SO happy I finally came here! They have a small free parking lot next to the building, street metered parking and free street parking in the surrounding neighborhood! It is literally JUST a window, no drive thru. They have seating around the building. If you do take it to go, the burger travels well but the fries do not. Service was good! They were very helpful with my questions and made sure to get my order correct. We got our order maybe 5-10 mins after ordering. The line was a little long but they move very quick! The food we ordered was very good! The burgers were great and the smores milkshake is a standout. The fries are normal fries, nothing special. The prices for the burger is a great deal. I would and will absolutely be coming back.

Stopped by The Win~Dow in Long Beach and got the double cheeseburger, fries, and strawberry shake. The burger was simple but really good, juicy, flavorful, and hit the spot without trying to do too much. Fries were crispy and went perfectly with it, and the strawberry shake was solid too, creamy and not overly sweet. Good food, quick service, and a chill spot for an affordable burger. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Long Beach and want something casual.

With a soft bun, flavorful patties, and cheese to glue it all together, biting into this burger is very rewarding. I also appreciated the type of fries they used, compliments a burger like that very well.

I visited this burger joint located at the corner of 2nd street, and while the aroma of the burgers was enticing, we decided to indulge in dessert instead. We got two dipped ice cream cones, and they truly satisfied our cravings. The servings were bigger than we anticipated, which was a nice surprise, and the ice cream was delicious and refreshing on a warm day. The burgers & fries being served from the kitchen looked and smelled fantastic, so we're likely to return to sample the burgers next time. It's a friendly place for a quick treat and an enjoyable experience overall.

I love the Win-Dow. I think they have some of the best smash burgers around, at a good price, and with the perfect menu size and offerings. I tried their strawberry milkshake and brussels spouts. Of course, it was so good. I will have to get a shake every time I come here now. The shakes are thick!! The brussels sprouts were also SO GOOD, crispy and zesty. I would definitely opt for these sometimes as a side, especially since I don't love their fries.

Heard so much about this place! And we always see it, as we are driving by. I came here for the 1st time, last year, with my friend who lives nearby. Yummy! And affordable. I came back another time, I think, with my son. And then, last week, with my husband. Not sure if it was my taste buds but this time, the burger was kind of too salty. The strawberry shake was yummy. The fries were good too. Maybe I'll give it another go, next time. Parking is a little tough, sometimes, but Cute spot though! Gotta try it at least once, guys!

The flies are a real mood killer while you wait for your food. I finally stopped by to try the smash burger and chicken sandwich. Both were really good. The star of the show was definitely the sauces. That dill sauce is fire. The lemonade was tart. Definitely a shocker. Chill spot.

So I was in LB to get some sun at the beach with my partner and dog. After we were done we checked out The Win-Dow for a bite to eat. I tried their Fried Chicken Sandwich and Cheeseburger. The chicken sandwich was nice & crispy and the cheeseburger was juicy, well seasoned, and soft! Also their Herby Ranch sauce was good too. The one item that made the experience was their Dipped Cone. Coming out the pick up window I saw a Green coated dip with a fudge swirl and Mint chocolate chip Ice cream that was just outstanding. Not too sweet nor over powering of mint. Overall I was happy with my first meal & dessert, I would come back again. The place also was nice too.

Seamless ordering with shockingly value priced food. Everything here is delicious. Smashburgers are great with good complimentary dipping sauces. Nice thick and creamy shakes. Brussel sprouts are good but could use a hint of honey or something to break the slight bitterness of it. The chicken sandwich has a great crunch with thick moist meat on the inside. Fries are decent as well. Good simple spot with quality foods and fantastic pricing, check em out

Found out about this small gem from my brother this is his spot! It's very busy late night but the service is fast. Nice cute place, outdoor seating , music and the food was hot and fresh and the workers are so sweet. I will definitely go back.. don't forget to try the kale salad and Brussels sprouts

Loved loved the Beauty Burger, crispy fried Brussels Sprouts with Herby Ranch dip, amazing Strawberry shake! But I really loved the venue. Hang out with wife and pooch eazy peezy, totally casual drive-in in So Cal style (Long Beach), tons of parking and near Sheldrakes for an iced mocha after! Life is good!

Well I drove 40 minutes to try Midday on a Tuesday! It was just ok. The burger was cooked perfectly but the option for no onions wasn't a choice. Not a fan of onions at all. The flavor was ok, the fries taste like they'd been fried in warm grease so they were oily. I was unaware to ask for condiments and in turn I could taste the entire meal! Staff was friendly. Only advice I'd give is to move the trash can that's right next to the pickup window. My daughter and I had the exact same order and she said it was good!

I gave the Win-Dow a two stars because a one star feels unreasonable. I have eaten here numerous times and it is pretty good for the most part. However, the thing that has always bugged me is their unwillingness to do no onions on their burgers. They say they can only do "light onions" due to it being smashed into the patty. Fine, I can live with that. However, today my wife and I both ordered zero or light onions and were unpleasantly met with onions smashed between each bun and each patty. I'm not sure if the kitchen just missed the light onions in red on the ticket (which i have a photo of, it is definitely on the ticket) or even worse they simply did not care.

Hi do you guys have grass fed beef?

Hi Cherida, The beef used in our patties does not come from grass-fed cows, but we do use a high-quality proprietary blend created specifically for our burgers. Hope that helps!

Anyone know what oil they use for cooking meat and the fries?

Hi Ali, we use canola oil. Hope that helps! :)

Can you order ahead of time for pickup?

Hi Gwen, Yes you can place an order through our website for pick up.

This place is great for meet-ups and groups that want to settle their own tab because you order first, pay, then are seated. (They help you find seating!) Parking: 7/10. This is a residential neighborhood and from what I saw, there was no parking lot so we had to find street parking. Facility: 9/10. The place isn't huge but it has indoor and outdoor seating. Flies may be an issue but I always bring eucalyptus spray to ward them away. The place was busy but they did a good job keeping it clean. Bathroom was clean! Food: Beef Bulgogi breakfast burrito: 9/10: I love breakfast burritos (I don't eat pork) but I hate fatty meat but was told it wasn't too fatty and it wasn't too bad. Very tasty and the pico was fresh and a perfect addition. I loved the crispiness of the tots inside and the flavors meshed well together. I would get this again! Side of turkey bacon! 10/10! For those that don't eat pork, this was a win. We didn't see it on the menu but I asked and they said they have it! Yaay!!! Croissant French toast: 8/10: this wasn't really traditional French toast (wasn't cooked in eggs). It was a croissant dipped in coconut milk with fresh fruit and whipped cream. I'm not a fan of the coconut taste so it wasn't my favorite but hubby seemed to like it. Drinks: Iced blueberry matcha xtra sweet & xtra blueberry flavor w/almond milk: 10/10. This was good and I'd get it again. They made it JUST how I requested it! Iced strawberry matcha w/almond milk: 10/10: This was good! Both matchas didn't have that dirt/earthy taste so they were both winners. Service: 10/10. Absolutely no issues from the order/service counter to the cute lady that bussed our dishes. Everyone was really nice. We will be back!

I recognize I only saw part of the interaction, so I don't know everything that led up to it. However, from what I witnessed, it was uncomfortable to watch an employee being lectured publicly. The interaction continued with repeated calls for her to "smile" in front of customers, which only made the situation more awkward for everyone nearby. Sadly, this isn't the first time I've observed this type of behavior. One of the reasons I continue to come back is because the staff--from Mary to the newer members of the team--are consistently friendly, hardworking, and provide excellent service. They deserve to be treated with the same respect they show their customers. The food and service were excellent, but watching an employee be publicly reprimanded put a damper on what otherwise would have been a great breakfast. The only reason I'm not giving this restaurant 5 stars is because of the owner's behavior. The food and the staff were excellent, but watching an employee be publicly reprimanded in front of guests significantly took away from what otherwise would have been a wonderful experience.

Cool, they can make it. what I got was a cup of coffee in a to go cup (even though I was dining in) with milk and a foam, so really what I got was a flat white. the other coffee ordered was a latte which was pretty standard I ordered the chicken sandwich ($12) which comes on a biscuit and a side of fruit, to round it out I also ordered the yogurt bowl which is yogurt and granola. When the sandwich came out it looked rather disappointing. The biscuit itself is small, probably the size of a Pillsbury dough biscuit, and the chicken wasn't much bigger. nothing else on it like a green, coleslaw, sauce, etc. just these two items. However, it did come with a side of a honey butter. the side of fruit was about 8 pieces split between pineapple, melon, and grapes. the whole sandwich was dry, which can be expected from a biscuit, but this was just too dry for me. the yogurt bowl($8) came in a small bowl that had a large flaring, basically the entire dish was large but the bowl portion was small. I eat yogurt everyday and the amount you get is probably half the size of a standard serving of yogurt (170g) and it was sparsely sprinkled with granola. my partner ordered a chorizo burrito ($15) and while she raved about the flavor the size of it was laughable, especially considering there are plenty of spots in LB that serve double or even triple the size of this burrito at or near the same price lastly, and the most disappointing of all, was the cinnamon roll($8). they were on display at the register and figured yeah I want one of those and instead of giving it to me right then and there it was brought with the rest of the food but it was not warmed up, which made me question why I waited for it. It was rool temp, burnt, and hard. I do want to try other items but the price you pay for what you get, especially considering this experience I had, is off putting.

As far as atmosphere, it's a very pleasant cafe to eat at! Very open and airy layout with a decent amount of seating. The service has been moderately friendly. Maybe we'll try their drinks and pastries again simply because we live so close, but it's certainly not our favorite local spot for those items.
