Our fav date night spot from the service to the ambiance, it hits all the marks. The food is to die for. Filet mignon with peppercorn sauce is my go to. I would avoid it on the weekend during snow season!! But even then, they do a pretty good job not making you wait too long-

This was my first time going to the Wobbly Barn and not my last!! My friends recommended the duck and I am very pleased with my decision to get it! We waited about 10 minutes for a table and once we ordered our food it came out in a reasonably timely manor. The interior is a perfect compliment to a ski trip. Lighting and decor is fashioned in a 'rustic ski lodge' feel. I WILL be coming back and as much as I want to get the duck again... I can't wait to try the other dishes as well!

Best filet mignon. Presentation could be better but flavor was there. The chocolate cake was also very good. My server was also really cool.

I stopped by Wobbly Barn after a full day of skiing at the Killington Ski Resort. One of the staff members there gave me a coupon to get a free appetizer so my group decided to check out this place.Turns out that Killington also owns Wobbly Barn so it makes sense that they would promote it at the ski resort. Overall, the environment of the place was great. There's an upstairs with a stage for performances and a bar. Downstairs is where the restaurant is with another bar. Service was very nice and everyone was friendly. Keep in mind that this place is a steakhouse, so all of the dishes have steakhouse prices. The 3 dollar signs is accurate. tuna tartare - tasted good. My recommendation would be to let up on the avocado a bit, I feel like it took away from the tuna. Maybe they were trying to mask mediocre tuna? I still enjoyed the appetizer though. braised short rib - VERY tender, delicious, would highly recommend. Unlimited Salad Bar (~16? I forgot, I'm guessing) - which comes with 2 high quality soups: I think they had a chili with filet mignon. The salad bar is pretty expansive so it wouldn't be considered a poor choice.

    Sirloin steak!

The place is great. I just find that the prices are $3-$5 more than they should be. They seem like NYC prices and we ain't in NYC. I think the salad bar should come included with a $35+ steak. So outside of some pricing stuff, the food is awesome! My sirloin steak was cooked perfectly! Medium rare goodness. The seasoned butter on top was decadent and lush. Mmmm. The salad bar is great and has tons of options. Highly recommend the wasabi cucumber dressing. Loved it! The chicken Normandy I had a bite of and it was juicy and well seasoned. Definitely would get that the next time in Killington :) Overall, very good. Just be mindful this isn't the cheap place to come and eat in killington.

    The band

If you're looking for fun nightlife in downtown Killington, then Wobbly Barn should definitely be on the agenda. By name it's a steakhouse, but you'll only find a sit-down dining room on the lowest level. The other two levels are a massive bar / nightclub area, with a stage for live music and plenty of space to get yo' drank and dance on. Although the bar boasts an open and airy space, on a Friday night during NYE weekend it was slammed. There was still plenty of space in the stage area for some dancing, but it took 20 minutes every time we grabbed a drink. Not Wobbly's fault that they were super packed for a holiday, but they definitely could have had more then two bartenders behind the main bar. Slow bar service aside, we had a killer time here and I'm happy that we came. Cover will run you 10 bucks which seems very typical in the area, especially considering that they've got a live band. The band was entertaining and watching them sing covers of 90s pop bands plus free coat check and shuttle services definitely made up for the charge! Special shouts to Bobby who was one of the nicest bar bouncers that I've met in a while. Although Wobbly Barn's free shuttle didn't go to our ski house, he called a bunch of other shuttles for us to make sure that we could find a ride home. If it wasn't for him, I'd possibly still be stuck at Wobbly which wouldn't be very good. Come here for a fun night out on the ski town when you want to drink and dance shamelessly to a cover band!

On March 21, we had a reservation, but when we arrived, no one addressed us for about 20 minutes. When we finally spoke to the "hostess", she mentioned that we were assigned a table "out back," which sounded unappealing (though it turned out to be fine). She then informed us that it was really busy and "it could be a while". I said back to her "well, that's a bad start", she said "I know". The whole restaurant had a strong fishy smell, which shouldn't happen with fresh seafood. No one came over to greet us until we decided to go to the bar to find a server. It was the same server who was attending to the table next to us, and she only acknowledged us after we spoke up. She didn't take our drink orders or offer us water. After we finally ordered drinks, we waited 20 minutes only to discover our drinks sitting at the bar--our martinis had already become warm. As for the food, the Rib Eye steak was perfect, but the Shrimp and Scallop Scampi was terrible, and the other pasta dishes with lobster were just okay. Overall, it was a disappointing experience with mediocre food and inattentive staff. I will not be returning to this restaurant again.

We chose Morgan & Company to celebrate our wedding anniversary after I specifically requested a…read moregift certificate to dine there because I had been looking forward to the experience. Sadly, it ended up ruining what should have been a special evening. I began with the French onion soup. The menu described it as being served with a crouton, but what arrived was two large pieces of bread with only the thinnest drizzle of melted cheese. Anyone who enjoys classic French onion soup knows the hallmark of the dish is a generous blanket of bubbling cheese, with the bread hidden underneath. I politely mentioned this to our server, who took it back to the kitchen. What came back was astonishing. Instead of remaking the soup properly, the kitchen simply added two more pieces of bread--for a total of four slices--and again barely covered them with cheese. At that point I declined the manager's offer to make it a third time. After seeing what the kitchen considered an acceptable correction, I had completely lost confidence. For my entrée, I ordered the coconut shrimp and added the glazed spare ribs. Unfortunately, both were overwhelmed by an extremely sweet, thick, sticky glaze. The coconut shrimp themselves may have been very good had the sauce been served on the side so diners could decide how much to use. Instead, every bite was drenched in sweetness. The ribs had virtually the same heavy glaze, and even the green beans and carrots were swimming in a sweet sauce. The entire plate tasted like dessert rather than dinner. I barely touched it and simply had it boxed to take home so we could wash off the sauces ourselves. My husband ordered the bouillabaisse, which had the opposite problem--it was surprisingly bland and lacked the rich seafood flavor one expects from that classic dish. Rather than complain yet again, he also boxed it up so we could season it ourselves at home. By 8:30 on a Sunday evening we were still hungry and began searching for another restaurant, only to discover that most nearby kitchens were closing at 9:00. We ended up grabbing Chinese takeout just so we could have something to eat on our wedding anniversary. The evening became even more disappointing considering the cost. We ordered a $150 bottle of Cabernet, bringing our bill to approximately $300 before tip. Spending that amount for a celebratory dinner and then leaving hungry to find another meal elsewhere is not an experience I ever expected. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, and I generally give restaurants every opportunity to make things right. In this case, however, the problems extended well beyond a single dish. Between the mishandled soup, the excessively sweet entrées, the bland bouillabaisse, and ultimately having to find another dinner after spending hundreds of dollars, this was an anniversary dinner we will remember for all the wrong reasons. I sincerely hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously, because it has the potential to be much better than what we experienced.

I started with the shrimp cocktail, followed by the surf and turf, which included a filet mignon and a lobster tail. The shrimp cocktail was served hot. It was actually good, but it was the first hot shrimp cocktail I've ever had, so it was a bit unusual. When my surf and turf arrived, the filet was overcooked and the lobster tail was undercooked. When the bartender asked how everything was, I told her. She responded that they could put the lobster tail back on the grill to cook it longer, but there was nothing they could do about the filet. I agreed to have the lobster tail cooked a bit more. Unfortunately, when it came back, it was overcooked to the point that it felt as though the chef was trying to make a point rather than fix the problem. This is a one-and-done restaurant for me.

My experience at Jesse's could not have been better. The menu is generally spartan on chicken, but, on the night of my visit, Chicken Teriyaki was a nightly special. The Chicken Teriyaki could not have been better. The chicken was not the usual restaurant/Sysco rubbery chicken variety, but, instead, real, plump chicken breasts. The only thing missing was some extra teriyaki sauce (the chicken was a little on the dry side), and in a matter of seconds, it appeared. Jesse's has long been a reliable, staple in the Hanover community, and it has maintained that distinction. Jesse's once, fabulous salad bar, is reduced to a memory, but, I think that went the way of Covid 19, and has not been seen again.
