Wow is all I can say. The east valley needed a really good Korean BBQ spot and this is it. The wife and I did the all you can eat BBQ for $29 per person. You can order up to 3 meats at a time plus some sides. Our sides were the dumplings and fried rice. Dumplings were good but I absolutely loved the fried rice. We started with the ribeye bulgogi, the spicy pork bulgogi and the spicy shrimp and finished with the spicy brisket and spicy octopus. The ribeye and brisket were our favorite with the brisket coming out on top. The pork was delicious. The shrimp is head on and once cooked you have to peel it and the octopus was tasty. Once you order from the waitress a robot then brings you the items which was a neat little novelty item. Another table had young kids who loved the robot. Can't wait to go back. read more

Me and my lady was hungry last night. Wanted Korean BBQ. We live in east Mesa (Crismon and Southern). Typically we have to drive 20-30 min to Dobson to get some KBBQ. BUT WE DON'T HAVE TO DO THAT ANYMORE! We found this place on yelp and decided to try it. It did not disappoint. We got the AYCE Dinner which was $29.99 per person. They had all the classic favorites. Beef Belly and Kalbi is a must try. The service was amazing! The manager of the place, I forgot to get her name, but she was the sweetest server ever. Terrible night at this location. We didn't receive half of the foods we ordered. Once we placed a second order, it took longer than fifteen minutes with maybe 5 other tables in the establishment. We find out that there's only one cook in the back working a Friday night, and was notified that she was feeling unwell while preparing everybody's food so service would be a little slow. Told our server that we refused to eat anything prepared by somebody who is sick, one of the servers, Connor, called the owner and the only solution offered was to stay and keep eating the food prepared by the sick cook. The cook came out to our table and let us know that it was only fourteen minutes and that we should be patient and it's not that bad. I don't mind waiting for food, but when there's hardly any other patrons and the delay is due to the cook being sick, I have an issue. Some servers were kind, albeit forgetful, despite our frustration, and I understand that they did what they were able to within their ability. A few of the servers spent 25 minutes making small talk with the other tables, without bringing us the other sides we requested. Connor was the most helpful while the others tried to dodge the entire situation. Connor also made the only attempt to diffuse the situation and find us a solution. As for the food, the steamed egg we received was burnt and the soybean stew didn't taste right. I've never had salad at a Korean bbq place served with ranch, but it comes with ranch just FYI. One of the servers told us that there is no alcohol, and that she's unsure if that will be a normal thing moving forward. They were also out of syrups for the soda machine. The meat tasted decent for the price, so come for that for what it's worth. read more

We went on a Monday so it was not busy at all...I believe we were one of two tables . Number 1 , the customer service was excellent. The waiter was very attentive and helpful . I think for the price you are getting good value . I just about been to a lot of Yakiniku in the valley and this place easily in my top 3 . Highly recommend. Ambiance is not anything over the top , minimalist and most importantly looked clean . My only complaint is no alcohol which is nice to wash down the meal with . I was excited to try this place because it's so close to my new apt and I LOVE korean bbq, however I don't think I'll be returning. The food was actually very good, a decent steamed egg and tteokkboki, meat was fresh. The salad was terrible. The bad part of this place was the service. You couldn't get anyone to pay attention when you needed something, no one could answer any questions I had about items on the menu or drinks( and I only asked to see if they knew). A table of women even walked out because no one went to their table for so long. They were waiting for someone to take to take the check for maybe 20-30 mins, looking around for help, totally ignored. We then watched the older woman scold two girls right in front of everyone in the dining room about the walkout. The servers here have zero experience or even basic service social skills. Super awkward, fumbling opening beers at the table, no prebussing or anything. I had to ask to have the grill changed and that seemed to be a task as well. No offering of extra napkins, sauces, etc. I watched a boy serve raw meat to a customer off the cart they used to bus the dirty tables with, I also watched an older women open mouth cough multiple times all over the receipt she had in her hand for a customer. Really just a disappointment this place. I'll stick with Gen or Manna for my future Korean bbq dining. This place is a waste of your time. read more

The traditional menu options are not for the Korean palate. We had the dolsot bibimbap, mandoo soon tofu, beef soon tofu, and pan fried dumplings. The veggies on the dolsot were cold and the rice was barely fried on the stone pot with lots of moisture in it. The sauce for the dolsot was not passable. Both of the soon tofu bowls had too much oil in the soup. The side dishes were not seasoned correctly o put it nicely. The servers however worked very hard. We got the sense that they felt embarrassed. The actual meal we had did not resemble their posted Instagram or FB pics. read more

The most delicious tofu I've ever had! It was so soft, firm, and creamy all at the same time. There's a lot on the menu, and I loved that they have a "pick 2" option, allowing you to try more. The service was quick and pleasant. There's nothing super flashy about the environment, but the booths are all private, which is nice. You get a bunch of different traditional korean sides. I have seen many of these dishes on BTS shows so had a rough idea how it is supposed to taste. We ordered multiple items to share. kimchi pajun - 5/5 It was crispy, greasy(expected in pajun), huge portion and tasted perfect. Kimchi soondobu -4/5 tasted good nothing to complain Bibimbap - 4/5 huge portion, can adjust the spice based on the sauce on the side Pork bulgogi - 5/5 hubby loved it. So me and the wife love to order a plethora of things especially our first time. First the lady's we so sweet and nice. Just added to the ambiance. We order kimchi jjigae, beef bulgogi, seafood bibimpap, rice cakes, tray of side dishes. We were STUFFED PIGS after all that goodness. The flavors and freshness of everything was amazing. If we didn't leave way on the west side we would be here atleast once a week. I love kimchi and the beef bulgogi was my favorite. If your a fan of Korean foods or want to give it a try this is your place. To top it of my wife knows a little Korean so I got to say thank you to the ladies in Korean. This newer restaurant popped up recently. Our family loves Asian food and there's not many on this side of town especially Korean food. What a surprise to see this place! If you're not used to Korean menu items, I'd suggest you start off with a bibimbap and you will not be disappointed. It will come in a scorching hot bowl that will crisp up the rice on the bottom beautifully. You'll have to be patient and wait for it to cool a little but I admit I was so eager to try it i burnt my mouth a little. Yummy! The veggies were delicious and the galbi beef I had tasted amazing. The portion is huge. My hubby had the sullong tang which is a savory beef broth soup. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal too. The prices are a bit on higher side but you are getting a very large portion. It looks like they may expand into sushi and Korean bbq but for now you'll definitely find something you'll really like with their current menu. The restaurant is a nice clean place with great little decorative touches. Oh and did I mention it has a robot server?! We tried this place today and it was exceptional. There were four of us and everyone loved all the dishes. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere is very nice. The ajumma there is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. She remembers us every time we go in and we always have such nice conversation. I get the kimchi jjigae every time and it's always delicious. The pork belly and bulgogi are served on hot stone plates and they're definitely a must try! The cherry on top is the cute robot that brings you your drinks and side dishes as well! It was one guy running the floor, which isnt great when you need a change of a grill plate. Was pretty dirty as well on the table and grill we sat at. Wow! What an incredible spot for AYCE BBQ. We've been in twice before to have soup and a rice dish and they were phenomenal but tonight took my Mom out to celebrate and had AYCE BBQ. Amazing quality of meat! Such incredible flavors and Charlie the robot was so cute! But Shelby, our server, made our night.
