Food is always delicious. Service is great and the views are spectacular. These are a few pictures from a few years ago

Another wonderful experience at the wharf. Their cocktails and mocktails continue to amaze me. They are beautiful and delicious! The food always impresses me too! We had a burrata board and asked for bread on the side since my bestie has a gluten allergy. They did that no problem! Our servers were amazing---friendly and attentive! We were so thankful to them. The restaurant was still decorated so stunningly for the holidays and I'm so glad we got to see it. Talk about beautiful! We'll be back soon for sure! One of our new fave spots!

The food was so good and the views while sitting at the bar are beautiful especially at around 5pm when the sun starts to set. The service is great and I have not stopped thinking about the Wharf Lemonade.

According to Yelp, I'm officially becoming a regular at The Wharf in Warren... and honestly, how could I not? The waterfront location is beautiful, the space is always perfectly decorated for the season and the drinks never disappoint. A friend and I stopped in to try the seasonal offerings and loved everything from the cocktails to the mocktails. My personal favorite was the Christmas Margarita (so good). We also shared the burrata board and, not to be dramatic, but I could have licked the board clean just to make sure none of that pesto or balsamic went to waste. Before heading out, we ran into a friend, chatted, snapped a few more photos and were treated to the most beautiful cotton-candy sunset. A perfect way to end the evening. The Wharf continues to be one of my favorite spots, and I'll absolutely be back again soon.

What an amazing find! Had a friend and his wife visiting from out of town and offered a list of venues for us to meet. He chose The Wharf. We had a wonderful time sitting the deck and enjoyed the fresh air and the service (Olivia) ever right on the Warren waterfront. Truly a gem that I will return to and do not miss this as I had for many years

Cotton candy for a sweet treat at the end of the meal.

We met friends for dinner and the setting was beautiful...right on the river with lots of parking and a very ample dining area. Our server was very nice and friendly....we enjoyed her service. I got the Asian Thai Salad and it was large and fresh...really good salad. My husband got the chicken parm with linguini and it was really good....nice sauce. We also got a half bottle of a Pinot Noir and it was delicious. At the end of the meal, our server brought a complementary cotton candy for the entire table...sweet way to end a good meal....Great place for a meal....great service.....

I have lived in Warren down the street from The Wharf for over a year and this was my first time finally trying the place. We went on a busy Saturday for lunch ( because their lunch menu is much better than their dinner one, with more options) . We had a group of 7 and we were told it was going to be 45 minutes, and that we could go up to the deck/ rooftop bar for a drink. We actually found a whole couch and relaxed in the sun with drinks for 45 minutes with live music. I really enjoyed the views, the drinks were not great but there was two bartenders and a packed deck so I think that was the fault of staffing issues. We ate inside in the dining room, near the bar. The waitress was funny and very helpful/ attentive. Everyone in my group enjoyed their food. I would absolutely return, and I hope in the future they add some of their lunch menu to the dinner menu.

Delicious seaside restaurant. The octopus shot set up was a cool way to keep up with the nautical theme. The pumpkin ravioli was delicious and the bacon gave it a good salty contrast to the sweet ravioli. The riccotta gnocchi was so soft and melted in your mouth. The chocolate chip cookie cake slice a la mode was very indulgent and hit the spot. The menu does change with seasons - so check in advance if you're expecting to try something! Service was okay - the waitress seemed rushed and was a bit short in the beginning of the night, and later apologized.

Omg I luv this place!! Food was good drinks on point!! Me n my hunny will be back asap!!!!

Had the most yummy amazing birthday dinner here and loved everything about it. They were very accommodating to us adding people to our party last minute which was super appreciated. We had a huge table to ourselves and were in the perfect section to be far away from other people. We got the best parmesan truffle french fries I have ever had and very yummy calamari as our appetizers. Also got a very good espresso martini that I shared with a bunch of people because everyone thought it tasted so good. Our food came out relatively quick for how many people were in our party and it all tasted amazing- I think almost every single person finished their entire meal. Their menu is very seafood based but there's still options if you're not into that- some people at our table got chicken parm and steak. They also brought us out all the desserts on a platter so we could see our options, we ended up getting a death by chocolate cake and not only did I take the rest home but I ate another piece in my bed last night while watching a show. It was so good. They also brought us out cotton candy before we left- so yummy.

Shell Games. Linguine with claims. Only 4 fresh claims, rest were frozen or pre diced. Too much lingui. First picture is from the The Wharf, 4 claims. Second from another restaurant same price, much better.

Perfect portion, seasoned well with some spicy kick and a good crisp bottom as well, I will never forget about that burger. Got the guac on the side to eat with my chips which was a nice touch. We came in, was greeted by the hostess, she was very nice. She told us we could go in the back and have drinks and an app while we waited for our table. Great! A waitress came by, took our order for drinks and app. She was very nice and cheery. We hoped to get her as the waitress. So far, so good right? We were sat and our nachos came out just as we just settled in which was good. I was disappointed that expediter didn't bother to get us plates or recognize that we needed them. She left before I could say anything so I had to flag her down for them. She did get them quickly. For some reason, the waitresses were all over the back table of loud girls. It appeared they were showering them with attention going back and forth all different waitresses. The place is incredibly loud, it was tough to have a conversation with my girlfriend while we. We tried several times to make any sort of eye contact with the staff to let them know we needed drinks and failed. Eventually, we stood up, walked over and asked a waitress for some waters. A waitress came to the table and gave us waters and asked if we wanted drinks but let her know we had already put them in. She seemed annoyed by us, even though we didn't do anything other than tell her we already had drinks in and that we may order some other things soon. Nobody ever came by to check on us even though they came every 2 minutes to gab with the back table. My girlfriend and I didn't really like the nachos. She felt the chili was burnt and I thought it was too salty. We were still hungry and going to ask for entrees, but we were so annoyed with feeling neglected that we decided to go elsewhere. I asked for a box for my food and the waitress said she'd be back and went and talked with the other table again for what seemed like an eternity. At that point we just wanted to leave and eat somewhere else. When she came back after a while I was like... Oh! There you are! And she took my payment. I hate not leaving tips, but I was aggravated. We shouldn't have to get up and ask for what we need. This was upsetting.

We ordered the mini stuffies, the hummus plate, and the fried pickles. The mini stuffies were a highlight. Loaded with Mello's chouriço and packed with flavor, they're a solid little bite. My grandfather set the bar pretty high for me on stuffies, and these came close. They have a different profile than what I grew up with; a little less bready, more chouriço forward, and the clam flavor takes a back seat. Not necessarily a complaint, they were just different from what I'm used to and were genuinely tasty. The lemon aioli on top was also a nice touch. The fried pickles were exactly what you want them to be. Crispy, well fried, and the breading actually stayed put while you ate them, which is more than I can say for a lot of fried pickles. They came with the same lemon aioli as the stuffies, which worked just as well here. The hummus plate was a bit of a letdown. We've had it many times before and it used to be a standout. This time the hummus itself was thick and pretty flavorless, more like a dense chickpea paste than anything else. The accompaniments were nice though and consisted of heirloom carrots, cucumbers, olives, cherry tomatoes, asparagus, pickled cauliflower, carrot, and a pepperoncini, all served alongside some buttery round crackers that were like a Ritz cracker's more refined cousin. The veggies saved the plate, but the hummus needs to find its way back. I suppose it could have just been an off batch and won't prevent us from trying it again. Cocktails were great, as usual. I had the Anana with scotch. I love pineapple and this has muddled pineapple and basil, pineapple juice, cracked black pepper. It's my go-to here and it delivered again. My partner went adventurous and ordered the Jungle Booby, which is built around tequila blanco and mezcal with campari, pineapple, grapefruit, lime, orgeat, and an absinthe spritz. The flavors were genuinely good, but the smokiness from the mezcal was a bit much for her taste. She followed it up with a glass of rosé and had no complaints after that. The cocktail wasn't the problem, it just wasn't her style. One of our favorite spots in Warren for a quick nibble, for a good reason.

Metacom Kitchen is a cozy, intimate bistro, and if you haven't been, you're missing out. The atmosphere pulls you in immediately; warm, unhurried, with just the right amount of low lighting. Behind the bar you'll find a handsome Parisian bartender crafting some of the most thoughtful cocktails around. On this particular visit, that meant an extra dirty gin martini and a chai old fashioned. Both were perfect. My partner and I love to graze, rather than commit to one big entrée, when we can. My partner's family calls it bits and bobs, and that is what we did on this particular visit. We ordered the Duck Plate featuring duck three ways, some picked veggies, a fruit mustard, and grilled focaccia crostini. The Candy Beets & Salsify, which featured jewel-toned beet cubes scattered across what can only be described as a snow of barrel aged feta, roasted salsify (I had to look these up and apparently, they are somewhere between a parsnip and a carrot with an almost oyster like flavor when cooked), topped with some fresh green herbs. The dish was so pretty I almost didn't want to eat it. The Chickpea Fries are exactly what they sound like, and are somehow so much more; golden, crispy little logs served with an A1 aioli that you will not stop eating. The Coriander & Sea Salt Chicken Wings rounded things out; a pile of beautifully seasoned wings with caramelized onions and thyme, paired with a spicy buttermilk dipping sauce that had just the right amount of heat. Everything was absolutely delicious, which is honestly an understatement. We never save room for dessert and that was the plan this time too, until someone nearby ordered a crème brûlée and my partner's head spun around. That's her kryptonite. The version that night had Kahlua in it, which is usually not our thing; but the torched top was a beautiful lacquered brown, the custard underneath was silky, and wow, we were scraping the ramekin. Chef Allaire really knows his stuff. He creates small, decadent bites with ingredients you'd never think to pair, and somehow it all makes perfect sense on the plate. I've always felt that a smaller menu leads to higher quality, and it's clear the kitchen is focused on doing each dish well. Hard to imagine other places keeping sixty menu items consistently good or fresh. Service remains reliable and welcoming. The only downside is parking, since you'll need to find a spot on the street nearby. Definitely recommended!

They have a daily menu, and I've had some friends suggest this place as their favorite restaurant. We parked blocks away due to the lack of adequate parking. Once we walked in, we were greeted with pleasant smiles from the staff. The menu was short, which we attributed to a focus on quality. We ordered a French onion dip and a littleneck entree as an app for the table. We were served with lukewarm water, neither cold nor hot. The apostle John might have been somewhat disappointed (Rev 3:16). The dip was decent but was somewhat lacking in great onion flavor. But nothing to complain about. The little necks were served in a small bowl and lacked a bit of salt. Rather pricey for $26, but this place charges $6 just for bread and butter, so maybe it's just inflation? Enter the entrees. They apparently were short on chicken legs so they asked to substitute chicken breast. Two of us got burgers. First the $20 burgers, which were served with an aioli with no offer of ketchup or other condiments. In short, both burgers were terrible. Far worse than we make at home. It's always a disappointment when you realize you're paying all this extra for food you can make better at home. The buns were shockingly flat, like someone smashed them by hand. Or in a McDonald's box. Come to think of it, the flavor was similar, though overall the hamburger was somewhat bitter, salty and lacked an appetizing flavor. Wow. We all agreed they were terrible. The fries were also burnt and over salted. My daughter quit on her $30 chicken, so I tried it. The sauce wasn't bad, and it was served with a decent brocollini. But the chicken was some of the driest I've had in a restaurant, with no crisp skin and a uniformly poor texture. No wonder no one finished their entrees. And I hate wasting food. So, as much as we would have wanted to give this place a great rating, we just won't be back. The service, although with a smile, was slow and terrible. Our candle burnt out in the middle of dinner. It was never relit. Our glasses were empty halfway through dinner. No refills on the tepid water. The entrees took an hour and a half before they came out (we were warned the chicken could take 30 min). Generally a very disappointing experience. Hard to explain the rave reviews but our Saturday dinner was a sad bust. The cold wet madeleines they provided in a doggie bag didn't do anything to help. Oh well. Hope y'all have a better experience if you go here.

We were having a lovely dinner in Warren and stopped into Bywater for a quick after-dinner drink. It was a bit cooler out but since they had no seats in the extremely limited bar area, we took the plunge and sat outside near their fire pits. They did not have many wines to choose from BTG which was disappointing. The one I had which was Cinsault was just ok. I had to dump out most of it since I did not enjoy it but that was my fault since sampling it I thought I liked it. My friend had the bartender make her a cocktail with grapefruit since they did not have pineapple. She was looking for a French martini but seemed to enjoy what they made her. My husband's espresso martini was very good I thought and light but could've used some bailey's. We already had dessert so we did not plan on anything else but I know I am interested in returning for dinner. The restaurant is very small inside but I loved the warm lights and decor. It was a very sexy and attractive vibe! If you are ever in Warren I highly recommend coming here for either drinks, dinner, or both. Dress warm if you plan on heading outside to sit near the fire...it does not give off that much heat! Cheers!

I was also pleased that their huge booth fit 4 of us comfortably & they were happy to add a chair at the end for our 5th guest. A basket of warm rolls was immediately placed on our table. The large menu had something for everyone in every price range. We started with drinks, all of which were good. My companion & I shared a bottle of Clean Slate Riesling ($33) which we enjoyed. She & I both ordered the baked sea scallop special, which came with 2 dinner sides for $24.99. The scallops were delicious but I would have been happier if my baked potato & steamed broccoli had been cooked just a few minutes longer. They were edible, just not quite as soft as I prefer. Our friends enjoyed their meals... citrus swordfish (also one of the specials), French onion soup & salad, and a chicken salad sandwich. My companion & I shared a piece of lemon meringue pie for dessert, which was good. It wasn't as big a serving as at some restaurants, but it was enough. I have no idea of the cost as prices are not listed on the dessert menu, a practice I dislike. I also didn't like the fact that I asked for a fork as I don't like eating cake or pie with a spoon & was told I couldn't have one as they were all needed. Our friends enjoyed their peanut butter pie & coconut cake. Our server was adequate. We had to chase her down to ask for water, lemon, etc. I understand she was very busy but a smile would have been nice. I do appreciate the fact that we were not rushed out, and we were allowed plenty of time to catch up with our friends. Also, the hostess was gracious enough to take a photo of our group as we were leaving the restaurant. This restaurant used to be the Country Inn on Market Street in Warren. They have a decent sized parking lot, although it seemed barely sufficient for the amount of volume they do. I would rate this restaurant a 3.5 if I had that option. Will I return? Probably not.

The wait was long(ish) but it was worth it. (I'd recommend a reservation though!!) Food was…read moredelicious and the servings were plentiful. I got the chicken and waffles which was enough for dinner and lunch the next day-- the waffles were SO GOOD (some of the best I've had) and the sweet potato fries were delicious. My friends got burgers which they loved. The tables are big and spaced out and comfortable. Ambiance is good and somewhere in between classy and casual. Totally recommend!
