I am a business customer and had a restaurant that needed a part by Saturday. I went into the UPS store to ship the part on Friday for overnight delivery to my customer who needed it. I paid $89 for a 3lb package to get over-night shipping. It seemed like a high price, but the customer was willing to pay it, so I went ahead with it. I provided the tracking information to the receiver. The next day (Saturday) it should have been delivered by noon. When it wasn't, my customer checked the tracking information of the package and found out the scheduled delivery date wasn't until Monday. It turns out that the customer service rep didn't set the package up for overnight delivery at all. I called the store and asked for a manager - The manager, Harjeet, said that when people say over-night delivery, she does it for the "Next Business Day". I told her that over-night delivery and next business day are two very different things. If I wanted the package there Monday, the price would have been approx. $20 to ship and not $90. She said it was completely her fault and she would give me a 5% discount. I said that wasn't acceptable. She then offered a 15% discount. That's still not acceptable - I paid $90. To re-coup that, I would have to spend a lot of money in the store. She said she would call her area manager to see what could be done. I felt at this point like she addressed my concern and that she was going to resolve the issue. Approx 30 minutes later, she called back and stated that she remembered me and that she wasn't going to do anything because it was completely my fault. This simply isn't true. My husband asked to speak to the area manager directly about this issue. The problem is still not resolved, but I will be giving them as many 1 star reviews as possible so other people can avoid the heartache of dealing with this store. Do yourself a favor and don't come to this UPS store! They fail to be honest with you about their charges! I used their computer for 2 minutes to access my email and print a document, which their associate recommended, instead of me just forwarding the email to them and having them print it and they charged me an additional $2!!! Associate could've mentioned that there was a charge to use the computer if that's what I wanted to do. Would've been nice to know ahead of time that instead of paying 11 cents for a simple black and white print I'd end up paying $2.30 instead! What a ripoff! read more

Unlike other times I've visited this location, I was extremely satisfied with the gentleman named Avrill that helped me today. I came in needing to send a package and also having to print out my pre-paid shipping label because my printer conveniently stopped working. Instead of having to go through the hassle of printing and also paying extra to use the computer at the store, he said that I could just email the shipping label directly to the store so that I would only need to pay 10 cents for printing. Not only that, I didn't have 10 cents on me because I never carry cash or change so I was planning to just pay with my card. He then stopped me and said that he would take care of it because there would be a minimum charge of $1. This may not seem like a big deal to most people, but to me it honestly made my day! read more

The worst ups experience ever! I used to work at a store myself and know what customer service means. Cannot believe the rip off this store is practicing. I had one single black and white copy to print from a usb stick. Most stores don't even charge for a single copy but that was not the issue, I was ready to pay for the copy. They had me pay $2 for using their computer for less than a minute. Really??? Cashier did not care and was so fake friendly that I wish I had checked previews prior to entering. Avoid this store by all means!!! read more

First time coming here, mailing packages back home can be difficult, but coming to this certain UPS store all I have to say is WOW!! When I first arrived I was greeted by two wonderful females, with their welcoming smiles. They helped me right away directing me what I had to do regarding my package services. They were every informative regarding how to package, regarding the items inside. They made the whole experience pleasant and easy. I will do all my delivery services here. read more

This UPS store has the rudest employee I've ever seen. I might be old and slow but she doesn't have the right to talk down to me like she did. Also, from the receipt I found out this woman cheated on the weights of the packages. I shipped two identical items to Amazon. The first item was weighed by a girl and it was 0.2 lbs. This rude woman weighed the second item and it was 0.35 lbs. Although I didn't have to pay because they were returned to Amazon, I wonder if this woman has been cheating Amazon like that for years? People who go to this store need to watch out and weigh your items at home first before bringing them to this store. Business owner I am surprised you let this employee (short, dark skin) talk down to customers like that. read more

i was more than delighted with the work the folks did on my print job. it was a very small print and i wasnt sure if they would be able to blow it up to 24 x 36, but they did and it turned out so beautiful. i recommend this store very highly and i will continue to go there for all that they do!! thank you so very much!! read more

UPS offers recipients to have packages routed to a UPS Store at no additinal charge. I selected this store because it's close to home, and I did not want the package sitting at my front door overnight ( due to being out of town). Unfortunately, this store refused the package at delivery? What's worse is that I was not provided a courtesy email, nor call. The package was returned to sender. I'm still trying to comprehend as to why the package was declined? UPS customer service was unable to provide any other info besides that the package was declined by UPS Store. I'm now working with the sender trying to prevent shipping charges for the both of us, and trying to get the package re-sent. read more

I recently closed my post mail box that I'd had for over 5yrs with this location due to the rising costs. As a loyal customer, I would expect the same if not lower price for renewals. Nevertheless, I returned today at about 11:15am to open another box. Jennifer was the customer service associate, and she was all over the place. I'm not talking about effectively working, I'm talking about doing too much while unable to focus on the task at hand; opening my box. She finally got around to telling me that since I was going to open a business box (the same box I previously had was available), I'd have to pay extra due to it not being just for personal use. I agreed to the extra $5 per month, for a total of $25/mo. She asked me how many months I wanted, I told her just month to month. She replied that there's a minimum of a 3 month requirement. I don't know why she asked if I needed to agreed to at least 3 months. During this entire time, she's in the middle of one thing, goes to another with another customer, and absolutely could not handle doing multiple, simple things at once. After almost 20 minutes, all customers were taken care of and gone by the time she gave me the total as she was walking away. When she finally returned. I asked how did the total go from $25 monthly to a minimum of $75 today, then up to $103. She stated, "there's a $20 set up fee plus taxes." I told her she hadn't mentioned the set up fee, and I told her I was a returning long term customer. Of course, just as before, there wasn't anything she could do to retain what should have been a valued customer. I suggested next time she stays focused on ONE customer and to state the fees up front. Twenty five minutes later and late for my appointment, I told her to cancel and thanked her for wasting my time. read more

It had been a bad day. No, it had been a bad week. I walked into the UPS Store on Thunderbird Rd exhausted and frazzled. The store environment was peaceful and the staff was courteous, comforting, encouraging, and helpful. "It's going to be okay," -- this one phrase the owner spoke turned my focus forward instead of behind. I was in there for less than 5 minutes and my errands were done! I recommend you use this store for all your personal and professional shipping, printing, and copying needs. It is more than a UPS Store, it is a hometown resource. Highly recommend! read more

I think this location needs a remedial customer service class. The place is close to me and convenient but I will likely travel a little farther. The services expected at A UPS store should be easy to accomplish. I would think that the employees would be pleasant to customers. This was not my experience today, and that's too bad. Other UPS stores are better to their customers. I was not pleased with the service today. Probably will not return unless I have a shipping emergency. read more

Fraudulent practices going on in this store. Dropped off two packages for which Dish network send me PREPAID labels. The person at the store advised me that Dish would charge my Dish account me $ 18.99 per package once they received the packages back. She could give me a lower price for the shipping. She tied to extort money from me while she knew very well that I had prepaid labels. read more

Don't bother to do any business here, the smiling man in the photo is nice but it's not him who runs the shop, instead it's running by a couple of Indian women who are very eagle to rip you off every penny while you are there. I got cheated on shipping a package, the dark skin woman was very deceptive, she charged me on the an optional service without letting me know. Buyer beware. One first class stamp (meter sticker) here costs 80 cents here. If I could have heard the price the clerk muttered, I would have turned around and went next door to Basha and got a book of Stamps. I was very annoyed. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen!!!!!! They are supposed to be the shipping experts, but when they get it wrong it is your fault for not knowing the policies of ups they take your money to pack and ship. When my package was sent back they said they could not deliver to that location per policy because it was unoccupied. Funny noone said anything even though I mentioned it. It was a customer who was working on the home. it was thier policy that wasn't on anything I signed or that was presented to me which they agreed with. I should have know that was a special condition they said. I said What am I paying you for You're supposed to be the expert working for me? They said they are not ups and they are just a place to drop off packages. As you can see in the response from the owner on these other reviews it is all on you don't expect any customer service or for them to be looking out for you best interest. The owner actually says it is the customers responsibility to read everthing and approve. Ok so when the issue in question is not on any of the paper work? and they agree that it is not but still insist I should know what they would conside a special condition. again not ever a question asking If there might be any special conditions. Agin they agreed that it was never brought up on thier end. I wish I had read the reviews first!!!!! I would give this review negative stars of I could. Seriously people, do not waste your time. Go to the UPS store at 59th & Bell. Honestly the WORST UPS store I have ever been to.They couldn't find the package I was picking up to begin with and when they did, the girl who was helping me asked for my license and compared it to the package and then took it to a coworker and her verify it as well. The second employee said she'd have to take me at another computer. I went over to where she was while she scanned the package and the label I brought in several times. Eventually she told me I would have to wait a while for a box to pop up on the screen in front of me but that it was very slow so it would take 60 seconds or more and there was nothing she could do about it so in the meantime she was just going to help another customer. So I stood there and waited and waited some more while another store associated talked (very loudly) to a customer on the phone, using the computer I was supposed to be waiting to have a signature box populate on. Finally the box popped up after a few minutes of waiting. I signed but since my box was still on the other side of the counter and the THREE incompetent employees were otherwise occupied, I waited and waited yet again. When I was officially fed up, I reached across the counter and grabbed my box and announced I was leaving. It should not take upwards of 15 minutes to simply collect a package from a store when there's not even anyone in line ahead of you. Absolutely ridiculous. I will be sure none of my packages come near this store again. They certainly don't deserve the business. read more
