What a cute bar in downtown! It gave me major NY and 1920s vibes, and I live for places that have that old-school feel. The bartenders took great care of us and made some delicious drinks. The ambiance is low-lit with good music, making it the perfect spot for a date night or catching up with friends. Definitely loved the vibe here!

This stunning Parisian saloon-style bar has been in my radar for quite some time. I was excited to attend an event here featuring mixologists from Mexico City's acclaimed cocktail bar Form+Matter. FOMA is a highly regarded, experimental cocktail establishment that has earned a reputation for blending science & creativity to craft innovative drinks that challenge the senses. Prepare to be in awe when you enter The Wolves. The elegant décor did not disappoint and the stained glass ceiling is amazing. The private event featured FOMA's top mixologist working alongside some of The Wolve's mixologists. I tried one of FOMA's signature libations - Isla Bonita (Milagro Reposado, Vanilla, Pineapple, Passion Fruit, Lemon, & Milk). In addition to one of The Wolves specialty cocktails - Jamaiquita (Milagro Blanco, Hibiscus, Pineapple, Cinnamon, Basil, & soda). Both drinks were expertly crafted, perfectly balanced, and a delight on the palate. Since it was a party there was live entertainment and delicious food from the kitchen that was served buffet style in the charming loft area. I'm glad I finally got to check this place out and am looking forward to coming back. *Metered street parking or nearby lots.

A favorite of ours. Interior is amazing such a cool vibe drinks are super delicious bartenders really know what they're doing. They take their time and do it right. This is a hidden gem and I wanted to share it with everyone. We have a certain table. We sit at every time in the corner and I always unscrew the lightbulb to dim it just a little bit more love that they have a balcony up on top overlooking the street. You can smoke outside if you want to, sometimes recommending hidden gems is not always the best thing because it draws in so many more people I would love to keep this place to myself, but it's too good not to share if you're in the LA area I totally Recommend. Security guards out front very nice staff inside very friendly totally recommend this place.

I love how The Wolves transformed a normal space in DTLA into a charming bar with fascinating architecture. Popping in for a drink and a bite to eat while waiting to attend an event - was so worth it! I love how unique the ingredients are in the cocktails. Both the "Let Them Talk" and "1920's" were delicious! I barely tasted the brandy in the "Let Them Talk" - it was more lavender-forward which I liked! Our server was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed.

Have i found my new favorite spot? Just may have! Stepping into here is like being transported back into history. Their happy hours are 5-7pm and honestly, can't go wrong with ANY here. One of my favorite is The Reyna - the coconut foam is so nice to the overall drinks. The food is also great! Fries were crispy as requested and the burger had a lovely caramelized onions. I went two nights in a row and still SO many things I want to try so definitely will be back and bringing my friends!

Boozy cocktails in an old-school looking bar. Went for drinks and sat in a booth - had a few different whiskey drinks, all were stronger but well put together. The vibe was good and the decor was pretty sweet, with painted glass and lots of wood. Would come back for a few drinks!

Gorgeous bar with historic low light ambiance. The cocktail lounge is rich in personality, craft drinks, and has a warm welcoming staff. I came here for the first time with my girlfriend recently for a couple drinks before the hardcore nightlight stuff later. This place was a great starter but only in the best ways! It's definitely an upscale bar but without the shallow exclusive energy that some other upscale joints give off. The atmosphere is very intimate and in my opinion the perfect place for a date with drinks and bites. Their kitchen has good options for bar food and the cocktails are truly artisan. I enjoyed their tiger blood the most. This drink can be made to be a serving for 2 and comes in a fancy science lab looking glass with smoke leaking out the top. Its presentation was only half as good as its actual taste. It Was plenty boozy with rich citrus flavor. My girlfriend and I have been plotting on returning to try a few more drinks soon with friends..

Love love love this bar. Its interior is truly a work of art and feels like walking into a period piece movie upon arrival. The drinks were phenomenal and service was pretty quick. It's allegedly haunted too ‍ Will definitely keep coming back

Parking: There is a parking lot right next door. The sign says $5 for the first 10 mins, afterward it can be charged up to $15 max. This place is catered for the more sophisticated and chill crowd. Great drinks and great ambiance but really hard to find open seating on the weekend. The layout of the bar doesn't allow you to stand and drink because all the available space is made to get from one place to another. There are 3-4 small tables upstairs and outdoor seating. However, if you're coming here to experience the haunted history of the establishment, probably come on the weekdays when the crowds are less heavy. During the weekend, you can't feel much of the spookiness but the bar does feel a bit chilly. 19th century: Bourbon is smooth, strong, and spicy with a heavier alcoholic scent to the drink. 1920s: Whisky, very smooth. Lighter, less impactful spice with an orange peel scent to the drink.

Spooky, antique vibes, great drinks! This place has you looking around at all the amazing details of the bar while drinking a delicious drink. This place is a must!

Walking into the bar felt like I was transported to early 1900s such a beautiful building inside and out. We arrived as soon as they opened so we were able to grab a seat at the bar and move to the balcony soon after. We ordered the Tigers Milk decanter for 2, it was complete masterpiece! Highly recommend it was smooth and the perfect amount of Smokey. Our second drink was Agua Buena when he describe it as agua chile inspired I was skeptical. To my surprise it was tasty and refreshing. We also snacked on some garlic parm fries which were also great. All in all I absolutely loved this place and would recommend!

Food was amazing. Everything we ordered, we thought the drinks are gonna be GOOD and food would be just "ok". However, once we took a bite out of every dish we amazed! I don't even know which plate was better. Loved the deviled eggs and flatbread was d diddly delicious! The entire layout was gorgeous. Loved the ceiling and the upstairs was so cute, although quite tight, it seems very intimate. Good service. I'll have to tell everyone about this place.

What a cute lil gem! You'd absolutely miss it if you didn't know what you were looking for. Making drinks became an art form which complimented the actual drink itself. Husband had the dirty martini that came with the burger combo. I had the 19th Century and it was a deeee-light! The duck wings were also great, especially when being topped with cilantro. It reminded us of a mini turkey leg, which was a pleasant surprise. The burger was also good. The taste reminded me of french onion soup lol. Upgrade to garlic fries, it didn't have that strong bite that not-so-freshly chopped garlic would have! Great place to have drinks and food with friends. It seems like it can get pretty crowded though. Make sure you visit the area upstairs, both the inside seats and outdoor seating! 19th Century drink 10/10 Duck wings 8/10 Burger 7/10 Garlic fries 8/10

I was instantly so glad we chose this spot to celebrate our anniversary because it was the perfect setting for a romantic date night. Now, let's talk about the food! Everything we ordered was delicious, with the exception of the Korean aguachiles, which we probably could've skipped. We also tried the bluefin bibimbap, oysters, and the oh-so-tender short rib that practically melted in our mouths. But the most unforgettable dish was also the simplest: the Korean fried chicken. It wasn't necessarily something out of the ordinary, but it sure tasted like it. The perfect crisp, flavor, and seasoning had us eating every last piece right down to the bone. Our server also made the experience even better. She gave us some of the best recommendations and were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout the entire meal. I think I ended up paying $12 and added tip on top of that. The restaurant itself is cozy. Everyone was dressed up~ so I'd say this place is a little more dressy than casual. The menu isn't too expensive, which is kind of nice. The korean aguachile was yummy and reminiscent of dongchimigooksu type of broth. The crispy kimchi pancake was divided into six parts and topped with some greens with a side of dipping sauce. This was yummy, but if you've had Korean pancake before this is pretty standard. The creamy chicken broth and fresh noodle was also a nice little soup to share. I don't recall anything, particularly stand out about this dish though. Stir fried hen of the woods mushroom: this is a nonspicy ddukbokki with mushroom. It was a good dish for the vegetarian minded friend at the table. :) Finally, I thought the short rib was the best dish we had that evening. It was nicely cooked and seasoned, and incredibly tender to eat. Service was attentive, and everyone was very kind. Overall, a very pleasant experience and would come again.

The atmosphere is immersive, theatrical, moody, and every nook and cranny of this place is beautifully detailed. Our group embraced the requested all-black dress code, and I was a little disappointed that some other guests didn't play along. When a place puts this much effort into creating a particular world, dressing the part really does make the experience more fun. The spirits themselves were excellent. We tasted vodka, whiskey, and rum, and all three were remarkably smooth, interesting, and clearly very high quality. I loved that the tasting was guided rather than just having drinks dropped in front of us. The storytelling and presentation made us pay attention to what we were actually tasting and gave the evening a nice sense of progression. We also happened to be there while comic artist Matt Harley of Marvel fame was sketching, which felt perfectly suited to the setting and made an already unusual night even more memorable. The space is gorgeous: candlelight, artwork, strange little details everywhere, dramatic lighting, beautiful glassware, and even the outdoor fire element. There's so much to look at that you feel like you're discovering something new every time you turn around. Our whole group LOVES Halloween, so this felt like the absolute perfect way to kick off spooky season. It has exactly the kind of dark, mysterious, slightly magical atmosphere we were hoping for without feeling cheesy or gimmicky. We loved the rum so much that we ended up buying a bottle, which also granted us Level 1 membership, so this definitely won't be our only visit. Such a fun choice for a birthday celebration, date night, or a night out with friends when you want something completely different from the usual bar experience.
