This is my "go to" place for any and all things packages... They are quick, polite, helpful, patient and kind. Sal, in particular has always been super attentive and just naturally keeps the flow of things going. He is so courteous and genuine, that he makes you feel at ease every time he assists you. He will take his time and explain every detail and answer your questions as well. There is always parking up front and they are relatively quick in all aspects. I don't normally write these reviews. Very rude lady named Shirley picked up the phone when I called to inquire about a mail box. She abruptly cut me off almost immediately and didn't even let me finish my question. Even worse, I asked her about the rental fees for 6 months and she condescendingly replied "Well 6 by 28 whatever that is!" Are you kidding me?!! I run a business and I deal with people everyday and your uncivil phone manners are uncalled for. And even though I found out that your store offers the cheapest prices for what I am looking for, I will NOT buy your service and will instead pay an extra $50 to another vendor just to be treated in a professional manner. read more

I just had THE worst experience with Sheryl (or Cheryl) who works at the 2416 W. Victory Burbank, CA. I sent a package on 3/1. After it was not received & I realized I had misplaced the paperwork with the tracking number, I called the store simply to have them look it up for me so I could determine the status. This woman was EXTREMELY rude, told me if my package was that important to me, I would not have lost the slip, and had THE nastiest attitude ever! I was and am appalled! If I could give a minus rating I would. I admit, I forgot my mask when I went in the store. The woman that works there told me she needed me to put my mask on. I said ok, went to the car and got it and came back in. She gave me an attitude saying to everyone else in the store, "unbelievable", several times. I apologized for not having my mask and then she was nothing but rude. I gave her my phone number for the account and she couldn't find my info. Then she threw the paper for me to fill out and walked away. As I stood there starting to fill in the form I realized, I don't have to give this person my business. They are not all owned by the same people and I could give my business to someone who deserved it. So I took my box and left. I don't know if she had a bad day or what, but I did take responsibly for forgetting my mask and there was no reason to treat me that way. The first time I went to the store, I received great customer service. Sal helped me as much as possible; and I truly appreciate it. Unfortunately my document was not delivered on the promised date (It arrived 5 days later). I called a couple of times and I was never ever to get a hold of Sal; his wife Sharalyn kept answering. She was not assuming responsibility for the mailed document and kept blaming it on customs. Since I was not getting any help over the phone; I decided to go to the store. She didn't bother to help and told me to call 1 800 PICK UPS; I asked to speak to the manager that was on shift and she responded "I am the store owner, what do you need?". I asked her if it was possible for her to let Sal help me instead of her and she told me I had nothing to talk to her husband about. I left the store since I wasn't getting anything resolved.The next day I called and Sal answered; he offered himself to help by creating an investigation case and told me I was going to be contacted within two weeks. Three weeks after I walked into the store and she was there. My father had to ship a package to Sears and she did not accept the prepaid label we had. I tried asking her what was wrong with the label but she just told me to contact Sears. Well she walked away and I approached her in a polite manner asking her if she remembered me, she answered "Of course I remember your face" in a very rough tone. I told her I just wanted to know what had happened with the investigation, and she said they had not resolved anything and that I was causing trouble in her store. She asked me to leave the store and not come back since I would just cause trouble by stepping into her store. I felt discriminated and humiliated in front of all the customers. That day I called the corporate headquarters and reported her impolite behavior. Sharalyn Duval-Basset, the owner of this UPS Store location has very poor customer service, is extremely rude, arrogant, crude, and impolite with her customers. She gladly took my money but was not able to resolve my problem. All I can say is I am definitely never going back to that store! read more

I have maintained a small PO Box and received all my packages here for nearly three years, and the experience has been absolutely top-notch. I always go at the same time of day for pickup, so this is more of a "Sal" review since he's the only one I've ever interacted with! I can't vouch for or against any other employees. Sal, though, is *awesome.* Super friendly, quick and efficient, goes above and beyond in terms of customer service. I have received *well* over 100 packages here, probably closer to 200, and every visit has been fast, smooth, and pleasant. During the Christmas rush nightmare week a couple years ago, I had one, single hiccup with a package showing as being delivered but wasn't in the store. Mind you, the store was packed to the gills with towering stacks of boxes of every shape and size (Christmas, remember?), and Sal spent nearly an hour looking in every possible nook and cranny. Then he was on the phone with FedEx customer service. Then he was on the phone with Amazon. All while still helping and interacting with the long line of holiday shippers. Eventually discovered the problem wasn't with Sal or the UPS Store at all, but rather FedEx had marked the package delivered even though it was still rolling around on a truck somewhere. But the effort he put forth earned him a customer for life! I'd give 6 stars if I could. read more

I have been coming here for awhile now. The husband knows what he is doing and he is very helpful. On the other hand his wife is very rude. She missed place my packages a few times. Sometimes I have to come back twice for the package. I understand the nature of the business sometimes things happen. I have to close my account with this store now since this woman uses abusive words toward me. I simply asked,"what did you on a weekend?". She said, I was rude by asking her personal questions. If she didn't like the conversation about asking her weekend, she just make up something. I was there just to pick up my packages and I just don't want to stand without saying a word. The Old woman as so many other reviewer have referred (she is) to her as, is the worst business owners I have EVER Seen, I've seen her talking down to her employees and today she decided to try and reprimand me...!!! Bryan who works there is an awesome Person and Employee (I don't know why he works for her) I've know him for awhile...When I got there she was freaking out because her boxes hadn't been picked Up (I wonder why..??)...when she finally decided to acknowledge me, she said. I've been to this UPS location several times and always got decent service. The last two times I was "helped" by a short, young chubby man with glasses (didn't get his name) who has a bit of an attitude with customers, it's almost as if we were bothering him by coming there. Anyways, I went there to pick up a package from the GAP, when I placed the order with the GAP it including free shipping to home and the carrier was UPS. Because of porch pirates last year I thought it would be more secure and convenient to just pick up at the UPS location (the option showed up when checking out at GAP.com). So he finds my package, puts it on the scale and smugly tells me it's $5! I told him that the package includes free shipping and it's already been paid by the GAP, he tells me it's because I'm "using their address". You would think it would be cheaper for them since they don't have to deliver it to my home. Thankfully, the blond older lady with the purple sunglasses whom other reviewers have mentioned (I guess she's in some position of authority) waived the fee. She mentioned that every location charges a different amount which I thought was weird, don't they all work for the same company? Are they a franchise? Who knows! read more

Except maybe if they're we're price labels on the items, so you know how much the boxes and envelopes are prior to purchasing. I entered the store on a Thursday at 6:45 pm. Store closes at 7. There was one customer wraping a box, a driver loading a truck, and the only employee was scrolling on his phone. He asked what I needed and I told him I needed to wrap and ship the object I had in my hand. He told me I had to come back tomorrow. I asked, "Why? are you closed?" He said yes and that they opened at 8 am the next day. No you were not closed and it would not have taken 15 minutes to complete my transaction. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. We had big boxes and the woman working just stood there as we struggled to get through the door. Then after helping a man who came in after us she finally made time to help us. We said we each had one box going to separate addresses on separate credit cards. She gave us one sheet for three people. Once we were ready and had everything written out we double checked to make sure that we were paying separate and she started yelling at us that we were quiet and said nothing when we came in and she "had to assume what we wanted" while we were rewriting our sheets, and the line was getting longer she disappeared into the back and refused to come out. Then comes back out and helps the seven other people on line while completely ignoring us. I wish I had gone to a different store. I have never had a problem with UPS until today. Good enough for a drop-off to ship if you have everything printed and packaged and that is it. They don't open at 8am during the week. It is more like whenever someone feels like wandering in. He had the opportunity to sell me UPS expedited shipping, but instead educated me about my prepaid shipping label and saved me at least seven bucks. We came in to ship a treadmill which we purchased from Amazon and we're getting a work around from the sellers. They told us to take it in to a UPS store and they would sort out the rest. When we walked in they looked as though we were crazy to bring it in and that we should've just called a pick up service. They were right. However after taking a look at it and see our dire situation they took the package and helped us out more than words can describe. I cannot recommend the store and the owners enough. i just had a bad experienced at this ups location few minutes ago! first the person infront of me had a bigger box x100 bigger than mine and the person was able to put tapes around that box with no comment from the employee, next here comes me with a very small skinny box and i put tapes around it and was told comments about me putting excessive tapes and im wasting the tape! and he even had to waste time to say nonsense stuff..common!! i told him he could have said it in a nice way and dont be rude and he got mad and kept saying stuff again..i just kept my mouth closed then grab the tracking# and left!! read more

Went to drop off a package just now. Employee was assisting someone at the counter. I waited 6 feet away at the marked tape. The employee looked at me and asked if the box had a label and I said yes he said I could leave it there. I said to him I needed a receipt he said he didn't want handle it and I could go someplace else. So I said ok I will leave the package. But this employee refused to give me a receipt when he was standing one foot away from the lady at the counter and I was 6 feet away. What is wrong here?? He was servicing someone closer but refused to give a receipt he could have easily put down on the counter for me to grab or take a picture of. What kind of training and service are you offering in these trying times where your employee is picking and choosing who he gives service to. When I'm standing further away and he clearly has no issue being only one foot away from another customer he was helping. read more

I use my company shipping account for computer equipment and haven't used UPS in awhile because most locations stopped providing/accepting Waybills. To my surprise however, this store does!! I came in just to get a monitor packaged and when Sal informed me they take Waybills, I was able to bring in all my equipment for packaging and shipment. Sal took the time to explain how he was going to get everything together, packaged everything professionally and went over the costs in detail. All I had to do was fill out the Waybill forms and I was good to go. Everyone was very friendly and I wish more UPS stores were as efficient as they were. Thanks!! read more
