I would only use The UPS Store to drop off prepaid UPS returns. They normally way overcharge for shipping. I have found this location to be conveniently located in a shopping plaza. NOTORIOUS FOR RIPPING OFF CUSTOMERS! This store charged me $7.50 to scan 5 pages. That's $1.50 per page! The Evergreen Library is close by and I could have easily scanned my documents there had I known the outrageous prices they charge at this UPS Store. The lady that worked there scanned my documents for me and did not bother to mention how much it would cost to scan one page. The prices are not listed anywhere in the store. The customer service and response were wonderful! Every time I walked into the store, Kim and Santhi remembered my name and were always more than happy to help me. When I came to pick up my items, they were really heavy and big. They would help me carry my stuff to my car even though I parked my car halfway across the plaza. The pricing was very reasonable. I went to multiple print stores that cost $1,000 to $2,000 to get 100 colored semi-gloss semi-hard brochures printed. This UPS was only about $400. The store was a great help when I wanted to print a lot of stuff in the following months. From last-minute posterboards to fliers and three 10 by 20 ft banners, surprisingly, they were able to do it all. Whenever I sent in an image that in print would not come out right, they didn't just print it. Instead, they would tell me about that these issues first and evens showed me sample images so I can fix the images before they print it. When I requested for 4,500 brochures in less than a week, they were able to deliver by the time I needed it. I definitely recommend going to this UPS store to get a variety of items printed. read more

This place is a dream for small business owners!! As the owner of a small, local business, whether I need to just drop of a package for the mail, ship a heavy box through UPS, or even print copies on a commercial copy machine I know I can do it all in this one place. AND the staff is so nice! I visit the UPS Store at White and Aborn at least 4-5 times a week and it is always quick in and out no fuss. I have also use the notary service on a couple of occasions. The ladies that work there always have a big smile even if there is a big holiday line...but typically there is no waiting. **My only complaint about this store is NOT their fault but rather the businesses next to them. If you happen to arrive around the time the martial arts classes next door are starting or ending there is a huge mess outside in the parking lot. I don't understand why people are so inconsiderate that they can block the entire drive and double park...it is simply rude and shame on all of you that do it. You would not appreciate if I blocked you into your parking space or double parked outside your garage door. Have some common courtesy. AGAIN...this is not the fault of the UPS Store or it's staff...just a rant about the people that frequent the martial arts studio next door. If you need a PO Box, copy/print services, notary, or simply to mail packages and letters this is the place to go. Say hi to Carol when you go in...she is so very nice. With so many businesses lacking in ANY customer service the employees here go out of their way to accommodate the needs of customers and clients. Rude rude rude! The blonde old woman is horrible and slow for no good reason when I tried to drop off a package. There was never a hi or even an acknowledgment that I'm waiting. I guess asking for a receipt is too much to ask for as well. I've had most other ups voluntarily ask if I want a receipt which takes them less than a minute to print. Well. I have to say....What a pleasant experience that was. I have a mountain of shipping to complete in a few weeks and I am a total rookie. I went in to the store and met with two of the nicest ladies I think I have ever met. They treated me like a professional, even though I'm sure my questions were so simple they could have answered them in their sleep. They were able to explain all my shipping options and even explained the shipping labels to me in a way that I could easily understand. I used to be intimidated by shipping multiple packages to multiple locations, now I'm looking forward to the next time I get to meet those helpful and friendly ladies. Carol is very patient and helpful with all of her customers. Thursday, 12/6, I urgently need to print from a PDF to my provided labels so I was the 1st customer of the day. Once learning what I need, Kelly determined I couldn't use the self-serve station, so we needed to use the computer. With tremendous patience, she hand-held me thru the printing process, including having to print via the bypass tray, and with a test page to try out. Needless to say: mission accomplished in less than 10min. Although I have to pay an extra $2 to use the computer, but Kelly's service is way, way, way more than that. I have had consistently bad service and bad attitude at this store. I ship frequently for my small business and use UPS almost exclusively and have had good experiences at other UPS stores. I will never use this one again. The final straw was when I had a critical overnight shipment to a customer on the east coast. I delivered the package to the store and they checked it in at 8:30am but failed to ship it out that afternoon. It sat at the store for an extra day and caused a bad impression with my customer. I called the next day to find out the cause. The person I talked to was unhelpful, but promised to investigate and call back. There was no call back, no offer of a refund of the expedited express charges, nothing. I get good service at the store at E. Capitol Expressway and McLaughlin Avenue. It's a little extra drive but worth it for the better service and confidence. read more

I work for a contractor who sends me to get lien releases notarized, overnight mail legal documents, ship packages, purchase shipping materials, make copies, and send certified mail. This store has everything to help run our small business. Carol is the one that I usually deal with because she is the notary. She has always been helpful and professional. When the store is empty but they refuse to fingerprint you because not enough people are working... either you need to hire more people to work there or teach all current employees to fingerprint. It takes less than 5 minutes to do a live scan but they wouldn't let me, telling me to "come back later" as if I have all the time in the world to drive back and forth to get it done whenever it's convenient for THEM. This went on for two days and I finally gave up and went to the local shipping place across the street. The only reason this received more than 1 star was because they were able to send my package. As soon as I arrived the woman at the desk turned and walked into the back without even acknowledging me. I continued to stand there for about 5 minutes while from what looked like another employee stood 10 feet away and looked over every so often but continued to not acknowledge us or even say hi. My package itself was about 4x5x4 inches so it was a fairly small package. Unfortunately I was in a rush and forgot to tape just the top closed for shipping. The woman emerged from the back and let out a shrill and uneager "next". Still no hello. She then informed me I had to pay one dollar for her to tape the top for me. I had to pay one dollar for a 6 inch peice of tape. THANKS UPS. I was told by Amazon that my return would be completely free of charge to me, so again thanks ups for charging me that $1 for the insanely difficult task of applying one strand of tape. I would completely understand if I showed up with a bigger box, that needed to be taped all around etc. But one strand of 6 inch tape doesn't make $1 seem plausible. Ridiculous. Accompanying a customer is a thing UPS, just giving you the heads up. I work for retail currently, I know what correct customer service is like. It's common decency to great customers as you see them, and no matter how shitty your day may be, you suck it up, smile, and say hi anyways. Thus UPS, or the workers here at this time at least are the farthest thing from customer service. read more

Just find out they DEACTIVATED my mailbox due to non payment, except that I paid six months ago with my credit card and just confirm it online. I am expecting a very important mail and came in two times before thinking it has not arrived yet. Most likely being return to sender. I am beyond mad. Went straight to post office and open a PO box for less than half the price. Be very careful doing business here. Keep your receipt if you must go there.
