I use the UPS Store all the time as I'm a Traveling service technician. I always get great customer service. Well that was until today. This UPS STORE is very far behind the times. I have a UPS STORE Account, asked them to bring it up. They told me I have to fill out a form. All the other UPS Stores I go to, they look up my account, look up my ship to address, which is one I constantly use, and off I go. The employees tell me it's the Owners choice. This is poor customer service by UPS STORE standards. Then I shipped an overnight package at a UPS STORE in a different city. They employees tell me, you didn't send it from here. Really? It's UPS, go to the UPS tracking sight, scan the bar code, and get the update. Again, poor customer service. The owner of this UPS STORE really needs to get with technology, train his employees better, and then learn him/herself what actual customer service is. GREAT customer service at this location by both Dyson and Kenan (sp?) who stayed a few minutes late to work with me to figure out how best to ship my package without costing me an arm and a leg. It was Cinco de Mayo so I am sure they had better things to do than helping a flustered-me out! This is "my" UPS store and I haven't had a bad experience yet, but this was one great enough to write about! Thanks boys!!! Avoid this place at ALL costs. They have inconsistent service and are not accommodating when you know your package was delivered here but cannot take time to look for you. I came down after the USPS texted me my package had arrived, the lady blasted me for even trying to pick up my package because she hadn't logged it into the system. Well pardon me, I don't need a UPS Store if I cant pick up a package after it arrives. This has happened on more than one occasion so I had to write a bad review. A HUGE thank you to the staff at this UPS store for going out of their way to help us in a pinch--right before they closed for the day. We needed notary services, and although the store doesn't typically do notarized signatures after 5:30 PM, Elyse, the notary on site, made an extraordinarily helpful exception for us after sensing our urgent need for notary services. She assessed our documents, and saw to it that we got all the notarized signatures we needed. She was extremely thorough yet quick, professional, understanding, and polite. She even went above and beyond by scanning and emailing us copies of our signed documents so we didn't need to scan them on a phone. The young man working at the counter this evening was also very helpful and courteous even though he and Elyse had to stay an extra 15 minutes after closing just to help us! You might not expect a large franchise-type store like UPS to have "mom and pop" style customer service, but this UPS Store sure did, and it was very much appreciated! read more

Needing an important document notarized, I visited my local UPS store. There are two in my town, it seems I chose the wrong location as my experience was unbelievable! Upon arriving, there was one gentleman ahead of me in line. I noticed there was only one employee at the time. As the other employee apparently was on break. After the gentleman was helped the employee told me to go to the desk that she would be right with me. As I'm at the desk waiting for her to come over to notarize my paper another customer comes through the door with two large boxes. While I'm already at the desk waiting for my turn she instead helps this gentleman first?? Being in a hurry, I said I thought I was next. She replied saying she was the only one there and she needed to concentrate to notarize?? Apparently having someone in line makes her not to be able to concentrate?? Now another two customers come in, then another.... I'm thinking really? Am I gonna sit here all day for the store to be quiet so she can "concentrate"?? Thankfully her coworker returned from break, so I was finally able to get my notary done. I gave 2 stars, because at least I got it done. read more

Store is a rip-off. Go to the UPS Store in the Home Depot Parking lot near Bundt Cakes (Bidwell St). That store was $4.30 cheaper today for the same package and delivery date. The store at 705 Bidwell by Raileys has it's own policies that differ from UPS and other franchise stores. Found this out today, and lame excuse from staff. Stay away and read the reviews from others on Yelp. read more

Waited 45 minutes for the manager to tell me she could not mail my international package because she could not figure out how to type in a first and last name. Ended up going to the post office instead... The Post Office was actually a pleasant experience... Shocker! read more

Me and my husband have had a consistent great experience here on multiple occasions. Even with a line, we were in and out. Cathy is very nice and efficient! The notary price is fair. Cecilia helped us notarize a document. We have done it a couple times here. We even got a coupon book with a free fax and free copies in it. We will be back. read more

My last two experiences at this store have been disappointing. I have gone with the intention of supporting a local business and in both cases have not gotten the service needed. In December I wanted to mail my Christmas boxes and had to leave because the woman could not answer basic questions about when they would be delivered, the different mailing options and the pricing. 8 days ago I brought my son in to return an amazon gift he received for Christmas. Over a week later my tracking number only says "label created." The kid just wants to buy another toy! I have called multiple times to inquire when it will be going out and have gotten several answers about box sizes and consolidations that make no sense. They can't answer simple questions with a straight answer once again. . I have never had a problem with Amazon returns. Both of my needs were basic transactions and the kind people who work there (yes they are very nice) aren't able to answer simple questions. Sadly, I won't be returning and won't be recommending. read more

The worst UPS store we've ever been to. I've been to them 3 times and finally decided never to go again, (I'll just go to the one on the other side of town). The employees at this location don't seem to want to help. The last time we went, we were treated quite rudely and they were going to charge us a LOT of money to pack a few items into a box with just a strip of bubble wrap. So we left and went to a different UPS store which immediately helped us, with a courteous attitude and charged us a reasonable price. The other two times before when we went to this location, they charged us the wrong price. Luckily, we had mailed similar envelopes from a different UPS store before, so we knew what the price should be and were able to correct the staff without paying the wrong amount. We will never go back to this dreadful store. They need some serious customer service training. read more

these guys are great. I've rented a box from this location for the past three years. I receive a lot of demo product from my company, and this UPS store takes great care of my packages, Always helpful to hold items for a few extra days if I cannot get there in time. The staff is always helpful, and they know me by name. The key is not to go in during busy hours like lunch time and right after 5 as any post-type business will be swamped. read more

The onwner of this franchise seems to think that he/she can ride with UPS name and doesn't give a damn. Just like everyone else has said in their review, all the employees are bitter, with NO customer service background. No one ever smiles or even goes out of his/her way to be kind to you. I did some business with this place, but have completely pulled out, and won't even buy a stamp from them. Just went in for a notary service. The lady wrote the wrong date on my form and tried to fix it by writing over the wrong date. I had to tell her that won't work because the form can't have any mistakes on it. Luckily I was able to forward the necessary form to the store and after several attempts she was able to print it. Finally the form was filled out. I thought for sure there would be no charge after her screwing up my original form but I still paid the $10. Not very happy with the service. read more

1 star is too much for this store. I had a package delivered there. They call me it is ready to be picked up. I go there waited a long time for my turn then the only person there could not find it. She tells me to wait so she can take care of the people behind me. What???? I waited my turn why cant they wait. I have to go to work (I get paid by the hour and loosing $ while she expects me to wait) and I cannot come back because I am flying out for a week I explained to her. She just dismissed me. I came in to ship out a package. Already had my shipping label printed out before arriving here. I forgot to take off the previous shipping lables on my box as I was going to use the same shipping box to return an item. The staff was really helpful as she suggested to use one of those clear sleeves to insert my new shipping label and placed it over the old shipping lables. I was very impressed as no other UPS stores has ever suggested to do that for me. Thank you so much!!! read more

My daughter and I went this morning to get her passport photo. There was only one employee working and a long line. When it was our turn, she ushered us to the photo stool and asked us, in front of the other customers, if we would mind waiting while she helped the next person in line. Thinking it would be quick, and she'd come back to us after, we said okay. That order took awhile. When the employee finished, she started helping the next person in line?? I said, "Excuse me it's our turn." Taking the photos and ringing us up was a quick transaction. She apologized for the wait. I totally understand a wait with one employee working. My issue was her not helping customers in the order they were in line. And thinking it was okay to keep us waiting while she helped customers behind us with longer transactions. UPS know the store is busy at opening so staff accordingly. And don't make customers patiently waiting wait longer while you help customers behind them in line. read more

If you want to waste your time and sit there and not be acknowledge this is the place for you to go to. I want to while back and they were just open right when we got there when a worker were on the phone on a personal call and there was one visiting with someone. they tell me I would have to wait for what I needed to be done and that she had to turn on the computer system and it would take a while. system was on but somebody came in and she said she would help them first and that it would take a little bit of time. finally they were done in another person came in with four packages and they start talking in Spanish and they know each other and then I already knew I was completely forgotten about so I left and then they were yelling at me to come back so that they could get what I needed done for me but after waiting almost a half an hour no. went to the other UPS store and got it done in five minutes read more
