I had to argue with your rep for several minutes before I was "allowed" to do what I have done at NUMEROUS other UPS Stores with no hesitation from the employees. Stop patronizing me and fix your damn attitudes. Also, I've seen you call every altercation in these reviews a misunderstanding. These aren't misunderstandings, at least on our parts. Your employees are dictating these things as if they are company policy, not trying to explain that these things are easier or more convenient. Your employee in no uncertain terms told me they would "allow" this just this one time but next time I would need a box or have them be individual returns. They did NOT explain that this was "more convenient" nor was it phrased as a helpful tip. They said to me that they "have a right to refuse any package" and this was required. Whether this is actually the case notwithstanding, this demonstrates that if this was a misunderstanding, it's your employee's, not mine. All of your reasons to separate these returns are not things I care about. I've never forgotten an item in a return. The way you package the returns yourselves is of absolutely no concern to me, and if you have problems with the way they're package or tracked, and I reiterate, take that up with corporate or Amazon; that is not my problem. If your employee actually presented this as a tip or cordially said "Hey, this would help us out" instead of being condescending and stating these things as if they were fact, maybe I would have considered it. Don't even try to say that they did. I'll be forwarding this as a complaint to corporate and hopefully this unprofessional behavior ends. P.S. The parking bit was a joke. read more

Taped it on your own.....I packed the water dispenser, I drove it to your location, I carried it into your store, I had the slip printed out, I waited in line while the manager made errors on two customers that were in front of me (Since were only two people there I'm assuming the tall male was the "Manager"). I told her that wasn't my responsibility and she told me that she was doing me a favor. How is that a favor? Putting tape on the box is literally the only service she provided. She wouldn't have to load it into a truck or deliver it anywhere.I know it's a large return, but once I bring it into the store and you give me my receipt, it's no longer my problem. Also, to make comments to me in front of your line of 5 customers is even worse. I understand that sometimes people are having a bad day, but this was ridiculous. This location should be happy that amazon allows us to do return with them, if it wasn't for that I'm pretty sure not many people would need to go. Absolutely horrible!!! I have never been to an establishment that disrespects women more than this UPS store. Here's the story: I had two women in front of me in line. The first was an older woman with a large package. The man working, told her that she didn't have the proper information for him to be able to send the package. She asked if she could leave the package with him while she went to collect the necessary information. He said no and referenced an empty hallway (obviously had space) as an excuse for why he couldn't store her package. Now again, this was a large package and a little old lady. He made her take it back! The second woman in line had a UPS package and two USPS envelopes. The same employee refused the USPS envelopes for the same empty hallway no room excuse. Now I have been to a few UPS stores and they have all accepted USPS packages with the disclaimer that they can't provide tracking. Me, as a white male, was able to have my QR code scanned and Amazon package handled with no extra attitude or conversation. Tell me that's not misogynistic. read more

I brought a package that was wrapped tightly containing some cables and a credit device to be returned. Without telling me the costs, they packed my items in a box that they charged me $6.75 for and another 2.50 for a piece of tape and another $2.00 to put my package in the box. I was told that it would be $23 something so when I got my receipt and it totaled over $35 I was shocked. The woman did not mention anything about the extra charges before I paid. When I asked for a return they made me wait in line again only to refuse my request. They said I could talk to the manager but continued to help customers while I waited. I started to talk over them after being ignored and demanded to talk to a manager, who they finally put me on the phone with. Speaking with him he told me I needed to watch my language and threatened to call the police saying that the employees felt threatened. This forced me to leave the store and call the non-emergency police myself. I never threatened anyone, and although I raised my voice it was only to exclaim that they are not complying with basic business practices by charging people without listing the prices or at least verbally stating the exorbitant prices, and getting an agreement BEFORE charging the customer. I waited in the parking lot until the police arrived who managed to get me a refund for the box and packing charges, but I was still charged the $23 for shipping a package that never left the building. So now I have to call UPS/my CC company to dispute the charge. The irony of this is that I might have accepted the ~$11 in extra charges if they told me first. Instead I waste a couple extra hours because of a dishonest business owner who clearly gouges his customers, and refuses to refund them even seconds after the receipt is given to the customer Update: I took the contents of my package to FedEx. They allow you to pick your packaging. I bought a padded envelope for $2 and shipped my product for $14 (total). It also arrived 1 day earlier than the UPS ship date. WOW I cannot believe the poor service I received at this UPS location do not trust them with your package. I walked into this location to ship a package and could not believe how incompetent the workers were. First off, the entire joint reeks of the devil's lettuce (good Christian man here). Secondly, they ended up shipping my package right back to my house when it was supposed to go to my wife in Arkansas. That's right, I PAID THEM TO SHIP MY PACKAGE BACK TO MY HOUSE 1.5 MILES AWAY AND IT ARRIVED BROKEN. The heavyset worker at the front desk couldn't put down his Diet Coke and fat burger for 2 seconds to listen to my instructions. And finally, the icing on the cake. I spoke with the manager who was a very unpleasant non-English speaking woman who told me I was wrong and that I broke the package myself. Came here with three Amazon return items with a QR code Amazon provided (which includes three items), the worker scanned the barcode, and told me I needed separate QR codes for other two items! She then started scolding me for having three times for one QR code and telling me to cancel my return and create QR code for each item. I'm sorry you can't work efficiently. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS STORE AS YOUR PACKAGE PICKUP LOCATION. I WILL GIVE ZERO STAR IF POSSIBLE, HOWEVER ONE STAR IS THE LOWEST. Here are the reasons. These following things are actually happened to me. I suppose to get a package on Wednesday 12/06/2023. I was at home all day, the delivery man left a note and did not knocked at my door. Then I just checked and changed my package to a pickup at this location. On Thursday 12/07/2023, in the morning, I have received a message said my package cannot be picked up by my self. As tried to talk with some agents via live chat on UPS website, I have founded that my package is going to return to the sender in Florida. Live chat agents did not helping at all. Finally, a supervisor got involved and tried to solve the problem. The supervisor tried and told me that he just confirmed my package is somewhere in a trailer at UPS warehouse in Irvine, and someone at warehouse will find the package and call me back ASAP. By the way, the reason that package is at the trailer because it is going back to the sender, this UPS pickup access point said their inventory is full and no space to receive my package. As a result, my package is returning to the sender. This is ridiculous! I tried to call this UPS store and the representative at front-desk here were lied to me, said that they didn't saw any my packages arrived here. Not surprisingly, my package is on the way returning to Florida. All these are due to UPS workers in this store, what a bunch of idiots! You guys really did a good job! Such an unhelpful, incompetent staff at this UPS location. They charged us in error for shipping supplies for an Amazon return despite the item being a "no box, no label" required return. I disputed the charge and after a week of non response received a very professional email that stated, "sure, we can give you store credit thanks" in regard to my refund request. Unsatisfied as I do not shop at UPS and have no need for a credit, I called in and spoke with the store manager, Sue, who said "we're the UPS store, not UPS" which apparently also means "we don't do refunds". She was exceptionally rude, continued to talk over me, and flat out refused to let me escalate this concern with her manager saying she "didn't have one". She wouldn't tell me the name of the person she reports to or the name of the store owner. Apparently Sue owns all of UPS.. who knew! Anyway, I would literally drive to any other store in the area to avoid working with them. I filed a card dispute for the amount charged since she flat out refused another refund option and refused to provide alternative compensation and/or a way to escalate this concern. read more

Went in for a padded envelope to mail a pre labeled time sensitive package. Simple right ?! Looking past the ridiculous price of $3.99 for what I usually get for a dollar cheaper elsewhere, I pulled out $5 and headed to the register. Cashier had the gall to ask me "Can I keep it all?" I like using the ups store instead of the postal services since the lines are usually shorter and the locations are more convenient. I had just been to this store to mail some letters two days ago priced at $1 without tracking or $7 with tracking. Today I came back to mail another letter and was serviced by izabule (sp?). Right out of the gate she quoted that this is a ups store not post office and the cheapest shipping method was $12 through the UPS. I went ahead and mentioned that I was just here two days ago and was offered cheaper alternatives she quickly changed her tune. I mean come on it's not even that much money. I am not surprise that this place has only a 2 star rating! I went to this place 3 times in 3 different days! Just to drop off my packages which they are already labeled and I don't even asked for the receipt.
