The Taco Boss is such a hole in the wall but I absolutely love it. I've been coming here for taco Tuesday for a few weeks now and I really enjoy it. Parking is easy, but theres construction on the street outside which can make it hard to get to. This is probably one of the most cheapest places for taco Tuesdays (tacos are around $2-3), but the quality is superb. The food is super amazing and their salsas are all really spicy and take the food to another level. The service is also amazing. The server/cashier is super nice and friendly, shes also very hardworking. I'm not sure her name but she is there every time I walk in the door. Our food gets out quickly and theres really never much of a wait. All in all, I'm definitely coming back and I look forwards to bringing new people to discover the wonderful Taco Boss! read more

I've had my share of "California burritos" and this one is literally the worst one I have ever had. It was bad enough for me to write a review which I almost never do. I don't recommend it. If you visit this Place order something else. I also tried a couple different salsas and both are duds. read more

This place only opened up 2 weeks ago and now it's my go to if I'm craving tacos! Everything I've tried so far. Birria tacos - amazing, especially when you dip it. (Don't know the name) 3 shrip taco plate - you can eat the tacos by itself and it's great. But! They add in grilled jalapeños, onions, Pico on the side if you want to get that pop of extra flavor. They also include a seperate sauce with it that pairs extremely well. Ramen Birria - I was skeptical, but. You need to try it! So much flavor! Tacos (asada and pastor) - both juicy and the pastor is one of the best ones I've had in a long time. Vampiros (not sure if I spelled it right) - nice and crispy shell and delicious to boot. Kinda wish I knew how to eat it properly lol. All in all, The Taco Boss is now one of my go to hole in the wall spots. We had quite a feast to make sure we tried a little of everything especially our favorites... The burrito I ordered had 90% potatoes and 5-10% protein only. The kitchen also forgot the guacamole,sour cream and had little to no salsa. Very disappointing! Spoke to staff and they didn't seem to really care or resolve my issue. They just kept saying manager not here. read more

Cancun juice on Tustin was closed on a Sunday & my husband & I really wanted a good Torta. Randomly found this spot near & took a chance based on their decent reviews. I ordered a torta de asada & my husband the torta cubana. Both were so delicious, better than Cancun juice. Salsas were good & their pickled carrots/jalapeños were sooo yummy. I like coming here for Lunch. I like most of the things they have on the Menu. The only one thing that I'm not a fan of is the California Burrito. First time I had it , Yeah It wasn't not good. One of my friends had it too and he wasn't a fan of it either. I gave it another try but still didn't like it. But besides that I liked everything else. I loved getting the Tacos De Lengua and Al Pastor. I got the Carne Asada Fries and they really good. Totally recommend this place. read more

Taco Boss just opened up recently and I wanted to give them a chance. They did not disappoint and it was well above my expectations. I recommend that everybody gives this place a try. I ordered 3 items off the menu: the Birria Ramen, Carne Asada Fries, and the California Burrito. Never had Birria Ramen before so I really wanted to try it after seeing people talk about it on social media. The consomme was flavorful as was the meat. The Carne Asada Fries was well portioned with a lot of meat, which gets extra points for me. The California Burrito was a typical Cali Burrito but it was delicious. I also tried each of the sauces and those were good as well with the right amount of spiciness in it to satisfy me. I definitely plan on coming by again. FANTASTIC BEEF BIRRIA!!!! The birria here is sooooooooooo good! Seasoned just right & not salty at all! SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD! The service was top tier as well considering there was just one cashier & one cook running the whole place. If you're looking to run in & out, go somewhere else. These people are too nice to deal with anyone's bad attitudes or impatience. They were kind enough to make me a plate of birria with beans & rice AND ITS NOT EVEN ON THE MENU! My wife and I should start a blog on taco spots. Every Tuesday we have been trying different taquerias and this week I stumbled on taco land. They have Great tasting tacos, very affordable at 1.50 on taco Tuesday. We tried the asada, pastor and carnitas. My favorite had to be the pastor. They have a nice salsa bar with pepinos, pickled red onions and four different choices Of salsa. The habanero salsa is spicy! Green salsa was very flavorful. read more

I decided to give this place a try because they just opened up. I ordered birria tacos, a quesadilla, and birria ramen. When I got home I noticed there was no consume for the birria. So I called and asked about why I didn't receive the consume with my meal. The young woman who answered the phone told me they ran out. And I asked her why I was not notified that they ran out. And she said if they run out, most customers don't mind. She was so rude to me on the phone. This escalated into a shouting match. She told me they had just opened and and they were a small, family owned business. And I told her that having awful customer service is not the best idea for a new business. I didn't receive an apology, she said the consume was only worth $2.50 and had a nasty attitude and started yelling at me and trying to justify her actions. I asked to speak to a manager. She told me she was the manager. I asked for her name. And she said "It doesn't matter" and then she hung up the phone on me. I'm just so sad that this happened. read more

This is the best after a long day of work. We come here all the time, always clean, always great hospitality with the cashier and cook. The food is delicious. We love it here. Everyone is welcomed, we have a diverse friend group and this is one of the places they all feel welcomed, I can't say the same about some other places. Dropped by on Sunday after playing a round of golf with my buddies. Got to say this place is a hidden gem! I ordered the carne asada breakfast burrito and it was delicious. It is well proportioned with eggs, carne asada and hash browns. The hash brown is a nice touch as they were crispy and a gives nice crunch to the burrito. Salsa bar had all the classics you can ask for and an avocado sauce( I think?) that made the breakfast burrito out of this world. Definitely will be returning to try more of the menu! read more
