Sweet potato fries
Neil M.

Delicious burgers, crisp sweet potato fries, yummy tenders and unlimited condiments - what more can you ask for? I really liked how non greasy the food was, given the kind of foods they sell. Very impressed and I'll be back!

The Stand is a really solid spot to grab some burgers and fries. Be warned, the chili cheese fries are a pretty hefty portion. Don't overdo it like we did haha. Their burger offerings are interesting, but you can also get a classic cheeseburger if you'd rather keep it simple. The staff were friendly, and the space has TONS of seating. Definitely a good place to get lunch or dinner with a group.

Pirri Pirri Chicken Bowl

We popped in here for a small bite after visiting someone at Kaiser Hospital. We got the Pirri Pirri Chicken Bowl special which was spicy but very tasty and I loved the wild rice mix. I'm not usually in this area of town so I searched to see if there are more locations close to me. Looks like they are mostly in SoCal but have 2 locations here. I would definitely go back and try a burger because they looked really good! BTW this is counter service whereas you order upfront and they bring the food to your table.

Came here for lunch and was distracted, so I forgot to take photos of the food! Disappointed in myself also. Staff and Service: - Order at the counter, the person at the register will give you a number to put on your table, and they'll bring your food to you - The menu is quite extensive, so if you've never been here before, I recommend scanning the QR code by the door and looking at the options Food and Drinks - Blueberry lemonade: ordered a small one of these, and you can pour it yourself from a dispenser next to the soda fountain. It was good - Thai Tea Milkshake: good, but incredibly sweet - Stand Burger: standard burger with god flavor. Be prepared for the mess though as it is juicy and messy - Red Curry Chicken Sandwich: flavorful with a kick to it Miscellaneous: - Plenty of parking available via a shared parking lot with other businesses (located at the intersection across from Kaiser) - Good for small and medium-sized groups - Bar and table seating available - Indoor and outdoor seating available

IMHO I ordered The Stand burger: "beef patty, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, Stand burger sauce on a brioche bun." My friend ordered the French Onion Soup burger: "beef patty, double parmesan-crusted bun, double gruyere cheese, red wine onions, crispy onion rings, on brioche bun", plus a large side of fries. At the time of order, I was asked how I wanted my burger cooked. "Medium, please!" The burgers arrive snuggly half-wrapped in paper to keep all the goodies intact. In the past, the burgers arrived at the table with a wooden spear pierced through it to hold the burger in place. I was amazed at how hefty my burger felt in my hand. Omigosh, my burger was so juicy, flavorful, and tasty! I could only eat half of my burger (which my husband later happily devoured for dinner). Let's talk fries! These fries are probably the best fries I've eaten in a very long time. These were not limp fries; they had structure for perfect ketchup dipping. They were moist on the inside and crunchy crispy on the outside. My friend also loved her French Onion Soup burger that came with a side bowl of dipping au jus. Drinks are self-serve. I wish the take-out boxes were more easily accessible to me instead of having to go back to the counter and ask for them. However, I suppose if a server were walking by, I could've asked and they would've happily brought them to me. Fortunately, The Stand just opened in a location not far from me. I will definitely visit again very soon!

First time visiting this location of The Stand. Parking is plentiful at this strip mall. The restaurant is very spacious, clean, and modern. Two separate multi-user men and women's restrooms. No table service. Order and pay with the cashier/bartender then they will give you a table number. They will bring your order to your table. The service is very friendly and nice. The Cobb Chopped Salad: sliced grilled chicken breast, avocado, cucumber, corn salsa, cherry tomato, diced red peppers, blue cheese & bacon, house made chop salad mix (romaine, iceberg, red cabbage, scallions, carrots), house vinaigrette or your choice of dressing (3/5). French Onion Soup Burger: beef patty, double parmesan-crusted bun, double gruyère cheese, red wine onions, crispy onion strings, on a gourmet brioche bun, served with French onion au jus for dipping (4/5). Pretty good burger Short Rib Grilled Cheese: chipotle & beer braised beef, triple cheddar, bacon tomato jam, crispy onion strings, hickory sauce, on a double parmesan crusted sourdough (4/5). Agua Fresca - blueberry lemonade or cucumber mint. Both were delicious! Support your local business.

Overall Experience 8.9/10 We came here on a Sunday afternoon and the place had a lot of people inside watching the 49ers game. The restaurant had a lot of seating and the service was super nice and offered us samples of their new items. The Food: Both me and my friend got the French Onion Soup burger and a side of fries. The burger was a good hefty burger, nicely seasoned with grilled onions, fried onions, and cheese on it. I liked how they toasted. The patty was pretty juicy, but I do wish there was a little bit more salt on the burger. The onions on the burger was great, and had an amazing balance to the burger. The fries that were ordered had an amazing crisp, and was fluffy on the inside. They also have a large selection of sauces that are complementary that you can try with the fries, and I loved trying them out. The gripe I have about them is I wished they have seasoned them a bit more, it needed salt on them. Overall: I would definitely come back to try different burgers and sauces. Maybe I am a little picky with salt levels, but I would highly recommend this place as a get together place, especially for games!

Visited the Stand on a whim. Warm greetings as i entered the restaurant. Everyone was so kind and accommodating . The young woman at the register was very throughly explaining the rewards program and answered all my questions. The burger was delicious and fresh. The fries were a little cold but edible. Enjoying my visit is a reason to come back!

Seared Ahi Tuna Salad
James M.

I've been to The Stand twice now, and even though their menu is full of delicious sounding dishes, both times I've been left a little wanting. Their Seared Ahi Tuna Salad was well presented, but the Tuna itself was overcooked rather than truly seared, leaving many of the pieces looking gray and offputting. The flavor was decent, but it was a little overdressed for my preference. The Short Rib Fries on the other hand were excellent and definitely worthy of another order. I told myself that maybe my disappointing first experience was the result of ordering a salad in an establishment clearly built around the classic American staples of burgers and sandwiches so for my second go around I ordered the Grand Stand Turkey, a turkey sandwich with a number of tasty toppings including bacon & avocado. Sadly this too left me disappointed as the turkey was basically just lackluster deli meat and the toppings were so thin that the sandwich barely had any substance to it at all. Despite my mediocre experiences so far, I still have some hope for this chain given its strong reputation and excellent looking menu items so I will definitely be back, hopefully though the third time will be the charm.

Regular order of Fries

When you first walk in, you order your food at the register and then sit down at your table with a number. The have a bar that you can get drinks from and they have pickles packed in containers for you to grab and bring to your table. Our go to orders here are: - Chimichurri Steak Salad: 5/5. It's so good! There's not many fast casual places that have good salads aside from Mendocino Farms, but this one is up there for me. The veggies are fresh and the steak is cooked really well. Tender and not dry at all! -French Onion Soup Burger: 4/5. I don't see many places that have this kind of burger, so every time I come here, I just gotta have this one. I like how it comes with a side of French onion soup for you to dip it in. It helps add a different dimension and experience for the burger. The flavors are on point, with the cheese, crispy onion, and the soup! I got the burger medium well, but it was a bit more pink than I would've liked. I wished it was cooked a tad bit longer so some of the fattiness would melt off a bit. Fries: 5/5. Although this was a regular sized order, it was a lotttt to eat. We actually couldn't finish the whole order after our two entrees. The fries tasted fresh cut and deep fried super well. I love ranch and the jalapeno scallion sauces to dip them in!! Overall, it was a pleasant meal. I love how different the menu is compared to other burger joints. They have experimental burgers, which is actually the reason I keep coming back for more!!

Big menu, decent food, and relaxed ambiance. This is my first time since The Stand took over this place. I bought a bunch of food to go for our school fundraiser. I'm just happy to find a chili dog. Also tried their salmon bowl and burger. Everything has decent taste and reasonably priced. They have a lot of food choices, from staples --- burgers, to more healthy bowls. They also have shakes and sides. I think this is a good option for family to eat with kids. At night they do have adults on the bar, having drinks and watching sports, but they have a good number or tables on the other side and outside on their patio. You order your food in line at the counter and then you wait on your table. Service time was standard. I think it depends on what and how much you ordered. Parking can be a challenge during peak hours. But you'll find one.

8-24-25 Staff: Friendly staff, super helpful. Clean place, dont even see trash or dirty spots. Super big areas to sit in. Good amount of Tvs to watch sports on. Bar area is well put together, looks amazing. Lots of draft on tap. ABC burger: Wife got it Med well, 10/10 perfectly cook meat Well balanced, good layer of food in the burger. The onion stack burger: If you enjoy like a bbq burger this is the one for you, with a well cook patty that was cooked on a fire grill, perfect amount of other ingredients in the burger. 10/10 perfectly cook meat as well Mac & Chesse: 10/10 get the large you wont regret it like I did. Onion rings: 10/10 big size rings, good crunch, lowkey taste like beer batter ones, perfect with ranch. Stand fries: 8/10 perfect size, golden brown with a good crispy bite to them. Just needs seasoning to them in my opinion but then again thats what sauce & ketchup for. Milkshake Cookies & Cream: lowkey get it at the end so you can enjoy it while you drive home.

The Stand: 3.8 stars! I've been here several times with my friend and used to come often specifically for Grub Burger! Ever since the switch, it hasn't been the same. My friend and I typically order the ultimate egg burger, large fries with their burger sauce, and ceviche. The staff is usually friendly, but during one of our visits, I asked for our burger to be cut in half like we always do, and the server said no -- which was a first for us. We were also disappointed to hear they no longer serve the ceviche, which was one of our go-to items. We tried the guac and chips instead, but it didn't hit the same! My friend enjoys their cookies and cream shake though. Not sure if we'll be back anytime soon

Honestly, everything was a bit average and lacking flavor. The churro waffles were by far the favorite and the best deal, price to taste-wise. Definitely get it if you're gonna try anything here. Otherwise, Bloom was slightly lackluster for me. Nothing terrible, but I prefer Sweet Maple as a brunch spot.

This was supposed to be a special birthday dinner date that my husband meticulously planned for me,…read morebut it turned into the most horrendous dining experience I've ever had. We dined at Lira on November 14th. The Service (or Lack Thereof): The Menu Shortage: We arrived for our 6:45 PM reservation only to be told by the manager that they didn't have enough menus. We were told they'd bring them "later." Ignored for 35+ Minutes: We sat with nothing but water for over half an hour. To make matters worse, a table of six was seated after us and received their full entrees while we were completely ignored. The Drink Mess: After 40 minutes, the server told me they were out of ingredients for my drink. When I picked a second option, she tried to insist I wanted a drink with celery (my most despised vegetable). We thankfully stopped her before it was made, but the incompetence was staggering. The Food Fiasco: An hour into our reservation, someone dropped off a scallop dish. A while later, a server asked if I'd "received the scallops yet," and I realized the plate I was eating wasn't even intended for our table. We were so starving that my husband and I just shared them. Once we finished, the server finally asked my husband if he "still wanted his meal or if he wanted to cancel it." I finally lost my cool - of course he still wanted his dinner! The Aftermath: My husband didn't realize that my friends had actually made a separate reservation to take me back to this same spot the following night for a second birthday celebration. After this performance, there was no way I was going to step foot in this building again or give them another cent of our money. I texted my friends from the table to cancel those reservations and book elsewhere. With service this disorganized and insulting, this restaurant won't be in business long. Super disappointing. Don't waste your special occasions here. *Edit - it looks like Lira has closed. With the service we experienced, I am not surprised in the slightest. I am hopeful that whichever future business occupies this space is more successful.

I had high hopes for this upscale Mediterranean spot in downtown Campbell. Lots of hype, but the…read morefood was average and service was all over the place. I thought some dishes were great; the wagyu burger was decadent. Other dishes were not that special. The scallops didn't taste too fresh (likely frozen) and combining them with hummus didn't quite work. The side of bread was practically insulting. $5 for stale table bread was a surprise. Dishes arrived very late; we were nearly forgotten when we tried to order, and then after ordering, we waited 40 minutes between appetizers and the main course. Not because they were cooking it; they just forgot we were there and when they brought out the dishes, the scallops were no longer just-cooked, and the burger had been sitting for a bit. No apology, just an acknowledgment it was late, and no discount (not even on the stale bread). They offered us wine, we said we didn't drink, and they just moved on. I debated a lot about how to review this. It's my personal experience that was disappointing, and I'm glad some reviews are very upbeat. But there's a handful of reviews noting frustrating delays... and that needs to be worked on.

The interior feels like a cozy home, with warm lighting and just a few tables, surrounded by bookshelves. You get a clear view of the inner workings of the kitchen and the staff are super friendly. The head chef and wife were also working in the back and come out to greet the customers. The concept is quite appealing - Korean food, reimagined with Western influence. Their ingredients are high quality and many of the vegetables come from the farmers market. The menu when we visited was: *Pearl Trio - Raw oysters and roe on a bed of tapioca. I have never had savory tapioca before, but I really enjoy the pairing. The pearls had just the right amount of bite and absorbed the sauce quite nicely. *Braised pork belly - Extremely tender and glazed with doenjang. *Caviar and razor clam - This was a supplement and I was glad we got it. The base was a pillow of steam egg. The pickles on top paired well with the savory caviar. *Organic chicken and gravy - Probably my favorite dish. Doesn't sound that crazy, but they really executed on the chicken. They injected it with brine so it was very juicy. They also air-dried the skin overnight (kinda like Chinese duck) to create a crispy exterior. The charred green onions on the side was a nice touch *Strawberry tart - The spiral design was eye catching. The strawberries added a nice tart flavor and the sweetness was just right. What I find most impressive is that they change their menu every month. How they maintain the quality despite this change really shows how much work they put into it. And the price point is just a fraction of other fine dining restaurants. I think they are able to do this by keeping the food relatively simple while focusing more on the flavors. I will definitely be coming back to try the other menus.
