This store was pretty decent before but the new management (Dave) is a really nice guy and well this is my new UPS go to store now...

We had poor customer service at this location. The employee wasn't helpful and we will not return. I rather go to Fedex

ABSOLUTE WORST service ever. The previous owners were very nice and customer oriented. The new owner is clueless and they won't last long with this service. I go in to mail a packaged t-shirt to a PO Box in Chicago and it needs to go via USPS. They handle the transaction and charge a surcharge over and above the Post Office. They put the postage on my package and set it in the USPS box. The package never gets scanned by the post office because the post office never received it. I go back into the store and ask the owner what he will do about my lost package. He says there is nothing he can do. So it's all my loss. He never even bothered to look up the tracking number. This place will NEVER see me again. read more

I have used this location a few times when I have been in the area, and it's been useful. The staff is normally pleasant. But I just recently used them to return an Amazon item and was informed by the Amazon vendor that the item arrived damaged. I had to fight for my refund. That means either someone at this location damaged the item or packed it badly. Either way, I can't bring anything to this UPS Store any more. read more

This is the best UPS Store in San Ramon, Ca. I brought my package to them to be sent out and that afternoon the manager called me and said there was a problem he found with the package so he wanted to know if he could correct the problem and send it out. Can you believe that, he took the time to see a problem and correct it for me didn't even make me go back and get the package. The employees in this store are so nice and accommodating. To be fair, I am a difficult customer. I work with horses, so I am frequently shipping oddly shaped, dirty, items that are super fragile. This store takes care of it without any problems. They are great about packing up my items, selecting the correct box, and making sure I get the best value. I even brought in 3 soaking wet boxes before -- these boxes were actually falling apart -- and this store helped me tape the sh!t out of it so that it would make it to the location without falling apart. I was prepared to be told I needed to buy new boxes etc, but they just Tim Gunned it and made it work! I have also needed notary services, as well as certified mail, signature confirmation, etc etc. This location can do all of these things. They are my one stop shop! The people who work here are super knowledgeable and friendly! They care about the business, and that makes all the difference. I will continue to use this UPS Store location for all of my shipping, packing, mailing, and notary needs! read more

I've had a mail box here for years now. They always hold my packages for me and even offer to load them in my car! Everyone is kind, gracious and helpful. I've shipped from here and used their notary service too. I'm treated like a long term friend and greeted by name every time I come in. Can't say enough good things about this place. read more

I used to go to the UPS Customer Service Center Store on Norris Canyon, but given their recent reduced hours, I've being going to this store and will continue to do so even after Covid. They're even open on Saturdays! I have now visited this location multiple times within the last 7 months. I am always greeted with a hello or good morning, which is so welcomed. They are very efficient, I am usually done within 5-10minutes. read more

This place is very slooooooow with their customer service Waited for thirty minutes for a passport photo and when I finally Got to the front of the line I was told that I had to wait because someone was getting fingerprinted Staff are very chatty and work at a pace that makes the USPS seem Like a well oiled machine...... These guys do Canadian passport photos, unlike FedEx. They paid extra detail too to ensure the photo matched the exact head size measurements in addition to the odd sized photo, really great friendly staff. read more

This store listed a 5pm closing time. I arrived at 4:03 to drop off a prepaid and labeled box, but they were locked up and the employees inside refused to let me in. Horrible service, will not be using UPS or the UPS store any more. I will drive an extra 10 minutes to the FedEx store instead. read more

I went there today to send a two page fax. I was promptly greeted and my fax was sent quickly without any issues. The store seemed a little disorganized, there were boxes all over the counter. But they took care of me just fine. Will I be back? Yeah, probably. read more

If I had option of giving this store -ve stars, I would have given it -5. The Indian lady over there, I think she is the owner, is so rude. She needs to learn some basic customer service. Went to drop the returns, she is like, start packing .. I am like lady .. Take chill pill .. Next .. No No.. we don't provide free tape (most UPS store I have been to, are courteous enough to provide basic taping to make sure the box closes) .. Really, you can't be polite to customers? Too much to ask for someone who is dropping stuff off . On separate note, I think they have other employees who I have had better experience with. I eventually ended up going over to the one by Market Place and everything went just fine and as expected. read more

I don't know where all the bad reviews come from, but after using this location for the last 3 years to ship out my Xmas gifts to NJ I figured I owed them a decent review. As I mentioned, I have shipped with them for about 3 years now.. The location is very convenient for me, parking is always available in the 10 min spots so you don't have to carry your large/heavy package from too far. This year I was lucky and there was no one in the store and the girl there was VERY helpful and SUPER friendly...She helped me get a proper size box for my gifts, and helped box it all up. But even in past years if I had maybe 1-2 people in line, that was about it... I also love how the system has my frequent shipping address in it, so I don't have to fill out any forms or repeat any information. Very convenient. I've had issues with the US Post office stealing my packages so I only trust UPS with my Xmas gifts.. Holidays are a stressful time, and shipping stuff can be an ordeal. So just relax, be nice and let them help you. read more

I have periods of time where I need to ship items every week so I use the UPS store on San Ramon Valley Blvd. and Crow Canyon in the Safeway Shopping Center. Every time I use them they are fast, professional, and friendly. No one likes to wait in lines and when your times finally comes, it takes forever to process your shipment. This has never happened to me at this UPS store..... ever. There is always enough staff on hand to keep the line moving so you are in and out quick. Thank you for your professionalism! read more

This was a great place! The young lady helped me with my Amazon package drop off, compare prices on shipping for a package through them vs. USPS, and then directed me to the nearest Fed Ex store, (for a package I had with a prepaid Fed Ex label), when we were done. Very nice! read more

I use this store to ship a variety of items before covid and now during. They have the most helpful and friendly!

Strongly recommend avoiding this location unless you enjoy getting nickle and dimed. Charging for tape, printing and minimum credit card purchase amounts should all be expected here. Very short-sighted business practices which discourage profitable repeat business. read more
