Store is a rip-off. Go to the UPS Store in the Home Depot Parking lot near Bundt Cakes (Bidwell St). That store was $4.30 cheaper today for the same package and delivery date. The store at 705 Bidwell by Raileys has it's own policies that differ from UPS and other franchise stores. Found this out today, and lame excuse from staff. Stay away and read the reviews from others on Yelp. read more

Me and my husband have had a consistent great experience here on multiple occasions. Even with a line, we were in and out. Cathy is very nice and efficient! The notary price is fair. Cecilia helped us notarize a document. We have done it a couple times here. We even got a coupon book with a free fax and free copies in it. We will be back. read more

My last two experiences at this store have been disappointing. I have gone with the intention of supporting a local business and in both cases have not gotten the service needed. In December I wanted to mail my Christmas boxes and had to leave because the woman could not answer basic questions about when they would be delivered, the different mailing options and the pricing. 8 days ago I brought my son in to return an amazon gift he received for Christmas. Over a week later my tracking number only says "label created." The kid just wants to buy another toy! I have called multiple times to inquire when it will be going out and have gotten several answers about box sizes and consolidations that make no sense. They can't answer simple questions with a straight answer once again. . I have never had a problem with Amazon returns. Both of my needs were basic transactions and the kind people who work there (yes they are very nice) aren't able to answer simple questions. Sadly, I won't be returning and won't be recommending. read more

I came in to ship out a package. Already had my shipping label printed out before arriving here. I forgot to take off the previous shipping lables on my box as I was going to use the same shipping box to return an item. The staff was really helpful as she suggested to use one of those clear sleeves to insert my new shipping label and placed it over the old shipping lables. I was very impressed as no other UPS stores has ever suggested to do that for me. Thank you so much!!! read more

Just went in for a notary service. The lady wrote the wrong date on my form and tried to fix it by writing over the wrong date. I had to tell her that won't work because the form can't have any mistakes on it. Luckily I was able to forward the necessary form to the store and after several attempts she was able to print it. Finally the form was filled out. I thought for sure there would be no charge after her screwing up my original form but I still paid the $10. Not very happy with the service. read more

The worst UPS store we've ever been to. I've been to them 3 times and finally decided never to go again, (I'll just go to the one on the other side of town). The employees at this location don't seem to want to help. The last time we went, we were treated quite rudely and they were going to charge us a LOT of money to pack a few items into a box with just a strip of bubble wrap. So we left and went to a different UPS store which immediately helped us, with a courteous attitude and charged us a reasonable price. The other two times before when we went to this location, they charged us the wrong price. Luckily, we had mailed similar envelopes from a different UPS store before, so we knew what the price should be and were able to correct the staff without paying the wrong amount. We will never go back to this dreadful store. They need some serious customer service training. read more

these guys are great. I've rented a box from this location for the past three years. I receive a lot of demo product from my company, and this UPS store takes great care of my packages, Always helpful to hold items for a few extra days if I cannot get there in time. The staff is always helpful, and they know me by name. The key is not to go in during busy hours like lunch time and right after 5 as any post-type business will be swamped. read more

The onwner of this franchise seems to think that he/she can ride with UPS name and doesn't give a damn. Just like everyone else has said in their review, all the employees are bitter, with NO customer service background. No one ever smiles or even goes out of his/her way to be kind to you. I did some business with this place, but have completely pulled out, and won't even buy a stamp from them. The attitude of the employees is a true reflection of the owner and since that's the case, I'll never step foot in this place and make sure others don't either. read more

Is it really so difficult to just greet someone when they walk into your place of business? Maybe treat them as if they are a paying customer? Never even got as much as an acknowledgment. 1 star is too much for this store. I had a package delivered there. They call me it is ready to be picked up. I go there waited a long time for my turn then the only person there could not find it. She tells me to wait so she can take care of the people behind me. What???? I waited my turn why cant they wait. I have to go to work (I get paid by the hour and loosing $ while she expects me to wait) and I cannot come back because I am flying out for a week I explained to her. She just dismissed me. Take care of your customers in order. I waited my turn why not have the others behind me wait. Is it because I was the only person there that is not white? read more

My daughter and I went this morning to get her passport photo. There was only one employee working and a long line. When it was our turn, she ushered us to the photo stool and asked us, in front of the other customers, if we would mind waiting while she helped the next person in line. Thinking it would be quick, and she'd come back to us after, we said okay. That order took awhile. When the employee finished, she started helping the next person in line?? I said, "Excuse me it's our turn." Taking the photos and ringing us up was a quick transaction. She apologized for the wait. I totally understand a wait with one employee working. My issue was her not helping customers in the order they were in line. And thinking it was okay to keep us waiting while she helped customers behind us with longer transactions. UPS know the store is busy at opening so staff accordingly. And don't make customers patiently waiting wait longer while you help customers behind them in line. read more

If you want to waste your time and sit there and not be acknowledge this is the place for you to go to. I want to while back and they were just open right when we got there when a worker were on the phone on a personal call and there was one visiting with someone. they tell me I would have to wait for what I needed to be done and that she had to turn on the computer system and it would take a while. system was on but somebody came in and she said she would help them first and that it would take a little bit of time. finally they were done in another person came in with four packages and they start talking in Spanish and they know each other and then I already knew I was completely forgotten about so I left and then they were yelling at me to come back so that they could get what I needed done for me but after waiting almost a half an hour no. went to the other UPS store and got it done in five minutes read more

THIS STORE IS TERRIBLE. If you are in Folsom and need to go to a UPS store, do NOT waste your time going here, go to one of the other 2 (there are 3 total in Folsom). They were trying to charge me $15.99 for a box that the other UPS Store charged me $4.59 for. They are SO BEHIND in the times and have you standing there filling out some dumb form when none of the other stores do that- everything is in the computer and is much faster. Besides that those who work there are incredibly rude and unfriendly. They seemed like i was an inconvenience to have to help. I asked the woman why it was going to cost me $30 to ship this item that I had shipped off before for $14 at the other UPS store. They are HORRIBLE. I left so mad and frustrated! I mentioned this to someone who worked at another UPS store and he said he has heard nothing but complaints about that store. Stay away! Hoping they close down! read more

Terrible customer service, Manager Cecilla rood and unprofessional to employees and customer. Found that they charge more for packaging then the other two UPS stores in Folsom. They said the USPS express service was the same as post office found it was five dollars more then USPS. They even charge .62 cents for a stamped meter mail instead of .48 cents but they will not tell you they charge more. Go to the other UPS stores in Folsom they are cheaper and have very good customer service. Also the Federal Express just a block away is a better place to ship from and do business with. I had to just leave after hearing how the manager talked to employees and how nasty she was to me when I tried to talk to her about the service I was receiving. NEVER GO BACK!!!! read more

THE RUDEST EMPLOYEES!! Second time in two weeks!! First time, I called to make sure of their address, and the smarta$$ said "Folsom" and thought he was funny! Second time was today (around 4:30) when I went to drop off a return. The item had been originally sent in a USPS Priority Mail box, but the company had sent me a return label that was UPS. I have never had a problem with this configuration but the girl there (blond with glasses) read me the riot act like I was doing something illegal and it was 'against postal regulations'! She didn't offer to repack it or any other suggestion but looked at me like I was about to commit a crime. I told her I had never heard of THAT and pick up my box and left. I put it back in my car and looked back in the store and the young (dark haired) boy was laughing at me! I mouthed "REALLY?? Well FU" (no gestures from me). At which point, he flipped me off!!!!! I went back in the store and said "Really?? You're flipping a customer off??" To which he said, "Well you mouthed FU!", and I said "YES!! But I don't WORK HERE!!!" I asked who the manager/ owner was and they wouldn't tell me! He pointed to his co-worker (the blond) like she was the manager! I asked her if she saw him flip me off? She just smirked and said nothing. Dear Manager/Owner.. If you have a camera in there, view it around 4:30 then GET RID OF THEM!! If I could give NO STARS I would! Going to the other Folsom store! I came here to send out several boxes to a family member on the east coast. Upon walking in, I was warmly greeted by 2 very nice female associates. They were very helpful on informing me of my options. The prices were not outrageous as I had expected. They had a me fill out a form with my address and where the package was going to. I have seen in other stores that they do not require this, but after being explained why they use these forms, I became a lot more comfortable with filling them out and knowing that what I wrote on the paper will for sure be on the label that gets printed out. I left feeling confident that my packages were in good hands. I highly recommend this store over some of the other UPS Stores. read more

Terrible customer service, manager rude, service poor and unknowledgeable workers will never go back to the Folsom UPS store. They told me to guarantee a deliver on the 11th for Christmas the 25th I would have to go first, second or third day delivery and pay double what ground cost and it was only going 150 miles away. Every time I come in to drop off a package or send one to another state they are always warm and welcoming with their greeting, "Hi, welcome to the ups store, how can I help you?" They immediately help me with any questions or concerns that I have. They have wonderful customer service and everyone who works there is awesome! read more

Terrible customer service and a total waste of time. I gave them all my mailing information, paid the bill and left. Shortly after I get a call on my cell phone that they can't deliver to PO Boxes. Well, they really should have mentioned that before having me fill out all the paperwork, charging me and making me drive back for my documents; and finally a refund. When I came back the service woman behind the counter decided to "school" me on that they can't deliver to PO Boxes and my address to the IRS was incomplete. I verified the address and tried to show her the addresses and mentioned I was following instructions and she sarcastically told me she was following HER instructions about PO Boxes. So, I asked for a refund and she handed me off to another employee. Later she made a passive aggressive statement to her two colleagues about, "it's been one of THOSE days with customers today". Never go here or get treated like crap. read more
