A very big plus for an Iranian restaurant. Usually they're packed. I think it's because the location is not as visible, and the Bay Area has a few other Iranian restaurants that dominate the market. So it's nice to see a different place. I only ordered the combo koobideh(beef&chicken). Took about 10 minutes, the staff was really friendly, the space looked very clean and good for family occasions. Food was ready, and I was excited, zoomed home and opened the box and the smell just made me fall in love. Btw it was Valentine's Day lol.. so this was a gift to myself. The RICE was the masterpiece. Nice and buttery(not too much) and saffron yellow. This itself was a star of the show. Both the beef and the chicken were very flavorful, of course I had to put sumac to add more flavor. We did end up getting koobideh, heart and veggies. Everything was absolutely delicious for an amazing price. The koobideh was juicy and flavorful, better than most persian restaurants nowadays. The heart was also good, but definitely not something for everyone. I am excited to come back to try the liver/kidney if all of this was so good! You can call beforehand for takeout because it does take around 20-30 minutes for it to be ready. I called multiple times trying to place an order and no one was picking up. When I walked in I saw it was only one guy working and he apologized for not answering as they had a large order. The guy was super sweet and apologetic, which made me give the full 5 review.

Finally, having a giant bowl of after dinner mints just sitting at the front, with no cover is truly disgusting and unsanitary!! I wonder if they have a current Certificate from the Public Health Department...
