    Under cooked steak tips

The worst place ever for food if you want to go get hammered in a loud place. This is for you. Seems like a great place for locals to gather and chug beer

Live Music - Confounded Bridge (Zeppelin tribute) - They were fantastic!

We picked this place for an after dinner drink. Found out once we arrived that they had live music on Saturday night, the band called Confounded Bridge (Zeppelin tribute) was very good! The drinks were very affordable. The band played at the perfect volume for a smaller venue. Cool joint!

Edit: They started slacking on my favorite meal that I get every time and instead of being kind and fixing their mistake they give a huge attitude. I understand it's annoying when things are sent back however I order the same thing all the time and come in all the time. It's not a hard order. Lose the attitude or lose the business. I love this place. The food and drinks are extremely affordable. They offer multiple large TVs and fresh food. This is a "local" hang out but don't let that steer you away. There is lucid, trivia, musical bingo offers throughout the week. All the bartenders are friendly and helpful. My mother and I really enjoy coming here for a quick snack and drink (we live in town). Definitely try the Wings and potato skins!

    Ceasar salad tasted reeeeally weird

Black and blue burger was on point. Came in for a quick dinner on Christmas Eve Eve and got speedy service. Looked like there was only one stressed waitress for the whole place, but she was friendly, our food was hot, order wasn't messed up and the drink was good. Luncheon fish and chips looked small, but exactly the perfect dinner size. My black and blue burger was phenomenal. Highly, highly recommend! The only downside was the Caesar salad we had as a starter, really weird tasting and don't really like it Will be coming back for more.

Live bands on the weekends, 5 flat screen TVs around to watch games, good menu selection and a very yummy Bloody Mary

Mr Z's Pizza - Italian Sub

Clinton is absolutely drowning in places to get a decent sub--sorry, a decent grinder--so honestly,…read moreyou'd have to go out of your way to find something that sucks. Mr. Z's Pizza doesn't just avoid sucking; it clears the bar with room to spare. Yes, it's a pizza place first, but today we're talking sandwiches and pasta, because this shop handles both like they've got something to prove. I went with a pastrami grinder: onions, toasted, mustard, Swiss. This thing came out packed. Flavor on point, execution flawless. The bread had that perfect New England balance--crusty enough to give you a little resistance, not so crusty that you feel like you're gnawing through drywall. They offer two bread options: house-made or frozen/reheated. I went with the latter because the house-made sizes are basically "medium-ish" and "food challenge." The large one could feed two people comfortably, three if they're lightweights. I wanted a clean 8‑inch sub, so premade it was. My wife ordered the ziti and meatballs, and you need to understand something: Mr. Z's is known for its baked pasta. There's a layer of cheese on top thick enough to make all of France weep into its fancy little coffees. Underneath that molten blanket is perfectly cooked ziti and genuinely delicious homemade meatballs. It's the kind of dish that hits you right in the comfort-food cortex. I also know from experience that their Italian sub is dialed in, and the pizza? Fantastic. New England pizza parlors occupy a sacred space that chains simply cannot touch, and Mr. Z's fits right into that tradition. This is the kind of shop where you come for the food and stay for the food because everything they make is just... good. Between Mr. Z's and P&S, Clinton honestly doesn't need another pizza joint or sub shop. And I haven't even gotten to TC Landau's yet.

The atmosphere is quiet but also bright and enlivening, aiding in productivity without being overly distracting. I love the setup of the cafe with comfy couches and chairs for lounging sprinkled among typical tables and benches for working or having a meal! Also, they have a free chess board for playing with friends over coffee which really speaks to the relaxed communal vibe of the place. Overall, I loved the energy, but I didn't expect to also love the matcha as much as I did. Being that it's not something they're known for and the drink was on the cheaper side compared to other matchas, it was actually incredibly smooth and creamy (just pretty sweet so be prepared). Only other negative I could mention is that service wasn't overly friendly, but otherwise, it wasn't terrible either- it was quick and helpful, so I definitely enjoyed my stop here and look forward to returning to try their other menu items!

I tried their Bee Sting latte--while I wish it had a stronger honey flavor to match the name, it was still enjoyable. What really stole the show, though, was the raspberry cheesecake--rich, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. Absolutely delicious. The baristas were super friendly and helpful, especially when it came to picking something off the menu. Whether you're in for a quick pick-me-up or a slow afternoon, this place is worth a stop.
