Well I always have to try bbq when in available. Sorry but this was not up to my liking. Got the hot link sausage "loaded". With mustard sauce and slaw. Big mistake. Get it plain. The sausage was well smoked and jalapeño flavored. Just over done. The greens were bland and oily. The chicken sandwich with buffalo sauce was very dry. The Mac n cheese was not baked but boiled noodles and the kids loved it. Prob the best thing we had. Thats too bad because I really wanted to like this place. Just my opinion and everyone has different tastes so take it with a grain of salt.

Order was taken right away. Cashier was very friendly and attentive. Great tasting pulled chicken and pork sandwiches. As well as the brisket fries. The collard greens were very disappointing. They needed more flavor and so did the mac & cheese. Mac & cheese looked like a cheese sauce was just poured over the pasta and mixed. Order is taken at the counter and you pick up your order when you are notified. No ketchup was made available for fries, sadly. Canned sodas, beer and glass beverages available for purchase. Very loud indoors... Waited for about 15 minutes for our food. Outdoor seating available. Also a variety of music playing outside. First time eating here and not sure if I would come back here.

The food here is really good. The brisket melts in your mouth. The pulled pork is really good. The ribs are tender. The chicken is good for bbq but I don't usually eat chicken at bbq. The collard greens are yummy. So is the Mac and cheese. The potato salad is ok. The fries are good too, especially with the cheese sauce. Oh ya the cubano sandwich is pretty amazing too. The staff is kind and friendly as well. Would recommend.

The owner is very friendly and easy to like. The customer service is wonderful and the wait time is minimal. The ambiance is fantastic as it reminds me of a southern blues and bbq joint (without the live music and the Smokey air). As far a as the food goes, for my first time I tried the brisket burger, cornbread with hot butter, and the collards. The cornbread was soft and fluffy, sweet and savory, but the hot melted butter made it that much better. The collards were absolutely perfect! The right combination of Smokey, fatty, and earthy. The brisket burger left a bit to be desired. I sampled the brisket before ordering and it was perfect! The brisket burger lacked flavor,l and was a bit greasy. The melted cheese was a bit much as it over powered the burger. The bun was perfectly toasted.

Nice location and nice shopping center around if you want to look around with shops, coffee and other goodies. Nice little place to walk around. This place is located inside with 4 more food vendors to choose from which is great, seating is spacious and they have a great bar selection as well in the corner of the building. The food was incredible the brisket is a must and the Mac and cheese def. This place will not disappoint. Def going back to try the other venues as well.

All was excellent. I'm from the South so this BBQ was pretty good. Quality was good with the BBQ, just could use more sauce. Mac and cheese was mid, the fries were excellent, but the corn bread was the real winner here. Def a must try! Will def come back!

Made a quick pit stop and the bbq was shockingly good! Thought it was just going to be a quick bite to eat but it ended up being a place we want to visit again!

I didn't know I liked cornbread before Phil's LOL now I know that I like it, just only like it at Phil's lol My husband also loves the cornbread. The maple butter is aaaaaaaamazing on top too! I could eat this all day. We brought the leftovers home and my husband and I were fighting over the last piece! I'm not even joking lol That being said, I also ordered some cheese fries. I also ordered the giant pretzel with cheese. The pretzel wasn't bad. The cheese that came with it was fire. I used that cheese and poured it on my fries to make that better. It was bomb! I did eat some of the pretzel, it was soft on the inside and warm. I would order the cheese fries again, but do the cheese sauce from the pretzel on it instead of grated cheese. My husband ordered one of the rib combos and he enjoyed the ribs. He didn't care for the macaroni salad much though. We both wish that Phil's BBQ had a macaroni and cheese. They really need to add it to the menu. That as a side, would be much better! Service was fine. You walk up to order and go up to get your food, when it's done.

When you first walk into this place you have hope for great Texas BBQ. They options are simple (as…read morethey should be for a real BBQ place), meats and a few sides and some sandwiches. I ordered the loaded brisket fries, 1 lb or moist brisket, 1/2 lb or burnt ends. The loaded fries were awesome and fresh crispy fries with 3 nice pieces of moist brisket on top. Highly recommend Burnt ends - my all time favorite and hard to get at a true BBQ place as they go fast as true burnt ends are limited. These did not disappoint and were spot on. Brisket - I like moist was real real tender and had a great flavor. We also had a side of the brisket baked beans and those babies were amazing. The have not a spicy and a regular BBQ sauce and I loved the spicy for sure. The regular is spot as as well and I just prefer spicy. The pit master and his wife (?) were super nice and the resultant was very relaxed and not loud at all. This is the BEST BBQ in the valley hands down. The sliders were decent but did not live up to the price in either taster or portion. The baked beans lacked flavor and seemed watered down. Speaking of watered down, the fountain drinks were definitely watered down... with some remnants of possible hops or some other type of aftertaste. The service was okay because the gentleman working seemed nice but he appeared to be the only waiter in the whole place and was definitely overwhelmed. The place was wide open and pretty much all outdoors so it's cool for a bar but not great for a dinner date. All of this gave me the impression Steinerhaus would be better suited as a bar serving bar food. If those are your expectations you'll probably be okay. If you're looking for a great bbq place to have a date night, this ain't it.

Pete's firehouse bbq really came through for my husband and I's special day. We had issues with a few of our vendors for the day, but one I didn't have to worry or stress over once was Pete and his bbq! The food was warm, incredibly delicious, and exactly what we asked for. Our guests all enjoyed it immensely, we heard nothing but rave reviews; and they still comment how the food at our wedding was the best ever. Pete went out of his way to help us throughout the process, from tastings to the main event; a truly kind and professional individual. He was always responsive to my emails and questions. My husband and I's favorite part, was by far the late night bites of pork belly sliders and mash potato bar. The appetizer meatballs also a game changer! Wish I could have a plate of everything as I write this. Since we had a fridge at the venue, we were able to keep our leftovers, which they packaged up for us. Though we didn't receive the toppings from the potato bar, only tiny hiccup, we did receive tons of leftovers that was such a bonus! Not to mention, that they heated well and were tasty even days later!! My husband, guest, and I all highly recommend Pete's Firehouse BBQ for your wedding or event!! You'll definitely, thank me later.
