I rarely leave reviews but this situation just annoyed me so much I have a small business and I normally go to a UPS in Santa Ana consistently and have gone to other UPS occasionally when I happen to be closer so that's why I decided to come to this UPS I was helped by a women named nancy and I have never been asked so many questions for one of the questions she got my package and shook it a couple of times and asked me if I was sure that it was packaged properly anyways I could've gotten past all her questions I didn't really care but seemed a bit odd since this has never happened before but the cherry on the top was when she searched up the address and I was shipping to a address in Costa Mesa and my website gives me a estimated UPS cost and the estimated cost was around $12 so I was expecting something around that for regular ground she starts saying that it's showing her prices of $70 $60 and $50 dollars and then she said that the best price she could do was something around $30 I just took my box and left at that point cause I knew there was no way it could be that much considering it's in Costa Mesa and its regular ground I went to the UPS I normally go to and it was 12.79 I'm not sure what happened there but the whole situation was odd and frustrating as you can see in the picture that's todays date from the UPS I normally go to so I have no idea how she got all those different prices read more

Went to this place to drop off a rental tux for return. Box was slightly dented, but closed and worked just fine, (keep in mind UPS is the one who dented it to begin with). Refused to take my closed and in-tact box, with shipping label already attached. INSTEAD, they tried to get me to purchase a new box, new tape, and new shipping label on my dime. I asked them for a written message so I can get a reimbursement from UPS for whatever I buy (because they store is independently owned) and they stepped back from the counter refusing, as if I just asked them to empty their register. I'm pretty sure I over-reacted after that because all I could see was red at that point. This was the THIRD time they tried to pull this nonsense on me... luckily the other two times I convinced them to just take the stupid box. One time they tried to tell me "oh we can't ship this because it is too valuable". It was an Amazon return for an LG monitor, again with the shipping label already attached. This place is a complete scam. Went to the UPS store near UCI and had no problem sending my package. Do yourself a favor and start there Went to another UPS and had LITERALLY ZERO argument from anyone. I swear this place tries to scam you into buying new boxes. I don't know why I went back to this horrible location after my first horrible experience. But I thought maybe that was just a fluke and gave them another chance. I had $10 in my cashapp card and the computer tried to authorize $20 (which is the Max usage they authorize to use their computer) which I didn't have in the card. But my $10 still got taken. it's been over a week and my money is still not back my card. They told me it would be back on my card in a few business days and it's still not back. Not to mention I still paid for my pages to be printed. Even though I was charged $10 for nothing because I literally swiped the card to use their computer and it didn't go through so I couldn't even use the computer but it still charged me $10 like what?????!!!!!!! If I could give this place 0 or negative stars I would! Very unprofessional. Here is the full story in details. It was all good at the beginning, I was trying to ship my friend's items, I took an envelop and put everything in it, the lady asked what I was shipping I showed her and she recommended a box since the items are fragile, I said sure and we added two packing plastics to protect them from damage... We started the process, I asked for 2days shipment, I was quoted $50ish, the box was 8x8x8 and less than 3lb, I called my friend since she was paying to ship her items... I asked what about regular shipment the lady quoted $33ish, my friend asked if I boxed it or did an envelope, I said box she asked to send it in an envelope... I asked if I can do that the lady said we already boxed it. I am like ok, I will buy the box and redo it with an envelope what will be the shipment total? The lady said it will be the same!!!! (No way it will be the same, I have shipped items before and there is a difference! It was a lie but I didn't say a thing) So I sent what they told me to my friend, and a line formed. I said I will just pay for the box for now and wait and see what my friend says and you can help the line I don't wanna make people wait, before I stepped away from the register I got a reply to just proceed with the regular shipment, I told the lady ok we are good to ship it, the lady goes I already hit cancel I have to redo everything, I apologized. The lady gets frustrated and goes we will charge you for the box and sends me to the little girl that works there and I was like but I still wanna ship it, she goes well the guy that picks the packages is here so the dates will be different I am like ok! (Like WTH it doesn't matter ship the item, that was my request!!!!) The girl processed the box payment, and took the box back to the lady and she told her give it to her, the girl hand me the box and goes that was it, thank you!!!! (IS THIS A JOKE?!!!) Very rude and very unprofessional, I was so shocked by their way of handling the situation. If you don't have patient and can't tolerate indecisive customers you shouldn't be running a business. Also, my friend ended up getting the shipping label online for only $12ish and I just dropped it off at a different location. RIP OFF! What a ridiculous place. I went in merely to drop off a Wi-Fi / modem box, but was thoroughly impressed by the impeccability and cleanliness of this UPS store. Normally these types of stores have boxes everywhere, dirty counters, black marks, loose packaging and trash all over. This store, on the other hand, was clean. All the boxes were nicely stacked if taped. If not yet folded, hundreds of flat boxes were perfectly stored and sorted in their respective compartments. The greeting cards were straight and aligned, the pens, tape, folders, envelopes were all perfectly situated in their spot and the floor was clean. A highly organized place means your shipments are going to be highly organized too. Good place. read more

Ups workers here are nice, but that's about it. I brought items to get boxed up and weighed here. I have a company ups account to use, but they went on to explain how they can't apply my ups account and take on some sort of risk. Whatever. They welcomed me to use their customer computer on the side to print my own label on my ups account, so I attempted. This computer charges you by the minute to use it, which is a first I've ever seen at any ups store, but ok, sure. I get the business hustle/nickel & dime you set up , I guess. Problem was: Their internet sucks so the label wouldn't even load to print! Got charged to use a computer that couldn't even print my label.. I ended up paying for just the ups box with my items in it that I couldn't even ship out here on my account. At the end of my experience, I had to also ask them to at least tape up the box, since they didn't offer. *eye roll* This ups store compared to others I've been to was a complete waste of time!!! I suggest going elsewhere. I should've known better seeing the poor stars rating on this particular store, but thought I'd give it a try since it's supposed to be just one easy shipment. I paid for overnight shipping and it got delayed for a month. They tried to help me by filing the insurance claims incorrectly 3 times. Then I lose the claim and my money. I provided them all the information and still, the claim was inaccurately reported. Avoid this ups store if you are looking for getting your shipments on time or money back. I go to the one just a mile or so away for years and never had issues. Look for more experienced business who will guarantee good customer service. It was just so disappointing to have this go on for 3 whole months over 1 package. The manager even tried to intimidate me to drop the claims. It's a mess. Stay away. read more

I will never ever be coming back to the store again and I encourage you to find another UPS to go to, because this one is the absolute WORST. All I wanted to do was ship a package. I already paid for the label. They told me I needed to pay again to have it printed. I asked them to tape it to the box, they wouldn't tape it to the box.
