Not open at 9! Came on my break to eat some tacos and it's 9:04 and it's empty. No one is inside. Lights are off. I knocked and no response

First impression is that the music and kitchen errors were so loud it made it difficult to order. We were able to order quickly and it didn't take long to receive the order. I think it's expensive for quantity of food received. The food was okay. The menu is somewhat small. Not in a rush to visit, again.

I thought I ordered a Carna Asada burrito not a rice burrito with Carne Asada. I expected more for $14, yikes. Not worth it. The Carne was good but hard to taste around all the rice as well as beans and lettuce.

This place should have so many more reviews than it does, it is absolutely amazing. I have been seeing videos and posts about birria, which is a type of soup with tons of seasonings and such. I saw that they had ramen birria and I was sold. First off, the ramen birria smelled so so good I was so excited to dig in. Second off, I decided to get it with tacos so I could dip it in the ramen. Hands down the best thing I have ever tasted. I highly recommend if you do like spicy, authentic, Mexican food. The service was quick and the lady who took our order was super helpful.

This spot just opened up nearby me so we decided to give it a try. They have street tacos for $2 on Tuesdays which is a great deal! You order at the counter to dine in or for takeout. They have a selection of tacos, burritos, burrito bowls, combos with fries, and even a fusion with tacos inside a ramen that I haven't tried yet but intend to next time! Definitely get the consome to dip your Burria tacos in (or just drink it's that good). We've tried the surf and turf burrito bowl and a selection of their tacos. I'd definitely get the tacos again but the burrito bowl was a little carb heavy and could use more lettuce/tomato/veggies incorporated for some different flavors and textures. They have a green and red salsa that's really good as well. The ambiance is casual with a selection of high tops to dine-in and they play nice festive music and have one tv inside that plays food promos. The music isn't overly loud but enough that you wouldn't want to be taking business calls or anything. The service has always been really friendly as well.

I really enjoyed the Taco Spot! Lots of great options with some well made tacos. The surf-and-turf was filled with meat and fish and some really amazing salsa and veggies. I would have liked a few more options for non-meat / veggie / fish tacos, but oh well. Service was nice and friendly. Parking can be a REAL challenge due to the number of businesses sharing the strip mall space. Had to park pretty far down in the parking lot in front as it was just packed. There is additional parking in the back but that was filled. Taco Spot itself was not that busy, so the parking issue was likely due to the other businesses there.

The tacos are tiny and 20 bucks for 3 with small rice and beans so disappointed. Will not be going back.

$16 for a burrito. Not much meat and ingredients were clumped :/ (also no sour cream even though I paid extra for it)

Great tasting tacos. The menu is digital displayed and changes too often. That part was annoying. But the beef tacos had great flavor.

Authentic Mexican food sounded perfect and I knew good things were in store when I arrived at 11:30am on a Friday and all of inside and outside tables were full. The inside is quaint but has quite a few tables. They also have tables out front in the shade (to call it patio seating may be a stretch, just simple tables and chairs on the exterior of the entrance). You order your food at the counter and I didn't study the menu ahead of time but the ladies taking my order were patient with me. I ordered a shredded beef taco and a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Nothing fancy for my first time as it's hard to golf on a full stomach! I found the only open table and then hit up the salsa bar. They have 4 or 5 different salsas/hot sauces and a few other goodies. I got a small cup of each sauce and all of them were quite good. My food was colorful, flavorful and just the right away to give me some energy without being lethargic. I could go on about a few other nice things but it seems most of East Mesa already knows about this place given the high scores on Yelp from a lot of reviewers. Nothing to prevent me from giving a 5* review at this time. I look forward to trying some more dishes in the future.

Carne asada burrito which came with chipotle cream sauce, carne Asada, and pico. Also beans and we asked for no rice. We both had rice on the side with beans. The burrito was nice and big. The rice was really good. And the beans were mediocre. The burrito was good, except the only bad thing I would say it was a little too greasy, and when you bit into it, all the greasy juice came out. I'm not sure if we would go back maybe, to try something different.

The parking lot outside was parking so we thought we may have to wait, but inside was not busy yet and we were seated immediately. I ordered the smoked chicken enchilada as I saw it was a Yelp favorite and it was delicious. I ended up taking half of it home since we all filled up on chips and salsa before our meal. This restaurant is decorated so cutely. I love how there is a Baja influence with all the surf boards but also southwest appeal. There is plenty of seating and tables for big groups. Even with other people yapping around us, the noise level was perfect to enjoy company. 10/10 would recommend.

Decent amount of food, although the chicken and carne were both a bit dry. I enjoyed the beans and rice, and the additional accouterments. Overall, good flavor and seasonings, just dry protein.
