Today at 12:45pm the hostess seemed annoyed we had masks on and asked to sit outside. She even stated she was unsure of being able to get us a server. The brunch here is our favorite. Fancy donut holes with hazelnut spread, yes please! ‍ we love the omelets with a side of their chili. My kids get a breakfast sandwich that is in between two pancakes. Bloody Mary's are tasty too. For dinner we have had the scallops and loved them. The food and service at this location is always outstanding for lunch and dinner. I've tried most of the items on the menu and each one has been delicious. Ate here today for brunch. I'll start with the positives. The wait staff Vanessa was attentive and we got sat really quickly. We ordered the mimosas with the souvenir glass. And .99 cent refills. The serving size felt like a large shot portion. For an app, we ordered the voodoo meatballs. Which was literally dense meatballs wrapped in bacon, topped with BBQ sauce. Total disappointment. Next came our entrees. We both ordered the Hashbrown Hangover Burger. The best part of the burger was that the over medium egg was cooked perfectly. Everything else was an afterthought. The food taste like air. It had absolutely no flavor. I wanted to ask the server for salt and pepper, but she didn't return for a while. So we attempted to eat the food, in order to not waste money. My husband and I ate half, and gave up. Got our bill $80, paid it and left. Swore to never go back. Lesson learned. At least I tried. read more

Stopped in for lunch with my family and was greeted very friendly by the hostess. Place is very clean very nice restaurant. The food was excellent and Ralph, the manager came over to check on us to see how we enjoyed the food. He also gave us complimentary appetizers for next visit and I also treated us to dessert. Tried to eat there for lunch today but no one assisted us. We stood at the hostess stand for about 5 minutes. My coworker walked into the restaurant and said at least 2 staff members saw her but just walked by her. It was about 1:15 PM The restaurant was not busy. I had heard so many good things about this place so being a foodie, I was looking forward to trying it. However, I was very disappointed and I have no idea how they have 4 stars.. There's no mimosa specials and I've never been to a brunch that didn't offer mimosa specials! 1 mimosa will run you $12.99 and they're not strong, if that's what you're thinking. The food was overpriced and mediocre. I had the crab cakes and they were lackluster. My significant other had a burger and it was also just, ok. We would've done better creating our own brunch, at home or going to one of our fave brunch spots, in Houston. We won't be returning. read more

Great service, very welcoming. Very nice beer selection. Have a few local beers in tap including bombshell blonde from southern star and gentleman's relish from lone pint. Wonderful atmosphere, sort of dark and fancy feeling. HOWEVER, I ordered the UNION BURGER with fries..... The presentation is amazing. I'm not sure how it's possible, though it's almost as if after making the dish, they dumped fresh canola oil all over it. It's dripping with grease. To a fault. There is clearly a disconnect between the management and the cooks. Huge potential, just cut back on the grease. Update: Thinking back, I put 2 and 2 together. I have a feeling the grease was from the onion rings on the burger. The fries were soggy and limp, basically wet with oil. The onion rings were the same. Maybe they just weren't drained too well after the deep fryer, along with the fries. Especially bc I had to smoosh down on the burger to fit in in my mouth. Big burger. That's gotta be it. read more

Hit or miss on the food. Went there today and their special was a 12oz ribeye. The steaks were very tough for ribeye. They were definitely Select or lower grade steaks. Not very good food. The service was nice and they had a good wine selection. I had the grilled chicken bbq sandwich which just tasted like a char grill and my husband had a pasta dish with both red and white sauce that didn't not mix well with his system. Wouldn't recommend. read more

I don't know what has changed - the menu or management or ??? but something has changed and it's just not good. Went tonight (3/28) early around 4:45. I walked in and the hostess was just standing there in the middle of the entry and simply said "Hi!" I wasn't sure if she was waiting for a table or if she worked there. I said I was waiting on my husband and it would be a table for two. She tried to seat us at a table almost immediately in the door. I asked to be seated elsewhere and was given my choice of the entire restaurant then. I ordered a vodka tonic while I waited for my husband and it was good but a little pricey. Ordered calamari which were just Luke warm and greasy. We didn't finish them. The bread they brought out was from frozen dough and saturated in garlic flavored margarine. Side house salad was good but my husband's Caesar salad was basically iceburg lettuce with a couple croutons. I don't think it was Romaine lettuce as a Caesar should be. I ordered the ribs which were suggested by our waiter when I couldn't make up my mind between three things. They were "okay" not great. Husband ordered a steak and said it was good, but his potatoes were soggy and greasy so he sent them back. Best part of the meal was the chocolate cake. Between drinks and food, we spent $122 before tip and it just wasn't worth that. We most likely will not be back and it's a shame because there are very few restaurants in the Kingwood area worth going to. We can scratch this off the list now. read more

Love the atmosphere, I come here often for brunch. Normally the food is bland but today it was a bit better. My friends and I had the pancake sliders, that normally comes with canadian bacon, sausage, eggs and hashbrowns. I was told by the manager that there was no sausage so I was given extra bacon however; when I looked around I seen sausage on everyone else's plate.
