The server was not attentive he took our order and didn't see him until he served our dinner and took our money. The dinner was a long wait. The salmon was over cooked we ask the waiter about it, and he said that is how they cooked it. The scallop tasted like chicken so over cooked. My salad arrived very quickly, but wasn't that good. It had a whole pepper and an onion ring that wasn't even cut! Who is going to want that in their salad? After that, my family's food arrived and mine took some time to come. My mother got a grouper sandwich which was dry. She said that she was gagging as she was eating it. My father got a cuban sandwich, which was just eh. The best thing was the chips, which were regular ruffles. I got the reggae pasta, which the sauce wasn't very flavorful and was basically flavored water. The bread was very hard like a crouton. The presentation wasn't good and looked pretty sad. The shrimp in it wasn't great either and there were more tomatoes in it than pasta! Also, we got cheese fries which were not good. Clearly these people don't know what salt is. When we got the bill, it was VERY expensive for what we got. There was even a transportation fee! THREE PERCENT?!?!?! I don't want to pay for your gas to get to your job! Friends invited us here for dinner and it was delicious! Lots of great, fresh seafood at a reasonable price and the portions are large. I tried cracked conch for the first time and I highly recommend. It was like a cross between clam strips and calamari but very thick pieces. The fried corn was a fave but it's really just a deep fried corn on the cob so I would probably pass on that on next time. The sweet potatoes, however, are decadent! Everyone left full and happy. Great family owned restaurant and bar that I've been going to for at least 10 years now. Great front patio and back yard bar. All the food has been really good and service is always smooth. The venue is great. Decided to sit outside in their nice sized patio. Had a nice beer selection on tap, had Kona Big Wave! We did many apps, they were all outstanding. The best Buffalo shrimp I ever had, the waitstaff shared that is one of their signatures. Their Keylime pie was good but there are so many places that have a good Keylime pie. read more

Started with host who sat us,not the job for him gives you an attitude from the start and what is up with wearing sunglasses inside. server was nice but slow and what a ripoff for all you can eat crab over cooked and have to wait a long time for more 175 for 2 is crazy.never again will is dine here it was not a god vibe from the start and you know this happens when you ask serve what's up with the host and he says he gets lots of complaints on him. hopefully management see this and make some changes. read more

Look on the schedule for Bus Stop Band; I love their Motown song list. Patrons of this restaurant like to dance. Affordable drinks. I had Tito's Vodka with OJ. Husband had Woodford Reserve bourbon. This place is the ultimate dive bar. It's a 3.5 for me but yelp wont allow that. The food is greasy and good but the friendly staff and likeminded bar buddies you'll make are amazing. Place looks pretty small from the outside so I figured it would be crowded and we wouldn't be able to get in. But plenty spacious and lots of tables once inside. My husband and his friend both wanted the baby back ribs but they were out of them so they ended up getting the butterfly shrimp which was absolutely delicious he loved it and that's kind of what I wished I had gotten. The shrimp were good size and very tasty and a generous portion. I got the fish tacos which were good, but I have had better. My friend got the fish sandwich which was really pretty substantial and she said the fish was very tasty and not too overly battered. The reason for just four stars instead of five is because they were out of the ribs, and my fish sandwich was just average. We Would definitely go back! read more

Really disappointing. I will preface this review by saying we got our food to go. Maybe it's better if you eat at the restaurant, but I'm not willing to go back to find out. We spent $90 for one appetizer, two soups, and two meals. Not outrageous for seafood, but at that price you expect it to be good (and not give you a massive stomach ache) The scorned woman (buffalo shrimp) were good, that was the best part of the meal. Conch chowder- broth based and spicy. Not what we expected, and not great Lobster bisque- overly rich. Maybe if you like Frenchy's you'll like this one... both are a pass for me. Grouper Ruben- had high hopes for this one based on other reviews. Mediocre at best. Fish and chips- the biggest disappointment of the bunch. The fries were stale and soggy- like they'd been left in the fridge for two days then microwaved. The fish was okay. Gosh, I really wish I had something better to say because I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews. Visited twice this week, once for lunch and another for dinner. In both cases the food was very nice and the portions were ample. Our server at lunch time was very friendly and professional. At dinner time our service was lackluster at best. It was a cold night and the server and many of her cohorts were reluctant to maintain the heater near our table. It wasn't until we were done with our meal that a young man finally had it working properly. Service was slow on top of that, included clearing plates, getting the bill to the table and taking payment. They did have a wide variety of menu items, which was appreciated.
