Looks like a fluffy cotton candy cloud and tastes like perfection. Love the pot stickers and green onion pie. Buns with condensed milk are another lovely little treat. Steamed dumplings-yes, please. Lo mein is fantastic! There are bountiful drink choices from slushies to teas and milks. Like so many incredible offerings...hard to make a choice. Hands down one of my fave places.

So, I was telling a friend I was looking for a very good Boba place. She suggested CoCo's, and I got the directions. Imagine my surprise, it was next door to a place I go to regularly. I wondered why I hadn't seen this cafe before. The inside was so cute, it had a playful side and a lounge nighttime side, if that makes sense. I can see being here at night. I bet this place is very busy at night. It actually was busy when I was there. I tried to take my pictures away from people. I ordered the Honeydew Smoothie with the Tapioca Pearls. I have to say those pearls stood out. I never had pearls taste so good; they were so tasty and chewy. I was actually stirring my straw, moving the pearls around to get a lot of them at once to come through the straw. Now, granted, on its own, the pearls were coming through, but I think I got a little greedy. I also noticed there are food items on the menu. I saw more than a few entrees I like, and some I want to try. I want to dry the Rice Ball, Fried Tofu with Peanut Sauce, and more. There's so much here to try, and I can't wait. The question is, how did I not know about CoCo's?!

Looking for a new lunch spot, we found Kapatad Kitchen and Cafe on Yelp. Walking into the…read morerestaurant, you'll notice that it is one of the cleanest Filipino restaurants that you've ever been in. As we walked in, we were immediately greeted with a friendly voice from the front desk. They asked how many people were in our party, then seated us right away. They noticed that the table where we sat was a little wobbly, so they fixed it right away. We ordered a glass of red wine, a hot and sour soup, sesame chicken, beef kate-kare, a diet coke, leche flan and halo-halo. I was a bit hesitant about ordering the wine. I asked for a sample, and found out that it was decent, so I ordered a full glass. My partner, Stuart, loved the hot and sour soup. He said that it was better than Qi's hot and sour soup. He really enjoyed the sesame chicken with the broccoli being a little crispy. As for my beef kare-kare, it was a new experience for me. I've only had this dish with oxtail. It is served with a lovely side of bagaoon for a burst of flavor. The leche flan was too eggy for my friend, but a nice reminder of home for me. I love when halo-halo has bits of flan on it. Today, it did, so extra flan always makes my day. Altogether, the food, cleanliness and attentive service give this restaurant 5 stars!

Food/Drinks: Our group of three ordered Lumpia, Lechon Kawali, Sizzling Pork Sisig, Chicken Inasal,…read moreand Halo Halo. There wasn't a single thing we didn't like--everything was flavorful, seasoned nicely (i.e., not salty), and well cooked (i.e., not dry, which can easily be the case for Lechon Kawali), and we had to keep the rice coming, because one scoop wasn't enough. Coming from California, and after having tried a few Filipino places in Texas, Kapatad really gives others a run for their money. Two thumbs up from a fellow Kapampangan! Service: Great! Waited on by a few people, including an older woman, who was endearing. Everyone was kind and friendly. Food came out at a reasonable time. Ambiance: Casual, cozy, homey. Pictures hanging on the wall envelop the space, reminiscent of a Filipino home. Parking: Ample parking. Located in a plaza.

Beef Kare-Kare with tripe. The tripe is ok but was expecting the honeycomb variety so you can save some money by omitting it.
