Awesome service!! We visited on 10/7/2023 I'm the MOH for my friend and we had dinner here as a part of the Bachelorette Trip. They were so accommodating and gave as a large table inside with no wait at dinner time with no reservation! Our server, Angelina was so kind and was an amazing waitress. Superfood Salad (cabbage filler): The menu mentioned nothing about the huge amount of cabbage that was included in the superfood salad. The salad sounded great from the description (marinated white beans, avocado, feta, rye croutons, tahini lemon dressing) but the CABBAGE was the MAIN ingredient, and NOT mentioned as an ingredient. There was hardly any dressing so we asked for extra, it was extremely bland and had no taste of tahini or lemon. In fact it had no taste at all. We added chicken which was an extra $5. We popped into The Standard Pour for lunch. The place looks great and has a pseudo sports bar appeal with TVs high around the main room. We ate in the main area which has very high ceilings. It was about half full and I can imagine that if the place was full it could be a bit loud. However, there are other seating choices to choose from which would less loud. I had the Southwest Chicken salad which was excellent. My daughter had the Grilled Cheese with Bacon, which she shared with me. The grilled cheese was great. Crunchy on the outside, very cheesy with a hint of the bacon. read more

Under coworkers' recommendations, dropped by to this "nice sandwich place." Almost missed it because it does not look like a burger joint all. Exquisite. Looks like it has alot of history almost. High ceilings. Spacious. Where am I? The food is very much like Diamond Back (I heard it was the same boss?)...almost identical menu. Under my very enthusiastic waitress, I had her fave...the Reuben ..She told me she personally loved it with sourdough instead of rye.. but I'm not too big of a fan of sourdough so I had it with the rye. The food is really great and we've always had great service. The ambiance is interesting and that makes it that much greater.

Normally we spend time at the bar but today we went with the seated option. Clearly the best choice in the house!! Prior service wasn't to speak about, however this time!!!! Had a really enjoyable lunch at The Standard Pour. It was a beautiful day so we ate on the patio which is shady and inviting. The service was excellent. We ordered sandwiches for lunch. They were fresh and delicious. This restaurant offers Gluten Free bread! I had the Diestel Smoked Turkey breast - the absolute best turkey ever! My dining companion had the Cod. It was perfectly cooked. The tots - there's an upcharge for these - were crispy, delicious and it was a generous potion. I savored a glass of Newsome-Harlow Zinfandel while my friend enjoyed the craft beer selection. Geat meal, service and surroundings. Definitely recommend The Standard Pour. read more

This is an outdated review from a couple months ago. My impression of the meal was "meh", though the bf was simply pleased by the quantity of food he received. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and he ordered a burger, and both were just very standard, nothing noteworthy and nothing offensive. Each plate was served with a large pile of fries. I was actually pleased that the fries were regular fries, not shoestring as advertised - I personally dislike the shoestring fries that don't have any soft interior and are more like inferior potato chips. The one thing I must make note of is the fact that this place has a crazy good deal on a 21oz pour of beer - it's only ~$1 more than a pint! read more

Blew into town for a friends baby shower which was being held in a side room of this restaurant. My wife said it was nicely done and the staff was very attentive. That's good. I sat at the beautiful wooden bar and drank a few cold ones. The choices were good the beer was cold. The prepared food that I saw looked well done and presented nicely. The girl from Santa Cruz doing the bar duties was helpful with the beer choices being knowledgeable about them all. Sweet. Maybe next time I'm around I'll grab a bite or maybe just another beer. A hidden gem! We did not know it existed and were referred by Studio 3 Salon for the grilled Brussels sprouts. This popular, family friendly place was jumping and we had quite a wait because of a wedding party taking over a big chunk of the restaurant. Well, the wait was worth it! The Brussels sprouts were grilled on both sides with a touch of garlic, horseradish, lemon juice and obviously high quality balsamic! Amazing! If you don't like Brussels sprouts, you will after trying these! Our only complaint was the lack of attentive service from the friendly staff. We gave them a break since they were so slammed and look forward to going back to enjoy the beautiful bar area and more of the delicious looking menu! I really wanted to love this place, great history in the building, cool vibe inside and some creative things on the menu. We have been here a few times now and more than once we have ordered a dish and it seemed like they just took it out of a frozen prepackaged box and threw it in the fryer or the microwave. We just moved to town and we're trying out all the spots. We had lunch there and had fabulous service as well as delectable food! We started with the barbacoa fries....yum! The barbacoa was delish...would love to see it in more items in the menu!! We then each had a sandwich, the Turkey Reuben and the Cubano. I had some work done on my car at the Custom's Car shop next door. While it was being done my granddaughter and I stopped in for lunch. I had a Rubin sandwich, the best I ever had! (And I'm kinda picky about my Rubins!) I was impressed, the bread was toasted just right, light rye, the meat was not tough, just the right amount of onion and the sauce...perfect. We came in on a Saturday with a group of 7 for my daughter's 21st birthday. We have been here many times and loved the food and atmosphere. Our waitress was great, but the food was just ok. I remember it being sooo much better in the past. Our French fries were completely undercooked, and when we mentioned it to our waitress, she actually said "Ewwwww"! She mentioned that they were training new people and brought us a mountain of fries cooked well. Unfortunately we were pretty full by then and didn't end up eating most of them. This is our go to restaurant in town. They have a great menu and always have scrumptious specials. Whatever you get is going to be good. They have great burgers, sandwiches and salads. My favorite is the grilled cheese with pesto + bacon... amazing. For a side I highly recommend the tater tots instead of fries. The fries are great but the tots are elevated and are my other favorite! They can accommodate large groups and children are welcome. It's not a quiet place so for those intimate couples... not here. It's a place to socialize. They have a great variety of beers on tap as well as wines. Katie is super friendly and attentive. You will get great service at the bar. Wow....I was served MOLDY food! I made my 3rd visit after being unsatisfied with the first two...I wanted to give this local eatery a chance but each time I am given bad service and BAD food. Not only did I have a bad experience but my whole family was underwhelmed with their dishes. I ordered a salad which came with a side of bread. When I bit into the it, it tasted soooo gross. I noticed it was moldy...and informed my waitress, but all she did was casually take it to the kitchen. No substitute. No offer to remake. No comp to the meal. First time at this place and had an awful experience. After sitting down with our party of four, the waitress didn't greet us until about 15 mins later. When she did, she asked for our drink order. She then came back with two iced teas and asked if we wanted any appetizers...we were ready to order so we said no thinking she going to ask the next question...are you ready to order. Well, the next question never came and she just walked off leaving us hanging. We looked at each other in disbelief. She eventually came back another five minutes later for our order. I have to say she was friendly but her service style was just strange. Since we never got a drink menu, we decided to walk to the bar to order some beers. The young lone bartender was not busy but she was pouring a drink order when we walked up. After acknowledging that she was going to be right with us, she went on doing other things, even started to pour newly arrived drink orders and totally ignored us standing there to be served. We stood at the bar for about 15 mins waiting for her and watching her talk to other waitresses and never paid any attention to us. Finally, we walked back to our table and my wife asked the hostess if she can help us at the bar. The very friendly hostess walked my wife over to the bar only to get a very rude response from the bartender..."It's going to be a minute" while giving my wife a rude and snotty look. We decided that was enough abuse so we left and went somewhere else. Will never return. read more

Love this place. The servers are always sweet and helpful. The food is delicious (wish there was more salt on the fries but otherwise lol), love their homemade salad dressings. Great plate sizes.
