Update 7/24/26: At this point im genuinely concerned for the owner. Someone needs to check if he's okay. He asked me if Egg Drop Soup was okay. I said yes. He brought me the salad instead. I tried to bring it up to him and he said its one or the other. I told him he asked and i said yes. I dont think he's okay. Also, the food still sucks.

Walnut Shrimp lunch. Fantastic. I have never seen bigger shrimps. 2 egg rolls, big cup of soup & choice of rice or chowmein. Julie A

I saw ads for The Wok off of Oddie in Reno, but I had never gone...until Saturday with my Mom. Five Star. What a nice restaurant! Excellent Food, Great service and very nice ambiance. We ordered lunch specials and the cup of egg flower soup was big and hot. The walnut Shrimp was so delicious with the biggest Shrimp's I have ever had. You also had a choice of rice and Chow mein. It was fantastic. It was on Saturday and the shopping center was buzzing with activity, the restaurant was a lovely Asian atmosphere and we will definitely cone back again. You really should try this hidden Asian treasure in sparks. Julie A

I was really hoping to have a better review after giving this place a second chance. Both times our service was slow and almost non-existent. My appetizers took an hour to hit the table and weren't even good (the restaurant was half full and they appeared fully staffed). My wor won ton soup had no flavor and the meat was too chewy. I chose 3 stars instead of 2 because the sushi rolls were half decent.

Shrimp and asparagus in black bean sauce

Stopped in for dinner today. The place was quite busy, music pretty loud, lights quite dim. Service was good, my waitress was very pleasant and my food came pretty quickly. The menu is more about half sushi, but they have a pretty good selection of typical Chinese dishes. I love black bean sauce, and wears in the mood for something a bit lighter after being on the road all day so opted for the shrimp & asparagus in black beans sauce. Plenty of shrimps and asparagus, but the latter was a little tough. The asparagus stalks were quite thin, and the thinner ones can sometimes be a bit tough. The flavor of the sauce was excellent, with plenty of white rice to soak it up! Heat level was perfect - broke out in a sweat, but not too hot to eat. Overall I was pleased and would definitely go back the next time I'm in town.

Decided to come for Saturday dinner. Not too crowded. It was a quiet night. Service was fast and efficient. Unfortunately, the waiter didn't come back to check on us. We waited to ask another employee for our take-out box and bill.

This place gets busy. On hold for 8.5 minutes. Got to restaurant and still no answer. Ordered the salt n pepper chicken plus egg rolls. Chicken was tasty enough. The egg rolls were tasty enough but small. Service was a bit slow but as I mentioned they were busy. I need to cone here for sushi someday. Overall not bad

A pleasant surprise with modest prices and tasty Chinese fare. The staff is both courteous and attentive and the décor is well done.

Some of our favorites are the Sichuan Chicken or Shrimp, Mandarin Chicken, Sesame Chicken, BBQ Pork appetizer, Chicken Salad, and Won Ton Soup. There's definitely something for everyone! We've also ordered delivery, and if they don't have a driver available, they've used DoorDash drivers instead. The nice thing is that our total cost didn't change, which we really appreciate! Whether we order takeout or dine in, we've never been disappointed. The food has consistently been good, the prices are reasonable, and there's plenty to choose from. Definitely a place we're happy to keep coming back to! Sorry forgot to take updated pix

NEVER AGAIN. I went in to make a "to-go" order. The lady (I…read morebelieve she was the owner) who took my order informed me that soup wasn't included in the combination dinner plates - but the price was the same. ??? She was fairly argumentative, but she smiled the whole time. Asked if I could order soup to go (just to see what the reason was for no soup on the combos) and she said I COULD order soup...so my theory of "no soup because they didn't have containers for it" went out the window. I did NOT order soup. Ordered extra beef in the beef and broccoli plate $4 extra. Well I would hate to see what it would have looked like without the extra beef. There is NO way extra beef was added. The general's chicken was mostly breading, as was the sweet and sour pork. The rice was awful. Very mushy and not tasty. All in all, the food was awful. Asked for a glass of Chardonnay while I waited. I was informed I could have white zin or red wine. Most definitely will not be patronizing this establishment again due to poor customer service, unfair pricing, and low-quality food.

There no dedicated way to turn left into the lot, but lucky this time I not in a rig pulling trailer like 6 years ago, so I just swing this big SUV in a sort of u-turn and go in. Lots of parking in the lot for this buffet. The price has gone up from 6 years ago ... it's around $14 per person now. The selection of food is still just one steam table, but there still plenty to choose from and some unusual dishes I've not seen before. I'm here with my crew and they love buffets, cause these guys can eat all they want and everybody is happy to find something they like to eat. There are no American choices here like some buffets, like pizza and french fries. Some of the dishes I'd not seen before at buffets are these chopped oysters served on foil, or boneless ribs (really just sliced up pork shoulder cooked Chinese way), and steamed clams. The green beans were so fresh and crunchy cooked perfect. I was impressed all the food was cooked so well, compared to come Chinese buffets. The selection is smaller here but the quality is better than most. Everybody left full and happy and this is right near the hotel we're staying, so we might even come back again!

I know when you see the word "express" in the restaurant name, I'm not gonna expect some kinda authentic Asian experience. It's gonna be fast food American Chinese kinda food. I'll just get the food and bring it back to the hotel and we'll eat there. Going in, there's actually space to eat there if you want. Not a big dining area but decent enough. The menus are all up on the walls as well as online. Amazing this Chinese restaurant has an actual working website! Most Chinese places have no website, or just basic to place orders. Placing the orders was no prob. I see they have a lot of "bowl" dishes sort of set up for the single diner. I think a lot of workers come here to get food. There's a ton of workers of all types in this area, but no one actually lives out here by the Gigafactory and related places. I ordered, general chicken, house chow mien, a couple of orders of pot stickers, honey walnut shrimp and house fried rice. That should be enough food. I didn't have to wait too long and the food was packed and ready. Good thing the hotel is just a few minutes away and the food stayed nice and hot. We unpacked the food and used some plates from the hotel. I pretty much know what the crew likes, so everybody was happy. The general chicken was a pretty good version. Decent food for a place out here at the industrial park.

The food was fine, but it honestly reminded me of lower quality Chinese food you might find at a gas station. It filled me up, but the flavor was nothing special or memorable. The service was the highlight of the visit. Even during the lunch rush, the staff was excellent and got my food out quickly, which I really appreciated. As for the ambiance, it was very typical and nothing stood out. Simple seating and a basic setup, which matched the no frills feel of the place. Overall, decent service and fast food, but the food quality and atmosphere keep it at a solid three star experience.
