NE Patriots game watching is FANTASTIC at 3 Monkeys!!!! My BF and I live right in Boston and were NYC for a long weekend. Wanted to finish up a great few days by watching the NE Patriots game at a sports bar. Did my research before leaving Boston and was very happy to see that the 3 Monkeys website shows NE Patriots sports bar!! Stopped by on Friday afternoon to check the place out. The bartender recommended we arrive early on Sunday to ensure we'd get a seat upstairs. We listened and got there right about 1130 am for the NE Patriots at Bengals 1pm game. Glad we did that since the place did get packed. Was so great to watch the Patriots WIN that game amongst others who love Boston sports. Fans were not only wearing Patriots gear but Celtics Bruins and Red Sox attire was in attendance as well! Add the fact that there are 36 beers to choose from and really good food. Nice spot that was right next to my hotel. Watched the football game and had a couple of whiskeys, bartenders were very nice.

Excellent place to go if heading to a show or just in midtown west. Ambiance is just right a pub - but it wasn't too dark or super noisy. We were there for lunch. The staff were attentive and super pleasant. The beverages were amazing. Great cocktails and the Three Monkey beer was spot on. Food didn't have any . Did not even offer any suggestions. Got two tickets for 20 for a comedy show that was @ 8:30 pm . Was told my bill would be sent up stairs and would be held onto until the tab was closed. No one came and offered assistance. Starving for an hour and a half . Had to go around the block to get pizza . What kind of service is that !!? The ambiance was nice in the beginning. Bartender recommended some drinks . Once I got to the comedy show when it came to food was a shit show, but the comedy part was well. Though it's like after the comedy show that consisted of 11 people in the audience and 8 comedy acts ... as soon as the act was done ... all of a sudden they want to come out with the check . I got a Great Gatsby with an extra shot the first round and Tequila with Orange Juice x2 $80. Honestly the service was terrible. I also mentioned to the gentlemen that drew us into The Three Monkeys how bad the service was (food wise) and as I turned around and walked away, he started laughing ....terrible service. Fantastic bar across the street from the Marriott! Every night we would walk downtown to Times Sq. but at the end of the night we would stop in for a nightcap. Our trip to NY was a short one, but we made it to Three Monkeys every night and the vibe of the bar is chill with music in the background playing. Bartender served up solid drinks, prices were moderate and portion sizes matched the price of the drink! This is another cool spot to hangout the next time we fly into New York. read more

I was recently at the three monkeys bar before a Broadway show for a bite to eat with my girlfriends. The food was excellent and the drinks also. But most of all the service was amazing, our server Christina took such good care of us and made us feel like we had been coming there for years! I came in mainly to catchup on some tennis as it's better to watch at a pub than at your hotel. The staff was so nice, always on point with service and recommendations and I felt super safe. Mixed drinks (something broadway, was fabulous). I had good Guinness for the first time and it was mind blowing, along with another stout that was a hybrid between a coffee and a Guinness. Perfection. Crowd was mix of locals and tourist. Ample TVs spread out and there is a comedy show upstairs for $10 admission nightly. Looking forward to be back! read more

My friend and I stopped by as it was around the corner, as we wouldn't make it for our train back home, and this looked the most appealing, after being on a filming for Stephen Colbert. To honest, the funny drink names, is what truly garnered our appeal. We stuck to appetizers only, as we wanted to munch, more than having and actual meal. To eat, we ordered the calamari in a sweet chili sauce (nice, sweet kick), chicken tenders (nicely crispy exterior, not chewy inside, a proper chicken tender; honey mustard hands down better) and the IPA Smoked Brisket flatbread (absolute deliciousness; crunchy and crispy, spicy but sweet, and tangy). To drink, first I had the Lavendar Mule (was just alright, a little too heavy on the lavendar, and yes I know, it's supposed to have lavendar, I just didn't think the taste would be that strong) and the Purple Panties (better drink of the two, plus doesn't hurt that it had a funny name); my friend had an old fashioned, and stuck with it, saying that it was one of the better ones that she has had recently. Our waitress was very quick to service my friend and I, along with all the other tables she had. Although somewhat small spot, it felt like there were a lot of tables, and she handled everyone which ease. I believe there was one other person waiting tables also, and there were 2 bartenders. Kitchen turn around was quick also, bar was a bit behind, but not too bad, when considering how many people were in the bar. If I will be in the city again, would stop in again, to try more of their fun drinks, and enjoy more of their flatbreads. read more

There's a spirit to it, a vibe matched by the happy demeanors of patrons and employees. I like the burger, the wings, the soft pretzel, the mac and cheese. The seasonal winter flatbread, topped with chorizo, potato, and jalapeño, is quite nice. It's hard to go wrong with the food here. The beer selection is diverse, and I like having so much to choose from. Sadly, some kegs are occasionally left on the line a little too long; I've gotten a couple flat, skunky pints before. Nice bar in Midtown with a decent selection of drinks and a pretty good vibe. COVID-19 Measures: Pandemic measures are largely over, since most people have gotten their booster shots. Most people didn't wear masks, and that's refreshing after years of having to mask up inside with friends. Location: Located in Midtown NYC, this is a great location for professionals working in the area. For a lot of lawyers I know, this is a short walk away from their offices which makes it great for meeting up in person, especially given their busy schedules. Drinks: I ordered a Pinot noir and was pleasantly satisfied. I'm not much of a drinker, but the Pinot noir I ordered didn't disappoint. Service: The service was honestly very good, given how busy the bar was. Price: Drinks weren't cheap, but that's how NYC is now. I was in the city on 54th at the Courtyard Mrriot across the and wanted something casual and under $100 which isn't easy if your looking for burger and few drinks. The place I should say at this time was NOISY they had extremely loud music and the place was packed so everyone had to talk loud. They had 35 beers on tap I was more interested in a basic cocktail which I was happy with and the bar tender was a reat guy. Ordered a burger and that was very very good. Overall I would want to try some other things, when I come back in the future I will be looking to try some other beers. I had finished attending an event around 11pm and needed a spot to eat with my sister. The place was decorated with Christmas lights, which gave it a festive ambiance. I ordered some chicken wings that were spicy and big enough to fill up my appetite. They reminded me of Korean BBQ wings so they were very good. Our waiter never let anyone's drink get empty, but I set mine down to walk out and help my girlfriend find our group and when I returned my $18.00 drink was gone. When I asked he said that he thought I had left, but I was only gone for 5 minutes and it was sitting in the middle of a table of my colleagues. They lose a star for not replacing the drink that they took away.
