We have had the short rib before with brunch, so knew what to expect but this surpassed it. We had the same waitress as the last visit, Bonnie. She was pleasant and attentive just as before. There are flatscreen TVs and Keno here. After one of my followers posted pictures of some of the food from Meetinghouse Bar & Grill on social media, I decided to stop by here for dinner recently. I entered through the back stairway and headed to the bar area. Upon request, a staff member seated me at a table in the spacious dining area. The food menu offers a selection of appetizers, salads, chowder, sandwiches, pasta dishes, fried rice, steaks, chicken, seafood, and desserts. The bar offers 14 draft beers, beer cans/bottles, wine, martinis, & cocktails. The pricing is moderate here. A server stopped by with a glass of still water and I placed my order for a starter and entree. For a starter, the Calamari ($14 plus tax) had a good amount of breaded fried calamari rings & tentacles and breaded hot pepper slices over lettuce garnish, and 3 dipping sauces provided (marinara, remoulade, tartar). The calamari was crispy & crunchy outside, not too greasy. For an entree, the Mama's Lasagna ($22 plus tax) had layers of noodles, cheeses, pork & pulled chicken and plenty of creamy pink sauce on the plate. I was unable to finish this and got a to go box. The check was presented which came out to $38.25 with tax and before tip. The food I received was pretty good, As for the service, my server was diligent at making sure I receive the best possible food coming out of the kitchen. While the Calamari appetizer was served promptly, the Mama's Lasagna took a while because I was told the kitchen actually burned the lasagna and the server was not comfortable serving that. I received my actual lasagna plate within 35 minutes after ordering, which came out nicely. I would come back here again for dinner, if I'm in the area.

The pricing here is moderate. The bar offers 10 draft beers, beer bottles/cans, wine list, sangria, spirits, and cocktails. I stopped by Oak & Orchard for a late lunch over the weekend. Since it was a sunny clear day outside, the outside patio was open with partial shade covering and moderately busy. I requested to be seated out on the patio and and I was able to relax out in the sun and given lunch & drink menus. The server arrived promptly after being seated. I got an ice water and ordered the Chips & Dip ($8 plus tax), Chili ($10 plus tax), and Mac & Cheese ($12 plus tax). The Chips & Dip came out first, which had homemade hot crispy seasoned salted potato chips with a dense creamy French onion dip & chives. Next, the crock of Chili with tri-color tortilla chips and the Mac & Cheese arrived. The chili served very hot had a soupy consistency with seasoned beef, cumin, beans, tomato, melted cheese, sour cream, red onions. The tortilla chips were a nice & crispy. The mac & cheese was creamy and saucy mixed with al dente cavatappi pasta, topped with parsley. I requested a box for some of the mac & cheese, so I could get dessert. For dessert, the Orchard Crisp ($8 plus tax) was served hot, which had apples & pears, cinnamon oats, vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle, topped with fresh apple slices. After I was done, the check was presented which was $40.66 with tax and before tip. Overall, the food tasted pretty good for the most part. The potato chips were on the saltier side and the chili and mac & cheese had soupy consistencies, though I prefer thick chili and denser sauce pasta dishes. The Orchard Crisp was excellent. The service was adequate as my food was served in good time. I would come back here for dinner.

My husband got the pasta with chicken and broccoli and although it looked amazing it was really really oily and tasted like they just poured olive oil in it, he always finishes his meals and helps me with mine too. This was the first time my husband didn't eat his whole meal. We'll come again, but we'll definitely stick with our usual favorites next time.

The service is overall fast. You can see your food being cooked in the bar area. I never mind coming here for a quick bite with good company for a quick drink and meal. But it's always a quick stop.
