The worst customer service experience I have ever had! I sent a package to this location, Nancy signed for it, then gave it back to the driver without updating the system. I still do not have this package 7 days later! When I came to the store to pick up the package, I asked Nancy why she gave it back to the driver, she said it was because I didn't rent a mailbox from this store and their policy didn't allow it. When I told her no one told us this was a requirement, she said there was nothing she could do and gave me a 1-800 number to call. I still don't know where the package is and have no idea when I will get it. Interestingly enough the sending location said they have never heard of the "mailbox" requirement for a package to be received...in addition, policy says Nancy was supposed to update the system as to why she received the package but then gave it back to the driver but she never did. They also tried to tell me the package never came...until them I showed the alert that Nancy signed for it. Sad part is....the saga is on going! read more

The female clerk at this location was not friendly and said inappropriate things to me. My boss ordered Amazon gifts for her family. They canceled the trip. I brought 19 of those gifts to return. Obviously this clerk was annoyed and let me know so. She said to me: "your boss is abusing Amazon policy and you are enabling her. You need to take away her credit card. You need to buy a roll of tape to seal these packages and an envelope for this one in the clear bag." I was as nice as I could be but telling her how stressful she was making the situation. I've had my PO Box with this location for 5 years now and I'm very happy with their service. The owners and employees are all very friendly and helpful, usually greeting you by first name with a smile. They've always been more than accommodating and offer a variety of helpful services. It gets busy sometimes later in the day, occasionally there's a line out the door, so avoid the 5 o'clock rush if you can! This UPS location is a life saver! Nancy and Sue are the few employees that assist me every time I stop by to drop off Spectrum/AT&T/Cox equipment. I work with a company who furnishes apartments and I deal with returning Internet equipment at the end of our leases. I bring all the equipment to this UPS location and they take care of it with ease. I've been coming here so much we've worked a system where if I have a large amount of equipment to return I'll come in the morning and do a drop off and they'll call me once the a paper work is ready. Run! Do not walk from this store. I tried to mail a smaller than a shoe sized box, with an item less than 1lb. It wasn't fragile. It wasn't a liquid. It wasn't hazardous. It was a value of less than $30. The female clerk with the dark hair knew all of this and tried to charge me $185 to ship it to Florida. She tried to sell me on how the item needed to be hand carried. When I refused and asked for simple UPS ground her next push was $40 by Friday. $40?! That's a scam. I told her usps is obviously the cheapest and another ups store I hold a P.O. Box with is $8 at worst. Note: the item I was attempting to ship was a return and the original shipping of the item to me was $4.58! The dark haired female clerk then told me to disregard online calculations on the UPS site. The staff seems overly authoritative, and they tend to charge for EVERY LITTLE THING!!! Even simple requests, like borrowing a pen or tape, come with unexpected fees. It's quite frustrating. Absolutely shocked at UPS!!! I have had an account with them for over 2 years now. Walk into this location to return an Amazon package. It's in a box. Yet missing a 5" piece of tape to seal it. That 5" of tape may have cost me $5. But one star for this location. I have done many Amazon returns and was never treated or asked to tape it. Adding response to owner as an update, too, for visibility: Without any problem? Are you serious? I had to argue with your rep for several minutes before I was "allowed" to do what I have done at NUMEROUS other UPS Stores with no hesitation from the employees. Stop patronizing me and fix your damn attitudes. Also, I've seen you call every altercation in these reviews a misunderstanding. These aren't misunderstandings, at least on our parts. Your employees are dictating these things as if they are company policy, not trying to explain that these things are easier or more convenient. Your employee in no uncertain terms told me they would "allow" this just this one time but next time I would need a box or have them be individual returns. They did NOT explain that this was "more convenient" nor was it phrased as a helpful tip. They said to me that they "have a right to refuse any package" and this was required. Whether this is actually the case notwithstanding, this demonstrates that if this was a misunderstanding, it's your employee's, not mine. All of your reasons to separate these returns are not things I care about. I've never forgotten an item in a return. The way you package the returns yourselves is of absolutely no concern to me, and if you have problems with the way they're package or tracked, and I reiterate, take that up with corporate or Amazon; that is not my problem. If your employee actually presented this as a tip or cordially said "Hey, this would help us out" instead of being condescending and stating these things as if they were fact, maybe I would have considered it. Don't even try to say that they did. I'll be forwarding this as a complaint to corporate and hopefully this unprofessional behavior ends. P.S. The parking bit was a joke. read more
