I needed to get fingerprinted for work, so they sent me downtown to the sheriff's office to get them done...however, I went during lunch and the person wouldn't be back for 1+ hr =[ So the nice lady said, " go to the ups store, they do livescans there, and its $5 cheaper"....As I was walking down to the UPS store I thought, man this lady better not be punking me! I walk in wait my turn, ask "do you do livescans here"...SCORE they do! No line to get a livescan, no messy ink, and if I needed to ship something, I could ;) and it was only $20 =] read more

If you are near LAX and need to ship something, you can fight traffic near the airport, struggle with parking, try to find and navigate something in on of the Hotels and have to tip, etc., or you can simply drive a couple miles to El Segundo. In the sleepy little old downtown, on Main street, is this friendly local UPS store. It has a couple of parking spaces in front, and about 4 more in the back. No traffic whizzing by at 40 MPH. Hardly any traffic. Relaxed, unhurried. Friendly service. Drop off a box before 3:30 and it will probably ship today. They have supplies, too. read more

I've visited this location MANY times and have always received EXCELLENT service! They go above and beyond to make your package secure, even if you ultimately decide to take the package to the post office for mailing. Today I came through with an item to return to Amazon but I didn't have the original box anymore. I just knew I'd need to buy a box. No problem, it's what I expected. Well, I told Peggy what I needed and she immediately went outside and got me a used box so that I didn't have to spend any money. Yeah, that saved me about $2-3, a small amount, but that's not the point. It's the amazing customer service with her going beyond what she really was required to do. I was looking for a quick notary service and the UPS Store was still open so I decided to call ahead to make sure the person who could perform the notary was still available. The guy at the UPS Store informed me that they did notary services until closing, and that it cost $10/signature. I went to the UPS Store, paid my $10 notary fee, and was in/out in less than 5mins. Overall, a very pleasant and straightforward experience. The staff at the UPS store was professional and courteous. I'd definitely go back again. read more

I use the El Segundo store one or twice a month, service has always been great. I had an 80 lb box that I was shipping back to the seller and needed help to get it into the store. The guy behind the counter came out right away a carried it in like it was nothing and took care of it. I like any place that will make my life easier! I had purchased my sis a birthday present and didn't have a box to mail it. So, I came here and the lady was so pleasant. She found a box, packaged the items and even put the peanuts (white foamy things) inside, so it wouldn't move all around. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Wasn't busy on a Monday morning. One of the easier UPS stores to get you packages from the car to the counter, parking in back there are reserved spots for UPS customers and it is only a couple of stairs to get you packages in the door, if you don't want to go up the stairs the front entrance is also available. I have been going there off and on for quite a while. Staff are always friendly and very helpful. One time, I had a return to Amazon and it was an odd size. They figured out a way to ship it back, without having to purchase some outrageous box. I have all my UPS shipments sent there, and never any issues. I've sent UPS and mail from there, never any issues. I have only had one notarization, but like anyplace else, you call to make sure the Notary is there and, again, no issues. I do agree with others, parking can be a hassle. Since it is near Rock and Brews, street parking can be difficult. There is a small lot behind, with a few spaces, and yes, it is a bit tight to maneuver. I try to go at non-peak hours, and have had good luck with the parking. read more

Unfortunately, I came in to do a live scan submittal at 5:30 pm. They stated that this service is 9 to 5. I wish they would put that on their website. I went to a UPS store at 6:00pm and they took me. The most unfortunate thing is the manager would not come out and speak to me. He answered my questions through a high school student. read more

The facility was clean and I've always have gotten professional service with The UPS Store .. but today I walked in this particular store to see three guys behind the counter .. one reading .. one with his back to the counter and the other one closest to when I walked in on the completely ignore me. The gentleman with his back turned to ask me for help while the other answered the phone , still facing me but no acknowledgement. Also didn't find his sagging pants professional. I lived in El Segundo for over 7 months on a job assignment. I can not say enough good things about the manager, Aaron, and his co-worker Bryan. They both went out of their way to help me each time I mailed boxes back home to my loved ones. They were truly compassionate towards the fact I was there alone with my family back in North Carolina. Their kindness, professionalism, and dedication to their positions at UPS was much appreciated and recognized. Normally I wouldn't write something like this, but these guys are being dishonest. I had to send my tax documents in (late due to waiting for receipt of one form) and I requested signature delivery. They did not tell me that due to the pandemic, signature delivery is no longer an actual signature delivery. I learned this when I checked for delivery confirmation and saw 'left at front desk' as the signature delivery confirmation. And now, my tax documents are missing. I called the UPS store and asked about the lack of signature and that is when the guy (who couldn't care any less about the problem they just created in my life...potential identity fraud if those docs are out there...which I have to address because even a 'just in case' has to be addressed) told me that signatures aren't actually being gathered for deliveries. Had they told me this when I paid for the signature service, I would have physically taken the documents to the accountant. And now, I am totally screwed. Thanks UPS Store, for CHARGING ME FOR A SERVICE THAT DOES NOT ACTUALLY EXIST and not bothering to share that important detail with me. You have caused tremendous stress and anxiety that shouldn't be happening right now. Bad way to do business, folks. read more

I had boycotted the USPS after a completely unpleasant experience at the Manhattan Beach USPS location. Came across this location during a search for FedEx and UPS services over three years ago. This location has both UPS and (pleasant) USPS services. I am always greeted with a smile. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I've dropped things off near closing time and I've never felt like I was inconveniencing anyone. They've helped me with copies, packages and mail. Thanks for making mail fun again! read more

I've been coming here on and off for years. The service was always great, but they went above and beyond. I shipped a package that I packed myself and unfortunately the recipient informed me that it was a broken. I called the 800 number for UPS and tried to file a claim by phone and then online and was told I needed to get some kind of number from the store. I went to the store the following day and was told that the store would file the claim for me and they did. It took about two weeks and I was kept informed and the claim was settled in my favor. This place is so impressive for their integrity and excellent customer service. I will use them for all my shipping needs! read more
