This place has been around forever. It used to be called the ship and shore, not sure when the name changed. You can get here by Boat along the Tonawanda Creek, which runs off the Erie canal, but this time we came by car. It is right near the new road bridge in Pendleton, New York. They have live music on the patio outside, which starts at 8:00 PM. Very family friendly establishment. The kids can run around and play games that they have set up for anyone's use. There is a pool table, a video game, darts, etc. The food is adequate. The service is slow because this place is understaffed. I think the profit center here is actually the bar which is quite large and gets very busy. There were three bartenders and the entire rest of the restaurant seemed to be serviced by a single waitress who did the best she could to keep up. Very few places have fried clams anymore, and the ship bar and grill is one of them. Unfortunately, they came out burnt this time. We really like this place and enjoy looking over the river while we eat or sitting outside listening to music. If your goal is to have great cuisine, go somewhere else. If you are looking to have a relaxed time, and you are not in a hurry, you can come and enjoy yourself at this restaurant.

We sat outside on the deck. We're looking in the water and saw some boats go by. Oirserver was very pleasant and efficient. My husband enjoyed the fish fry and I had a veggie wrap. Both were very good. Sad to see how bad the prices are getting everywhere though hard to go out continuously and support these places, but I do recommend you give this place a try as they are very popular.

The Ship is a nicely renovated, clean bar & restaurant. If you're looking for a fairly quiet place to dine though (at least around 5pm on a Thursday), this is not your place because the bar & dining area are open concept. The server was friendly & timely. We ordered spinach artichoke dip to start and a black & blue burger and blackened chicken salad for entrees. The dip was out lickety split and the food came out at a reasonable time after the app. The burger was good, but a little underdone from what was requested. The salad i thought would have been a little more voluptuous with the greens for the price, but it was good... No iceberg lettuce! :) The chicken was seasoned & well cooked, but I wouldn't describe it as blackened (see photo and decide for yourself). The bathroom was clean. All in all we had a good experience at The Ship and would visit again!

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon to listen to live music by 12 Pack Jack. Our server was Alyssa, and she was wonderful. The restaurant was recently updated and was very modern and clean. They had some interesting local beer on tap and a one page menu of mostly bar food. We had wings and a burger, and both were good. The burger was large, juicy, and delicious. The bun was very fresh. The house made chips were crispy and warm. We wished the wings had been spicier. The table had really great condiments available, and all were clean and full. The ladies bathroom was very clean, well stocked, and nicely appointed. There are several seating options to choose from: dining room, bar room, outdoor patio, window seating with a view of the water, and fireside. We will definitely be coming back.

This review is also posted on the Yelp page for "ship N Shore" from about 1 year ago, 2022. Server Abby C. Very friendly, attentive, great service! Fried green tomato 9/10. First time trying one. Doesn't really taste like tomato, mostly breading and whatever the sauce they put in it is. I liked the goat cheese on too cause it added a contrasting texture with the breading. And micro greens added some more flavor too. Pretty good! I'd get this again! Tacos ($3 Tuesday Special) -Chicken 8/10. Chicken was pulled, very soft. Good flavor of meat. Needs something wet on it like a slaw or a sauce to balance. -Breaded cod 9/10. Was like a beer batter. Really good. The cod was so tiny though (pictured) and I think that's my only complaint about this one! I liked the pineapple mixed in the coleslaw. I think the chipotle mayo on it was good, it wasn't spicy! I wish it was on the chicken taco too. -Pulled pork 9/10 (receipt said brisket, so I don't actually know what the meat was) the sweet and spicy sauce and little bit of coleslaw combo was Fantastic flavor together. Black and Blue Burger 8/10. Ordered Med rare, was not pink inside (photo posted). Little bit salty. The secret sauce was really good! would absolutely love to come here for these tacos again, I can't stop thinking about them, they were so good!

Nice, relaxing vibe inside and out with good service and food. A separate gravel parking lot is across the street. Roast beef was tender and moist and the chicken wings were very good (but pricey).

The grill cheese smash burger - the cheese wasn't even melted.

If you are just going for drinks - definately a cool place. If you are going for food, hate to say it but this wouldn't be a place I would recommend. The specials on their website aren't accurate. They were out of most of the food we ordered and what we had was not worth going out to eat. Hate to leave a bad review but. It was what it was - cool place for a drink but wouldn't eat here again.

Maybe this place would be good if you were drunk and didn't mind overpriced mediocre food served next to a muddy river.

Eggplant Caprese 9/10 Very crispy eggplant breading. The eggplant itself was cooked good. There was also more eggplant than there was Mozz and tomato- so I would suggest adding another couple slices to balance out every bite. I'd add a touch more balsamic too. Bison sliders 8/10 Meat was good, the slider burgers were pretty thick and juicy. I would recommend since they were so think maybe cooking them a minute less for a more medium cook. I liked the goat cheese paired with the meat but you really couldn't taste it, i wish there was more. I'm not sure if it was the onion jam or the blueberry BBQ but something was a little spicy. Bbq pork belly tacos 7/10 The pork was cooked great, and the bbq was a good flavor. I liked the idea behind the double shell (one hard, one corn tortilla), but I think it would have worked better if it was a flour tortilla because both shells ended up breaking and I needed to use a fork to eat it. Between the hard shell and the sweet potato crisps, there was too much crunch for me. I did like the pairing of the pineapple with the BBQ sauce.

He once told me that the only thing worse than cheap wine is Buffalo in the winter and of course, here we are.. We searched Yelp and Share Kitchen had great reviews so we thought we'd give it a try. Our server was Hannah and she is absolutely a 5 stars gem! Super nice and down to earth. We ordered several dishes: 1) Eggplant Caprese: deep fried eggplant, tomato, basil chiffonade, and balsamic drizzle. The eggplant is breaded and spiced nicely. It was served hot. There are 2 and it was good 2) Roasted Artichoke: it was really the heart with the stem, breaded, served with a very small amount of arugula, lots of shaved parmesan and a lemon wedge. This was very good- wish there was a bit more arugula. My bad for not ordering a salad 3) Bison Sliders: the blueberry BBQ sauce intrigued me. There are 3 and it is served medium, or maybe medium rare. The grilled onions were yummy on there! 4) Jackruit Tacos: these were on the paper menu with their specials. What is smart is the taco shell is fried and they serve it inside a regular tortilla. Both corn. Yummy with the pickled onion. 5) chocolate ganache cake: GF and surprisingly dense and yummy. Served with a dollop of strawberry jam and some whipped cream. Yummy! I didn't take a photo of it as we just dove in! We are bummed that they are booked tomorrow night! It's a great place to take a date and there are tables for 4 or you can eat at the bar as well. All around great ambience, our server is awesome and the food ono!! We talked to the host while waiting for our Uber and he is also born & raised in Buffalo- everyone we've met from Buffalo is so nice, including our neighbor who we will deeply miss. Please try Share Kitchen & Bar. You will not be disappointed!

First of all let me say this place is decorated beautifully. It looks like something concocted from a sweet daydream of a book lover. There are all kind of books and stained glass details which are beautiful. It also happens to have some pretty tasty cocktails which is a plus. Their menu is not updated on any of their pages so I can't remember what I ordered. It was a cocktail that mixed crisp, dry white wine, some kind of spirit and club soda. It was refreshing, interesting and light yet had just enough flavor to make it unique. The service was good. There were 2 bartenders that night who were helpful, attentive and friendly. There are a few tables with umbrellas outdoors in the front. A bar and some tables on the first floor inside and a metal spiral staircase which has a few small tables on the 2nd floor. Def not a great place for groups. Try and come at an odd time to get a seat.

I simply want to keep it all to myself...but as an Elite Yelper, I feel an inordinate moral calling to share this great, super fun, place! It is a tiny, tiny place (hence, the first part of its name.) Maximum capacity of about 35 people. It has an outside volleyball court and a great outside deck on which you can enjoy a cool upscale beverage, or a Coors Light....literally it is that kind of place, something for everyone!!!! On a beautiful day, what a place to spend the afternoon for some fabulous burgers and the libation of your absolute choice! Now for the GREAT stuff. Amazing burgers. Like Amazing. Juicy, flavorful. Yum. Cozy tables and high tops with stools and a decent sized bar inside, then the nice deck, outside. The locals clearly know about this place and they have kept it a DEEP SECRET. I understand. It is a prize and if I were them, I would do the same. We heard about this cubbyhole, randomly, through rumor. Then we found it on Facebook. Our car driving group made arrangements to have a happy hour on a beautiful, sunny, fall Saturday following a rally style drive around WNY. The owner, Jennifer, was wonderfully accommodating when contacted in advance, agreeing to prepare a happy hour offering for us from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon, with special burger sliders and fry baskets for our drivers as appetizers, as we finished our rally style drive and rolled into Stafford New York in waves. We took over the Tiny Piney for a two hour period. Total fun. Steph, the master mixologist who totally dominates the Tiny Piney's unique bar, developed two specialty cocktails for our group. One was called the Pink Cadillac Margarita, and the other was called the Road Trip Cold Brew. Both. Were. Incredible. My driving group, The Western New York Drivers, are a great group of folks who love cars--from the very high end supercars and exotics to classics to muscle cars. Our drivers who are of all walks of life, were all so impressed with the incredible hospitality offered by The Tiny Piney, and their warm and welcoming group of local patrons. It is not every day that millions of dollars worth of cars driven by strangers, roll into a tiny bar in upstate Western New York, but the Tiny Piney handled it in total stride and arranged in advance for great parking on the lawn of the neighboring car business for our cars. Just perfect. My husband and I live 50 minutes from this hidden gem, and mark my words, we will be back before driving season's end, with or without our larger ensemble....as soon as possible! Thank you Steph and Jennifer for a warm welcoming Tiny Piney hug!
