This UPS Store location on Blanding Ave in Alameda provides Excellent business services. I use them for everything from mailhandling to document processing and couldn't be more pleased. They make a point of knowing their regular customers by name and I always receive a warm greeting when I arrive. They offer convenient extra services such as notifying me when I have a package and allowing me to call to see if I have mail in order to save myself a trip. They also stock a variety of oft needed office supplies for one stop shopping if I need something quickly. Just what the busy business owner needs! read more

This is the worst UPS Store ever. They lose packages and simply do not care. If you question them, they are rude and lie to the customers about UPS protocols that are completely fabricated. The owner/manager, Joe, is a complete douche and irritable man. He's impatient, doesn't take questions well and happily told another customer to consider his package missing and to file a missing package claim simply because he was too lazy to search for the package in the mountain of packages in the back. I love doing business at this store. Out of all the times I've come in, either to do some copying of documents or buying products, I've developed a friendship with whom I'm assuming is the manager, Ava. She is sooo very helpful and goes out of her way to accomodates your needs. The rest of the staff there are as friendly and helpful as well and that's what makes this particular UPS store special. read more

This place is amazing...if you need to ship something come here. They love customers and treat them so well. I had to have a bunch of things done and was dreading the day - but this UPS store is more than just a shipping spot - I had something notarized, copied, scanned in, emailed and overnighted in about 10 minutes - it was great. I arrived at the UPS Store on Blanding at 6:35 PM, thinking they closed at 7. Turns out they actually close at 6:30, but Gagan kindly said, "Don't worry, I'll stay to help." That kind of customer service is so rare these days. I'm truly grateful for Gagan, you're the best! Thank you for going above and beyond. Extraordinary customer service. For a while there was an employee who always appeared stressed, but he seems to have been replaced by a friendly and superbly competent young lady. Their software (presumably provided by UPS) malfunctions occasionally, but they always address it whenever I mention a problem. read more

Even if you are a patience individual you will go nuts waiting in line for a simple transaction. Avoid like the plague especially mid afternoon as the staffing solutions need to improve increased something please do something! read more
