed in the contract, in writing, Art refused. Let me be clear: I wasn't asking for a personal warranty on the product. I simply wanted confirmation that the installed window, as ordered and managed by Paul's Windows, would meet the functional requirement I had clearly communicated. Art repeatedly deflected, referring to "what the manufacturer said," but was unwilling to take responsibility for the result. When I asked for accountability, he became dismissive and eventually walked away from the job. I contacted Paul directly, hoping for a more professional response. Instead, I received a generic brush-off and a claim that the window wouldn't meet the specs, which contradicts what their own sales associate had already confirmed. Worse, Paul didn't acknowledge or engage with any of the valid concerns I raised around basic customer service, transparency, or professional responsibility. Ultimately, I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was hiring a company to manage a job and deliver a specific result. If something went wrong, say, the manufacturer provided a window that didn't meet the spec, it would be on the contractor to resolve it, not on me to go chase down the supplier. That's what any responsible company would do. But Paul's Windows made it clear they don't see it that way. If you're okay with vague communication, contractors who won't stand behind their own work, and potentially being left to deal with problems on your own, maybe this company is fine. But if you want clarity, professionalism, and accountability in writing, then look elsewhere. § Paul's response below is a classic damage control move -- polite on the surface, but full of deflection and quiet rewriting of events. To clarify: the window in question would have met the required 13" clear opening. That wasn't in dispute. Art, their sales associate, confirmed that in writing and was fully prepared to proceed with the job -- until I asked for a simple written accountability. That's the moment everything fell apart. Paul's follow-up misrepresents the timeline and sidesteps the core issue -- not whether the window would fit, but whether the company was willing to stand behind the result they were being paid to deliver.

After signing the contract the windows were ordered and arrived in about 3 weeks. The installation team worked quickly and Art was there to see it complete. Retrofitted the windows to fit in my existing frames to avoid having to work on the wall. Added the grids to match the style of the old windows since I have a condo and HOA would probably have an issue if not everyone's windows matched since it's a shared building.
