It's a really nice local skate shop. They specialize in professional scooters and fingerboards, and the guys who work here are really nice and helped with finding the scooter my brother wanted and even assembling it. They also have a nice big table fingerboard park in the main room, and carry all kinds of fingerboard decks, wheels, and accessories. All together just a great quality small business read more

The store its self is great I took my son here cause he wanted more mini skateboards and the mini scooters. We had to ask them to be able to have somebody help us to pay we stood there and nobody said anything until we had to ask. The guy that attended us on Sunday just had the absolute worst attitude, I had a discount code from a prior order I doubt he used it he just looked at us and completely ignored it. Absolutely shitty service I understand it's busy but why did he have to act like it was such a burden for us to pay. $77 dollars later for crap service. I've dealt with these people, along with Inky's in El Cajon and it's great to be able to interact, rather than try to do everything over e-mail or leave phone messages. Walter is amazing and makes this business even more amazing. If you go practically anywhere in the state, scooter kids are talking about him. They even want his autograph and to have their photo taken with him. In cases of mail order, they've been responsive. They sell out of equipment very quickly but they tend to replenish fairly quickly also. The bad thing about coming to the store is that there is not enough parking on the whole block. There is metered street parking up front so ensure you plan accordingly. On a recent road trip out west, we made plans for my scooter-obsessed kiddos to make a stop to The Vault. Of course the timing of our vacation was ideal, because one of my kiddos busted his lower headset bearing while scootering on our trip. Aside from stopping in for new handle bar grips and fun new Vault-labeled shirts, Walter took care of us in the repair department. He replaced the broken headset bearing (no service charge) and gave us some pointers on scooter parts that we might want to consider upgrading in the near future. The customer service was outstanding. Walter was super duper friendly, gave my kids some awesome stickers for the road, and we were shocked at how reasonably priced the shirts were. I wanted to get a scooter to be able to get to work faster since it would be faster than using the bus and cheaper than Uber. There did not seem to be many stores specializing in scooters so I was interested in this one. Upon entering the store I was helped out by Austin who showed me many different models which would be well suited for long distances. He demonstrated how to use them as well as the pros and cons of each and also explained to me how to choose the right helmet. Overall I chose a Globber scooter and got a XXL helmet. The scooter is very fast compared to walking and I am very satisfied with the purchase and customer support at this store. If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would. I live over an hour away and my buddy and I made the drive as soon as I could after work but the traffic was atrocious. On the way we called the store and an employee assured us that if we arrive before closing time we would receive assistance and could make a purchase. I was prepared to spend a considerable amount of money in the store as well as tip the employee for their assistance considering the circumstances Upon arrival at 4:55 the store was completely closed but I could see an employee peeking at me through the door way. I knocked for a long amount of time only to see another employee laughing at me from the register. This was not only rude but completely disrespectful to whoever owns the store and was about to receive a new customer. I walked in to buy a "large-wheeled" scooter for my daughter but had no idea what to look for. One of the employees (I wish I could remember his name off-hand) was attentive and knowledgeable and told me about the differences between the brands, including how they ride and handle. My daughter rode around the ample space inside the store to try out several models. The employee did not try to sell me the most expensive model but sold me on the features. I ended up buying two: one for my daughter and one for me! I also ended up buying helmets and I'll probably go back to get a few more accessories. Great experience.
