I had driven past this place maybe a half dozen times before I gave it a try. I was craving wings that evening and tried to use Yelp to place an order. For whatever reason, this app would not process the order so I used Grubhub instead and it worked right away. Yelp may want to work on that. I placed my order and was happy to see my order would be ready in twenty minutes. I arrived twenty minutes later, and asked about my order, but it was not ready. The place was pretty busy, so I didn't mind waiting. After about another ten minutes, I could hear someone from the kitchen mention my name, grubhub, and that they had mixed up the order. About ten minutes later, I had my food. I will say that while I waited I was able to overhear that this is a family owned establishment. The wife was working the register and the husband was in the back running the kitchen. The inside was decorated with all things Houston sports. There were big TVs and while there was no beer on tap I saw, they did have a good selection of bottled beer. It made me think this would be a great place to watch a game and if you're a Houston sports fan, an even better place. I had ordered 12 wings with two different boss sauces - mango habanero and the hot honey. I forwent the side of fries for fried okra. The wings were massive and you could choose breaded or not. I went with breaded. They were perfectly cooked - crispy skin outside, moist meat on the inside. the mango habanero was no where near as Spicy as others but still very good. The hot honey was a perfect blend of sweet and spice. It was a unique spice for wings I had not tried before this place. The fried okra was excellent. Crispy fried outside with a nice pop and chewy, with a well seasoned batter. I enjoyed everything I ate and if the mix up had not occurred, it would have been a five star visit.
