He was able to provide suggestions for alternatives, and even had the app, Untapped, readily available to browse for bottle & draft selections. Overall, the party ordered two kids' meals, a chicken finger dinner, and the shaved rib sandwich, with a side salad substituted for the french fries. I did have to ask for the sauces meant to accompany the shaved rib sandwich, as they weren't detectable, horsey sauce, that I felt didn't have much "kick" & chimichurri, which was delicious both alone and when mixed with the horsey sauce. Other than that, the portions were huge and everyone left supremely satisfied. I came here for lunch on a weekday and it was not crowded at all: perfect since I'm on a time limit. We were immediately seated and had a very attentive waitress. Default waters were brought to our table, which I thought was a good touch since it seems that whenever you order water, it seems to go over like a fart in a bag. The menu is IMMENSE! Their menu is very clear in stating that their portions are "huge" so that prepares one when choosing an entree. I ordered a classic Reuben and my friend ordered the eggplant Parmesan bites. The food came out in roughly 20 minutes; the Reuben was thick and the "bites" were for those of gargantuan status. However, the food itself was very delicious. The corned beef was so tender, but it didn't need to be piled so high. I wound up taking some out of the sandwich. The parm bites were good, but we thought they would be little fried balls or parm; instead it was like leftover eggplant parm all mixed up. I do have to say I was disappointed in the French fries - they looked good but taste was plain and frozen. As they have so many items that come with fries and charge a decent amount for their food, I would suggest they don't skimp on that (so many people look forward to that side), and look into better tasting fries. Yesterday my husband and I went to the Yelling Goat and sat at the bar. What a wonderful experience; from the wait staff, to the bar staff, to the food, everything was outstanding. We split the calamari which was excellent and then we split the prime rib which was probably one of the best prime ribs I've had in a very very long time. I can honestly say there is not been a time that I've gone to this restaurant that I have been disappointed. I would highly recommend. Yes it is a little pricey but what isn't nowadays... Stopped in with my boyfriend (for him) a roast beef with gravy for his fries and I ordered sliders. I wanted 1 of each kind. The menu is misprinted with a comma in the incorrect place which the bartender pointed out but was able to order what I wanted HOLD THE BBQ SAUCE! Everything was so delicious! Our waitress was super attentive and helpful. The only things that weren't amazing was that we always check out the menu before we go somewhere.... so I chose a spicy pasta for dinner that night. When we went to order I was informed that was no longer on the menu. The menu is huge so there's a lot of options, but I was really excited for that dish. The beer menu is online... we couldn't get a connection initially so we didn't order a beer. My friends and I had a lovely dinner here last night. There were six in our party and we did make a reservation ahead of time to ensure we'd get a table. We were seated promptly and our server, Kailee, was fantastic. She was very attentive, but not pushy when we wanted to chat instead of order and then spent some time after we were done also taking time to chat before leaving. We did not order any appetizers, but for dinner we ordered two of the YG Burgers (each slightly tailored), two Flight of Flat-Heads, Fettuccine Alfredo, and Mushroom Tortellini. We did not have to wait very long for the meals to come out and everything was hot. We all enjoyed what we ordered and there was enough food for most of us to have leftovers to take home. Waiting!!! I can only really talk about the wait time - which was excessive at over an hour for sandwiches and sliders. It was busy, but not that busy. The atmosphere was loud; they have acoustic problems such that you can't even hear your dining partners talk. The food was mediocre at best. My Mother thought her turkey / pastrami sandwich was both over cooked and undercooked and didn't eat half of it. She also had a salad, which she said, "was mostly weeds" - usually salads are a mix of greens and iceberg / this was only greens. My sister had hot stuffed pepper on her slider which was barely visible. My onion rings were really good, but my alleged Texas Toast grilled cheese was not thick enough to be Texas Toast, nor did have the proper buttery / garlic flavor. The bacon was overly crisp and the cheese was not plentiful as described. Also my unsweetened tea was warm with zero ice in it. Today was probably about my 4th or 5th time here. They have a HUGE menu, and so far everything I've had has been delicious. I have had their burgers, and wood fired pizza here. Today, I had the "Blue Tantulus Burger." Hands down one of the best burgers in WNY for any blue cheese lover. The ground beef is perfectly sesasoned and has a nice seared crust. The middle is stuffed with blue cheese deliciousness, and is topped with delicious caramelized onions, and porcini mushrooms. I'm usually not a mushroom fan, but these are truly delightful on the burger. The burger itself is huge, so cutting it in half makes it more manageable. My only constructive criticism would be the side dish dept. Everything is served with fresh fries. They are good, but not the most spectacular fries I've ever had...especially when paired with a dynamite burger. It is just surprising considering how comprehensive their menu is, that the only side option for sandwiches and burgers is fries. Despite the fries, I highly recommend this place. This is my favorite place for pizza in Western New York. Their dough is definitely homemade and the crust is to die for. Not to mention the vast array of options they have for their pizzas. But then what do I know. What to get: Goat Cheese Pizza and Ethiopian Wings. Yes I know that sounds sh**. It's not sh**. Trust me. What not to get: An Ethiopian Goat. They tend to get really homesick, like your sister didn't when she was staying in my bedroom last week. If it were a storage bin where you smell-test things, it'd be "The Smelling Tote." If it were a disclaimer on a bottle of hair gel, it'd be "The Gelling Note." If it were a small vessel that helps you descend into a well, it'd be "The Welling Boat." And it would put the lotion on its skin or it would get the hose again. But it's not, so let's get to the good stuff. I took my best friend for dinner here in Lancaster at a fancy-ish but not-that-fancy type of pub-food place which usually I would find awful, based on the ambitious and multi-genre type of food menu they're offering. I was delighted to discover that my expectations were completely unfounded. The food here is spectacular, and very well worth the slightly higher prices than the restaurants I usually go to. The girl who was serving us was an absolute doll of an angel, and other than being very attractive, she hadn't been there long and was so eager to please us, giving us a couple of free appetizers because we couldn't decide which ones we wanted, and generally providing everything imaginable for us. This earned her a massive and deserved tip. On the other hand, one of the senior waitresses was absolutely nightmarish, and we witnessed her being very rude (and borderline abusive) to the new girl on 2 separate occasions. The new girl also apologized for taking our food to the wrong table and was shaken up about it - she'd clearly gotten in big trouble for it. We didn't care, but we absolutely hated the way the senior waitress was talking to her. Lucky for the senior woman that I don't secretly own this place, because she'd have been fired instantly. That's how bad the attitude was. Now as for the food, everything was wonderful. Especially the Goat Cheese Pizza, which sounds so f***ing pretentious that I expected to be atrocious, and was wonderful. Usually, when Americans try to make actual Italian-style pizza they fail so miserably I can't even bring myself to write a review of it. In this case, they succeeded, and while it's not quite Italian, and nothing like American Pizza, it's just really good, and when it tastes this good, who cares what it's supposed to be. I highly recommend you order this. The other must-try are the Ethiopian Wings. Again, I thought they sounded pretentious and would come out awful. I thought wrong. They were delicious, juicy, very interestingly spiced, and fried to perfection. Bravo. A really excellent and innovative invention in this strangely African-influenced eatery, especially in terms of the decor. In terms of sides, the Au Gratin potatoes are wonderful. Good mushrooms. The Eggplant Parm is really good but doesn't compare to the miraculous pizza and wings. The salad is pretty cool and atypical. Perhaps the only thing better than the food here is the company that I was with. So glad that this meal worked out wonderfully since she was the one that suggested it, and if it sucked, I have the bad habit of being brutally honest about it, especially on Yelp. That's why I get paid the big bucks. And if that doesn't get your goat, what will. Anyway, speaking of goats, they're horned, and so am I, so let's get to my room and get yelling. Went on a quiet Monday night with my mom, who can be hard to please when it comes to dining out. Well, happy to say she was impressed and said she would definitely be back! I recommended to her the Berbere wings, an Ethiopian style chicken wing, which I can describe as sort of a medium heat dry rub . They were plump, juicy, and had plenty of flavor. My mom and I are both "pasta addicts" so we were definitely pleased with our heaping portions of mushroom tortellini and Alfredo with spinach and bacon. They were very busy the night we went so it took awhile to get our drinks and order taken. The YG mules were great and had a nice flavor. We started with the stuffed banana peppers which were very spicy but a delicious cheese blend. The berbere wings had a nice kick and the wings were crispy. The menu was very large with many choices so it was hard to narrow it down. Some of us got pizzas, burgers, prime rib, chicken friend steak. All the food was flavorful but the potion sizes seemed off. There was a little dish of pasta for an entrée. Then there was an overly large portion of the chicken friend steak. The gluten free crust pizza was like a personal pan sized but the regular crust one was huge for the small. The prime rib was good a little over cooked and huge I could barely finish it.
