This UPS store has a drop off Kiosk now and it was simple to use but, my only concern is the large bin next to the kiosk that you leave your packages. The bin was full to the top and I left my small package which contained a watch in it and was concerned that anybody could just walk in and take a package from there. It would be safer to deposit the package into a container located behind the counter. read more

Called Sunday and asked if they had the availability to do live scan. Was told yes. Asked what time they were opened until and was told 2. Drove there got in at 115. Waited in line even let someone with Amazon retunes go ahead of me. Showed the guy behind the counter the form and he said oh we only do live scan Monday to Friday. I told him I was the one who called and he said it could have been him or the other guy already gone. Either way I explained the call etc and he just says you asked if we could do live scans so I said yes. You asked when we were open until so I said 2. I have to ask if he was capable of 2+2. This location does not follow the mask mandate. I went in today and kindly asked the worker (Scott) to put on his mask before I approached him or I'll just wait to be helped by the other gentlemen and he refused to put on his mask. He had it tucked under his chin. What is the point of that? Clearly the health and safety of their customers is not a priority. Very disappointed with this location. Employee this time was wearing a mask but they might as well have not if they were all going to wear them below the nose. In addition, one employee had a mesh mask, clearly just to look like he was following guidelines but clearly doesn't protect us or him from harmful air particles. I've been to this location at least 3x in the last month due to it being the closest to home and I have to say the customer service I received each time from the young kid behind the counter was non existent to just simply rude. I've been using this UPS for the past 20 years and have always pleased with their service. There has always been an older gentleman working there whom was always very kind and professional and now there's rude young boys working the front counter! FYI- if you don't bring your own tape they charge $10.00 for a roll. Total RIP OFF!!!! And BS on both UPS store and Amazon! Worker was rude and kept trying to sale solar panels to customers instead of attending to the long line.

I get super uncomfortable every time I come here. The young boy that works here is always mask less but full of attitude. He gets physically uncomfortable when women and minorities come into the building. Always has Joe Rogan videos playing at maxed out volume on his phone and loves to belittle everyone that comes in. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, hopefully, this location can get shut down and we can get a new one where people don't have to feel so uncomfortable going in. She was chatting with her friend on the phone while helping me like I didn't exist though her Bluetooth earbud. Not sure if she come here to play or work. Not only that, they charged for label print out when amazon specify they will cover the cost and the label from their website through UPS! And when the white dude there put his opinion and said the QR code we don't charge for print out, but the label we do! Like, what's the difference seriously... I come to this place because it's close to my work. Even though it is a little bit more money, however just recently I've been using it to send military packages to my son. I have been buying boxes from here, just to come to find out that usps provides military packages for FREE for military use. I wish I could have known that instead of paying extra money. This review is mostly about the manager( I THINK his name was Scott, not sure). I was in the store earlier looking to ship something out. A girl was working a register along with him. I think she's new, I have only seen her once before 2 weeks ago. She was trying to take a 10 minute break around 1:30pm and he said "no not with customers in the store" then HE WALKED OFF AND WENT TO CHECK HIS BITCOIN! How are you going to tell her she can't take her break because the store has customers then leave her alone to handle it alone?! She's a MUCH better employee than me because I would have taken my break anyway. Im pretty sure denying work breaks is illegal, but even more-so appalled he would blatantly treat her like a minion in front of us. I can only imagine what she deals with alone. Im never one to make bad reviews.. But be aware this UPS store is a scam.. I already disputed my charge with the bank and got my money back but they will charge you for Amazon packages that should be free and charge you for holding up the line.. The managers response was " for high jacking the line" he made me pay for another customer who left without paying too lol.. they can't control the way they help customers and it's an absolute mess. Sorry but I came first so I get helped first regardless of having 4 packages.. and customers are not responsible for paying you for your SERVICE. It's your job and you get paid for it.. we are only responsible for the cost of our packages LOL. I had gone to this store to get my live scan done , it's been weeks and the company I had sent it to still hasn't received it. I called ups with hopes of either getting a refund or having them re do the scans again, but they said it was out of their control. Spoke with the manger he was no help. I would not advise people to go to this store for a live scan, they are unprofessional and clearly don't know what they're doing. Also I paid 80$ for it, and when I had gone to another ups location they charged 50$ I don't know what the deal is what that. read more

I went to the UPS store at 8250 Calvine Rd. Because I had two vanilla envelopes that I needed to mail but wasn't sure of the postage. The guy at the counter wanted to mail them for me. I didn't even have them addressed. Again just needed postage. He weights them and then reached in a door and put regular stamps on. I figured it was going to be a printed postage. Then still he wanted to mail it without being addressed. I told him again I just needed postage. I paid for them with a credit card. When I got in my truck to drive away. I looked on my receipt to find that they charged me $7.50 for 6 stamps. Ridiculous I will never go back into that store. I had another incident where I needed copies and the guy was counting the copies wrong and I kept telling him it's not 10 it's four I finally got frustrated and walked out because he couldn't count right. Try your best to find an alternative to using this store. Needing to do a drop off today and 2 out of 3 employees behind the counter had their masks below their noses. They don't show respect for others who may have a vulnerable health condition or has loved ones at home who are vulnerable to this deadly virus. At the very least, my packages get where they need to go. So really this location is doing its job on that part. But on two occasions a young clerk (male & Caucasian) is who I've had the "pleasure" of being service by. Thank god it's something simple as dropping off an Amazon return, which should be simple and minimal interaction. But in just those 60 seconds or so he manages to make his nasty attitude known. The young guy behind the counter never wear mask. I rented a mailbox at that store and I visit there around once a week, every time I visit there the young man NEVER wear mask to cover month and nose (he only put the mask under jaw, does not cover month and nose at all). Even though they put a BIG sign on the front door asking customers wearing mask before entering store, the young staff NEVER wear mask properly. Well Ive been to UPS all over Elk grove and for me this is the best one the staff there really help you alot more than the other UPS Ive been if you are wondering about the price here it's almost the same as Fedex but cheaper and you do get charge to use their computer. Went to the ups store on Calvine on Monday. It was a long line out the door on the rainy day. The nice lady working the front handled everyone with care and was very patient. I appreciate her kindness and customer service. Although she didn't help me, bc I was getting papers notarized, I observed her not being overwhelmed, multi tasking and being very kind and helpful. I rented a mailbox for an entire year for $380. I ended up moving and asked if I could be reimbursed for the months that I did not use my mailbox since I was used it for 2 months. They said they could not refund me but they could forward my mail for the year. I also shipped 3 boxes and 3 suitcases from this location for $1,061.56. I received a phone call from them and was told they had mail to forward to me and to reconfirm my address. I never received it and 2 weeks later called them. Turns out it was never forwarded and someone forgot to call me to tell me that they needed payment to forward my mail. Seriously? After all of the shipping I had done from this shop and the fact I couldn't get a reimbursement for my mailbox and now they want payment to forwarding mail they told me that was going to be forwarded several weeks ago. Who changes rules in a business on a whim. Why am I having to fund their operations? Does customer service even exist anymore? read more

I needed something notarized. The young guy, Scott, didn't even pay attention to my name and misspelled it causing me to have to come back to get it done correctly. I went back the following day to get it done correctly, he didn't tell me that I had to bring in the original incorrect documents so I had to come back for a THIRD time. Customer service was awful.
