Affixed the return label to my return in the cellophane bag. Walked my packaged and labeled return to the front counter, ahead of the long customer line, and placed in the returns bin next to the counter. All of this done in 3-4mins. Excellent visit. I went in to return two Amazon items. For one, I had already packaged it and printed the label myself. For the other, I used the QR code option where the store prints and packages it for you. I only received one receipt, but I assumed it was because of the difference in return methods, so I didn't think much of it at the time. A few days later, I noticed I had only received a refund for one item--the one where they scanned the QR code and packaged it. I called the store to check on the second return. The person I spoke with was kind, but I felt like I wasn't getting a clear answer. She advised me to file a claim with UPS, which I did, only to find out that there was no record of the package at all--it had never been scanned into the system. That tells me the package was likely misplaced before it ever left the store. Also no manager was able to help with this situation which is frustrating because I did what I was supposed to do, drop off at a UPS store. I understand mistakes happen, but I was ultimately told there was nothing they could do and that I should contact Amazon for a refund. I hope the store takes extra care to ensure that all returns are properly scanned and that every customer receives a receipt for each package, regardless of the return method. It might also help to have more staff because every time I visit, there are usually only two employees working with a long line, which might be the reason my package was not properly taken care of. RESPONSE TO "OWNER": I dropped off two return packages at your location on the same day but only received a receipt for one of them. The tracking number I provided was the one I received -- for the package that was scanned and returned properly. The second package was never scanned, and I was never given a receipt for it. That's precisely the issue. I did everything I was supposed to do: I brought both packages to your store and handed them over at the counter. So if one package was processed and the other was not, that indicates it was misplaced at your location -- not an error on my part. I even asked if the cameras could be checked, but was told that wasn't possible. I don't need a receipt thanks to Amazon solving the issue and being able to refund me the money that was due to your fault, UPS. It's important to recognize that this was not a case of an incorrect tracking number or failure to drop off the package. The mistake happened after I left it in your care. The owner changed their response twice to my review -- the first was unbelievably rude and inconsiderate, and while I appreciate the second response being a bit more respectful, I can't help but find it unprofessional that two people responded so differently to my negative experience at this UPS store. read more

They state that they need packaging and offer to sell it to them, they then proceed to tell people they cant accept their packaging and need to purchase packaging . Jen the GM didnt realize people are catching on to them trying to upsell their own products by rejecting everything they can for whatever policy she stated their franchise owner made up. I followed delivery progress on my laptop, and sure enough I was notified that the product was delivered. It was delivered an hour late to the WRONG ADDRESS with a blurry picture that would not allow me to figure out the house number or even the street. So, buyer beware whenever using UPS. For the first time ever a ups employee turned away my returns. I will be going to a different UPS store tomorrow. I have 3 returns all boxed. The girl that helped had glasses on and appeared of Asian decente. She said my boxed items had to be placed in yet another box. She sated my items where to be resold and I wouldn't get my full refund if she accepted them. This is untrue. My returns where damaged and instructions stated no box or label needed. I had bar codes. The only reason it's a 1 star is because I can't go lower. My sister and I were doing an Amazon return and as soon as we walked in Larry had rudely told us to use the kiosk and get in line. As my sister walked over he shouted in a rude manner that we needed disassemble the piece but, if he would have let us explain he would have known that we needed a man's help because it was to tight for either one of us to undo. So we had to carry it all the way back out and ask the gentleman across the street doing construction to help us. Then we carried it all back and when we got back he was still being rude to other customers. Side note the girl who was working with was rude as well to the man she was helping. Waited only 4minutes which was really great! Three people working, 2 at counter and one off to the side sorting boxes. What seemed like the gentleman in charge was somewhat rude to his employee sorting boxes it seemed. Unfortunately, I got him and he made a snarky comment about did I scan my items at the door, given I've been here about 3 times to return amazon items I've never been asked that. I feel like this gentleman was annoyed in general and didn't want to be there, which I understand but I was very polite and apologized. Well, the internal Rev Ron counsel came together with a tough debate on making this a three or four star review! I've been here three times and it was outstanding on the first two occasions, but quite challenging on the most recent visit. Well, as we know, two out three ain't bad, so four star won out. I have to say, another reason I went with the four star is because Rachel, who provided assistance to me, was unbelievable in her handling of my situation, along with taking care of a good number other customers at the same time. As a former pizza shop manager, I have to say that watching her work was an incredibly synchronized ballet performed to perfection in the chaos! This store is always busy - with people often lined up outside the door waiting in line. I will say here that the shop is well set up for Covid protocols for those who may be concerned. Lines are marked six-feet apart and there is hand sanitizer available at the counter. I've needed specialized support on all three of my visits and the employees saw me through the process with great courtesy and respect even during the rush. I give them great credit because they do know how to keep those lines moving at a better than I would expect speed. Do be careful in the lot. Sometimes other cars move too fast through it and the road closest to the shop can be dicey with its sharp curve. It does make seeing other drivers difficult as you leave the UPS Store. Other than that, its service is solid and I doubt they would disappoint you. Recommend: HIGH read more

The gentleman working the counter whose name I think was Larry was very rude. Seemed to be ready to quit his job. He first didn't want to assist a non English speaking couple on returning an amaon product. I understand maybe it seemed "busy" with approx five ppl in line but assisting them would've just taken a few seconds since that's what it took me to help them. When he called me up he asked if I already scanned the item. It was my first time at the store so I didn't know we HAD to scan to the item before approaching the counter. Maybe if he would've announced it as ppl waited in line more ppl would've done it. He told me to take the item out the box/bag since they don't need it. That was a first for me, usually they take the item in its packaging since the bag actually states that on it. I did as he instructed afterwards he scanned it and gave me a receipt I walked over to help the couple. He said here's your box, I said can you tops it for me and with a disgusted face he said no, I said you don't have a trash can another disgusted face and said nope, I simply said oh okay that's a first no problem. So I took the box and guess what!!! A trash can miraculously appeared in the store. I get it maybe it wasn't store policy to get rid of the box for a customer but the facial expression and attitude wasn't necessary. The elderly couple continued to explain to me that he was rude and didn't want to help them and thanked me. Poor customer service at this location. And to think it's only gonna get busier, he prolly should take a vacation. read more

Once again Mr. Polite gets you guys a one star. I won't say who because at the end of the day the whole staff ends up being punished by this one particular worker. He purposely chooses to use demeaning language and to belittle you for not being entirely knowledgeable on the shipping of items. That's what he does day in and day out. He expects you to be equally informed or else you upset him and goes on to use a demeaning tone. He does it mainly to women. I did file a claim but due to your unbelievably poor packaging they denied the claim. After researching you on the business tax office it came clear that you're not running your business under the correct business entity. I will follow up to revoke your license . Paid for an item to be packaged before shipping, it was soo poorly packed and damaged that the receiver sent it back and I had to trash it. When I called to talk to the supervisor he yelled at me and said it's not his concern. read more

I am a Northern California resident but a RAVING FAN of this UPS Store. My father recently passed away and I needed to ship a piece of his furniture to my son in Florida. It was the very last item in my dad's house that needed to be removed before the house went up for sale, and I was only going to be in San Diego for one day to take care of it. Moe was tremendous help over the phone and even arranged to take care of it personally on the one day I could get it to the store. They built a custom crate and sent it on to Florida posthaste! I actually been working for UPS for 10 years and I currently still do and I just feel they don't provide the best customer service . We are coming in for just a simple print just 1 sided no card stock anything and i have no idea why we've been waiting for more than 5 minutes and now all the other customers are out. I really think they should work on greeting customers and helping out . We're standing around and they don't even look up atleast asking "did you guys send the email already" or something . They need better customer service skills Atleast a lil more friendly . I kind of rather drive a bit further to another one than this one read more

I do Amazon returns at the UPS store and Jeremiah is fantastic articulate wonderful customer service every time I go over there he's helpful his tone of voice and knowledgeable about the return process his tag says associate notary there are other workers there but this UPS store has Jeremiah! Jeremiah demonstrates what customer service should be like and in this day and age I find that other people are not as great as customer service and it's a plus even though they have to do a job anyway his customer service tone of voice communication skills and information knowledge about the products is great. Sometimes I feel flustered and he is calm and we need calm to get things done sometimes being flustered will not work and his calmness made me calm and I got things done. There are options to return your Amazon products and sometimes I get have a hard time with the other associates who are trying to help me but with Jeremiah he always goes above and beyond helping. Tone of voice, problem solver, CALM, knowledgeable. That kind of customer service is essential especially when I'm packaging my things and everything is all automated We don't always know what packages need to be packaged for Amazon returns and what is free and it says on the bottom whether or not a label is needed etc. package. There's another lady there that is good but she seems a little bit robotic when she's a giving her answers so my basis of comparison is Jeremiah who was working there Thursday April 25th and the many times that I've gone there I've seen him helping other people de-escalating any worries being , very informative so yes I would go there I used to go to Kohl's drop off to return things but it's too far although I love getting a 15- 20% voucher from Kohl's drop off, I decided to go the UPS. I haven't used their packaging service yet I've only used the Amazon return service many times and if I have a question Jeremiah would be there to answer sometimes there's a line but it goes pretty fast and sometimes there's no line. What I have to say about the other workers is for them not to sound too robotic and policy oriented but for them to explain kindly without just telling us to go to Amazon customer service see if they can resolve the problem or the issue to save my time My time is important and customer service is important to me I would rather go far even though gas is expensive to a place where the customer service is better than to go where it's convenient and they don't treat you right I don't want to patron a business like that so I take my review seriously So as long as they have Jeremiah and training people like Jeremiah to be good at customer service great because not everyone is tech savvy with all these machines Not all senior citizens or whoever can get on the machine and return something right away and even if it's there so a word to the two other female employees that were there that are robotic please work on your problem solving skills find other ways instead of just redirecting us to go to Amazon read more

I come to this UPS store typically when I am in need of returning Amazon packages. It's usually pretty convenient to go into this location because they aren't super busy (at least when I find myself there). The biggest downside in my opinion is that the staff isn't that friendly or helpful. Maybe it's the same person I usually get when I'm there sending stuff back, or maybe it's just my perception, but they aren't overly nice. However, they are pretty efficient, at least for my needs. Once I get to the counter, they have me in and out in less than five minutes. Obviously with COVID and social distancing requirements, the line can be a bit longer than desired, but it still doesn't take too much time. Overall, I would recommend this location for your basic needs. Pretty straight forward. read more
