I don't know why I went back to this horrible location after my first horrible experience. But I thought maybe that was just a fluke and gave them another chance. I had $10 in my cashapp card and the computer tried to authorize $20 (which is the Max usage they authorize to use their computer) which I didn't have in the card. But my $10 still got taken. it's been over a week and my money is still not back my card. They told me it would be back on my card in a few business days and it's still not back. Not to mention I still paid for my pages to be printed. Even though I was charged $10 for nothing because I literally swiped the card to use their computer and it didn't go through so I couldn't even use the computer but it still charged me $10 like what?????!!!!!!! If I could give this place 0 or negative stars I would! Very unprofessional. Here is the full story in details. It was all good at the beginning, I was trying to ship my friend's items, I took an envelop and put everything in it, the lady asked what I was shipping I showed her and she recommended a box since the items are fragile, I said sure and we added two packing plastics to protect them from damage... We started the process, I asked for 2days shipment, I was quoted $50ish, the box was 8x8x8 and less than 3lb, I called my friend since she was paying to ship her items... I asked what about regular shipment the lady quoted $33ish, my friend asked if I boxed it or did an envelope, I said box she asked to send it in an envelope... I asked if I can do that the lady said we already boxed it. I am like ok, I will buy the box and redo it with an envelope what will be the shipment total? The lady said it will be the same!!!! (No way it will be the same, I have shipped items before and there is a difference! It was a lie but I didn't say a thing) So I sent what they told me to my friend, and a line formed. I said I will just pay for the box for now and wait and see what my friend says and you can help the line I don't wanna make people wait, before I stepped away from the register I got a reply to just proceed with the regular shipment, I told the lady ok we are good to ship it, the lady goes I already hit cancel I have to redo everything, I apologized. The lady gets frustrated and goes we will charge you for the box and sends me to the little girl that works there and I was like but I still wanna ship it, she goes well the guy that picks the packages is here so the dates will be different I am like ok! (Like WTH it doesn't matter ship the item, that was my request!!!!) The girl processed the box payment, and took the box back to the lady and she told her give it to her, the girl hand me the box and goes that was it, thank you!!!! (IS THIS A JOKE?!!!) Very rude and very unprofessional, I was so shocked by their way of handling the situation. If you don't have patient and can't tolerate indecisive customers you shouldn't be running a business. Also, my friend ended up getting the shipping label online for only $12ish and I just dropped it off at a different location. RIP OFF! What a ridiculous place. I went in merely to drop off a Wi-Fi / modem box, but was thoroughly impressed by the impeccability and cleanliness of this UPS store. Normally these types of stores have boxes everywhere, dirty counters, black marks, loose packaging and trash all over. This store, on the other hand, was clean. All the boxes were nicely stacked if taped. If not yet folded, hundreds of flat boxes were perfectly stored and sorted in their respective compartments. The greeting cards were straight and aligned, the pens, tape, folders, envelopes were all perfectly situated in their spot and the floor was clean. A highly organized place means your shipments are going to be highly organized too. Good place. read more

I paid for overnight shipping and it got delayed for a month. They tried to help me by filing the insurance claims incorrectly 3 times. Then I lose the claim and my money. I provided them all the information and still, the claim was inaccurately reported. Avoid this ups store if you are looking for getting your shipments on time or money back. I go to the one just a mile or so away for years and never had issues. Look for more experienced business who will guarantee good customer service. It was just so disappointing to have this go on for 3 whole months over 1 package. The manager even tried to intimidate me to drop the claims. It's a mess. Stay away. read more

Ups workers here are nice, but that's about it. I brought items to get boxed up and weighed here. I have a company ups account to use, but they went on to explain how they can't apply my ups account and take on some sort of risk. Whatever. They welcomed me to use their customer computer on the side to print my own label on my ups account, so I attempted. This computer charges you by the minute to use it, which is a first I've ever seen at any ups store, but ok, sure. I get the business hustle/nickel & dime you set up , I guess. Problem was: Their internet sucks so the label wouldn't even load to print! Got charged to use a computer that couldn't even print my label.. I ended up paying for just the ups box with my items in it that I couldn't even ship out here on my account. At the end of my experience, I had to also ask them to at least tape up the box, since they didn't offer. *eye roll* This ups store compared to others I've been to was a complete waste of time!!! I suggest going elsewhere. I should've known better seeing the poor stars rating on this particular store, but thought I'd give it a try since it's supposed to be just one easy shipment. If I could give this UPS zero stars, or negative stars, I would! The absolute worst service I have ever encountered! Every single person in the store was so severely unhelpful, I was apalled. I will never ever be coming back to the store again and I encourage you to find another UPS to go to, because this one is the absolute WORST. All I wanted to do was ship a package. I already paid for the label. They told me I needed to pay again to have it printed. I asked them to tape it to the box, they wouldn't tape it to the box. Rude and unhelpful. What else do you need to hear? I came in with a product needing to be returned to the manufacturer. They told me it didn't need to be packed, I just needed to print the return label (which I did) and some instructions for UPS to find the manufacturer's account in their system (which I handed over to the UPS rep). "YOU NEED A BOX. I CAN SELL YOU A BOX" is what they kept repeating, despite me politely saying that I was told that wasn't the case. This was a large item so a box would have been expensive. And besides, you don't need to be rude to me dude. In case you forgot, you are literally getting paid to help me, the customer. Thankfully UPS has about a million locations so I went to a different one in Irvine and guess what? They looked up the manufacturer's account on their computer and gladly got the item away from my hands. Not a single question asked. Will not return to this location. read more

I wanted to print an Amazon label for return, she charged me $3.50 for 1 page and I had the original packaging to go back and she said she needs to sell me another one for $3 and I walked out. I don't know how this place is still in business compared to other UPS stores. Spare ur self money and time, go to another store. when I'm in Irvine I go to the one on Alton and Jeffery and today I went there after this place and they said they charge $1.25 for the page and got the package and said this can be sent as is. Huge difference between two stores. UPS just shouldn't give franchises to anyone who's dishonest. Response to you is yes I did ask to have the form printed and in other uPS stores they do it for one third of the cost. The package wasn't damaged as the UPS store on Alton and Jeffery said it was fine and didn't need to be repacked . I was wearing a cloth mask and this store did not give me service because it was not the exact type of mask they wanted. Be warned. They will make you pay for a certain type of mask if they don't like the one you're wearing. I did not know UPS was individually owned until this event and I will never be returning to this UPS again because the owner is trying to make a profit off of COVID and people not wearing whatever mask they deem appropriate. read more

Policy is black and white. Do not try to impose a false policy. You can make suggestions, but not force me to buy a box you sell. The item was defective. Your examples are not the same as my situation. Another customer refusing to buy extra insurance on a $1500 laptop is idiotic. Lightbulbs - fragile items are a no -brained. Use common sense. I followed Amazon return policy. You made my experience an inconvenience and waste of time -- an exercise in frustration. FYI I was a UPS clerk in College. I know what is a valid shipping package. Other UPS shippers will box multiple items in a large container to ship back to Amazon returns. Separation of item item in bags and labels. Sorry you have had bad experiences and educating your customers is key to success. AND train your employees to have more effective communication. This location is awful, service is not great. They only have one person working the counter on any given day ( pre and post covid) and they aren't always pleasant.
