I have used this store many times over the years with no problems until yesterday when I went in to mail a package The clerk was unfriendly which is okay but she asked me what specifically was in the package then measured it. I was told it would cost over $23.00 even though it weighted less than 1 lb. She said because it was going across country. I told her that was ridiculous and I'd take it to the PO. She said they would charge $27.00!! It actually cost me $15.95. How many people have gotten taken by this misinformation?? read more

The female manager is horrible. I walked in 15 minutes before closing and she was rushing me. I decided not to ship my box because I thought it was too expensive. She didn't like that. Anyway I left my phone and wallet on the counter by accident. I left and went next door to Vons then I realized I had to go back to UPS and ask for my phone. She wouldn't take a moment to look for it she just said there's nothing here. So I turned on my find my phone app and it started beeping about 2 weeks later. It was at the UPS store. When I went down there a young guy said he saw it in a drawer and turned it on. He said the manager told him not to turn it on. I'm so glad he did. What a mess! read more

Greeted as soon as I entered the store. I was going in to the UPS store to pick up a package that I wanted delivered to the store versus my Home for security reasons. I never knew that was an option; it's very simple. You go in let them know you are picking up a package and give them your name and ID. The only reason I didn't give a 5 Star is because the employee looked very puzzled like she had no idea how the process worked to pick up packages. Once she asked her other co-workers for help my package was retrieved. The whole process I was in and out of there within about 5-10 minutes. read more

I'm a 67 yr old woman who had a sit stand desk to return. It is in a 40 in x 28 in box very heavy. There were at least 6 girls and 2 guys working. I was dragging this box in andvno one would help me.. Then in front of me was a 99 year old Asian man who had a cane was sitting at the front.The girl that was helping him made him get up and give her the money because she to lazy to walk behind counter.. Then when I came up there was a BIG GUY CHRIS who was behind the counter so I asked him to help me if he could put this on the scale because I couldn't lift it. He said you have to bring it to the scale so I finally got it there and then he said I need help and I said thats what I needed.. I was so mad because that lazy man wouldn't help.. YOUR WHOLE STAFF IS LAZY!!THEY WONT HELP THE ELDERLY THEY COULD CARE LESS.. I HAVE LIVED IN THIS AREA FOR 50 YEARS AND I AM TELLING EVERYONE OF MY FRIENDS NOT TO GO TO YOUR UPS STORE!! I Live in Rancho Cucamonga & Whenever I Need To Receive A Fax or send Or receive a Package I'M Always in & out.. I'm Very Satisfied with their Customer Service & Their Always Courteous & Helpful... But Today They Went Above & Beyond..... I Went in to pick up A Fax from My Doctors & As I Was Standing their I Started seeing everything blurry and felt dizzy.... I was ready to faint... As I Turned and held on to the mail box in their the employees their made a point to look directly at me and asked if I was okay.. Even the customers... I explained how I just had surgery & right now I'm not feeling so well.. The employees their and customers came to me & brought me a chair and asked who they could call...As another employee brought me water and a cold damp rag... Thats when one genuine customer offered to drive my girls and I home & I took the offer...the employees their and customers helped to get me in the car and before they did another genuine customer prayed for me... Yes I Am Home Now & Resting... But I Am Genuinely Grateful to The UPS Staff & Customers 4 Going Out of their Way To Help Me & My Girls... Avoid this place like the plague. It used to be a great alternative to the post office on Amethyst, but it must have changed owners or managers. The place is now a den of thieves! After weighing a Christmas package for 1st class, I ball parked about 9.50 in charges. Imagine my surprise when the clerk said "$16.50" Rather than pay what I thought was a highly inflated price, I decided to go to the post office, but was told to try the USPS annex at 19th and Carnelian by a friendly letter carrier who was unloading a mailbox. The annex charged me $9.69. Wow, UPS wanted 6 bucks profit on a 9 dollar charge. Last week, I gave the UPS Store another chance. I had an oversized envelope with a 49 cent stamp on it. I asked the clerk how much additional postage was needed, the clerk asked a woman with her back to me. She said "50 cents". I couldn't believe a slightly larger than normal envelope would come in at double the price. Off I went to the annex. 21 cents additional postage needed. So the UPS Store was going to charge 2 1/2 times the cost of the postage as a "fee". I won't be going back to this den of vipers. read more

Totally disrespected by the owner he took money for money order ,I got a receipt but for ups delivery charge only ,then when I returned for explanation he claims he has no way to find transaction for money order I paid cash for western union money order and ups lost the money order they and western union advised I return to store he's no help so good luck read more

I come here for all of my postal needs, I have yet to have a bad experience. The staff is always kind and helpful. I love how even through their busiest times that they always make an attempt to greet every customer walking through the door. I've been using the UPS store on 19th & Carnelian since July. Everyone is efficient when I come in to pick up packages. I like all the littles extras they offer, like cards, office supplies & faxing---which, by the way, you can get a discount if you're a AAA member. I used to frequent a UPS store in Washington state & they seem friendlier. Maybe it's just California. read more

My daughter sent two very important envelopes to two different businesses from this UPS Store. One a Graduate Application for a Masters Program and the other a Medical Certificate needed for a job she had expected. Neither made the destination and all Beth Baker could say was let me show you how we do this. They take the envelope, meter it and then place in a box in the general area where anyone could help themselves to wait for pick up. I am certain that no one would take it but your package could easily me taken sitting out in the open. Now we will have to wait until the envelope finds it way back to us. This is a very costly lesson for my daughter to use a receipt for something so important. Or she really should have used Fed Ex and had a signature of the person that accepts it. I used to use this place all the time but the cost was just getting too high for what we could get a few blocks down at the post office. The people are nice but incompetent at best. read more

I have used this place quite a few times, from mailing to notary service. I have not had any real complaints concerning there service until now. I went in and needed a document to arrive the next day by noon. They offered an 8:00 am or 10:00 rates. I chose the 10. They said it was guaranteed there at 10. Well, 10 came and went and the company on the other end of the delivery called me at 12 and said it had not arrived. It ended up there at 4 pm!. Now, I am not sure who's fault it was and I have to believe it had to do more with UPS than the actual store, but the response I received from the store was pretty lame. I know this probably happens more than most customers realize but that is no excuse for the cavalier attitude they had; It was like "well, these things happen". That is inexcusable because that is what your specialty is and the most important aspect of your business model. So, don't act like you forgot my receipt or something as minor as that. THEN, the disposition they took when we wanted the money we spent for the next day delivery was one of "it wasn't our fault"! Really, so who do I call? the driver, the UPS office that you represent? Just stupid customer service. Here's a suggestion, maybe take your responsibility and the service you offer a little more serious. read more
