Love this cute little neighborhood spot! Went with a big group of 8-10 people early Saturday morning and were seated immediately. We came from the hospital and wanted to wash our hands, so the team let us behind the bar/kitchen to use their sink the staff were so friendly and warm and food was delicious. The pancakes... WOW. So fluffy and flavorful, I got the chocolate chip ones. We also had a baby with us and it was his birthday, and the staff came out with candles on a pancake and sang for him!!! It was the cutest ever. This will be my easy no frills go to brunch spot! read more

Tried an early Saturday morning as a three top. Aftera short wait, they found us some space at the counter. Watched the chef continually do made to order items and to go's. We had meat, veggie and cheese omellets. Everything was hot,delicious and plentiful. It is a small space that can accommodate about 25 total people but turns over quickly. Enjoy! read more

Cash only and a small space (20ish max) but great food and service. Small town vibe right on the corner with big portions of typical breakfast food but it's a Brazilian owned and focused restaurant. The plate size you get is about half of your torso for about $17. Most of the breakfast specials come with coffee which is great value. This was my first stop in Boston and I would recommend it to anybody. Lots of food and so filling. Well made and full of flavor too. read more

Eggs Benedict perfection! For years I have been looking for a restaurant that has perfect ratio of hollandaise, ham/Canadian bacon, with a poached runny egg on a deliciously fresh English muffin. It's cozy, all right, but they get things done and that's okay. I will add to the other reviewers notes that Theo's is a cash-only business. There is an ATM three or so doors up the hill if you need. I did not need a menu, ordering a mushroom and cheese omelet. I was sitting at the counter so I could see that they do everything to order here and while there's a power mixer for the eggs, there are no other shortcuts. Nicely cooked, perfect toast and good hash browns that went well with the squeezie bottle of ketchup on the counter. Delish. The group that came in just ahead of me all ordered the chocolate chip pancakes and I was seriously doubting myself. They looked excellent so I'll have to get those next time! read more

What can I say about a little gem located in the North End Area of Boston, it's a throwback to the old days Breakfast & Lunch place with a small twist which is that they do Brazilian dishes too on top of the traditional American Style Dinner recipes. My favorite dish is there Corn beef Hash with 3 eggs and home fries plus toast (WOW) it's awesome and highly recommend it, great coffee too. Or if you are into a meaty breakfast/brunch there's Picanña a Brazilian steak and eggs or rice & black beans to really make you really happy. Just come on by and experience a great start to your day! I recently visited Boston and was eager to eat lunch close to my condo. Theo's came highly recommended, so in I went. They are cash only, and there is an ATM nearby if you don't have any. Why I am writing is the fish stew . It's under the Brazilian section of the menu, and I cannot recommend it more. It's outstanding ! I got the spicy version and have no regrets. My entire trip to Boston is most memorable due to this fish stew. Obrigada! read more

Wish I could give this place more stars! The hospitality at this diner is above and beyond. My husband and I left this diner changed people. Our waitress was so sweet, attentive, caring, and accommodating. There was another man (maybe Theo?) who kept us comfortable and was so sweet with our son. Every person working here was oozing kindness and was showing the sweetest kindness to our son. Even the chef behind the line kept waving and smiling to him. Not only the staff, but every single customer that came in and out of this wonderful place interacted with our son. This place is just oozing with kind people! It's truly refreshing and heart warming. NOW, the food!! I have ordered many soggy vegetable omelets in my life but NOT HERE. The omelet was PERFECT. the eggs were cooked to perfection and the generous amount of vegetables were cooked perfectly, no soggy mess or soupy omelet here! And HOLY COW these CRISPY home fries... BEST IVE EVER HAD. I took a bite of them and had to pause for a moment and really stare at these puppies. So so so so delicious. Warm, crispy, soft in the inside. I will forever be searching for home fries as good as these. My husbands pancake was fluffy and delicious! 11/10 there's no place that compares to Theo's. probably my FAVORITE breakfast/brunch spot in Boston. Located on the North End. Super small, and sometimes you have to wait for a table, but they do a great job getting you in and out. CASH ONLY! The staff is incredibly friendly, and they remember me every time I come in and know what I like. I usually get a cappuccino with a dash or cinnamon or cocoa on top (have to ask), and holy cow, magic. All the food is great, but I usually go with breakfast. Brazilian/Italian inspired lunch dishes. I came here on a whim when I came to Boston because I heard all the good reviews! Theo's lived up to its hype - Fast service and great food. I got the French toast with fruit and the portions are A+ and the French toast was decent. Their coffee is also one of the best coffees I've ever had. I wish I got the soup because some guy got it next to me and it looked SO good. My bf got the big boy? Idk what it was called LOL but it was a lot and the ham was really good. The pancakes were fluffy too :,) I don't really have any bad things to say about Theo's!! read more

$28 for omelet, and an orange juice that tasted like acid. I was horrified they charge that much now. The omelet has maybe 2 eggs. I'll stay hungry before I go there to eat. I know Joe Biden ruined the economy and caused inflation but this is insane to charge this much. read more

This place deserves all the hype! We came on a Wednesday morning and it was so crowded (there are limited seats inside) so we opted for takeout. They were all super friendly and helpful and also got the food out quickly. I got the big boy and it was extremely filling. 10/10: absolutely loved the sausages that came with the big boy. My dad also got the eggs Benedict and it was absolutely nailed from the egg to the potatoes. Everyone in my family agreed that we wish we had ordered extra sides of potatoes. Will definitely come back next time I am in Boston. read more

Just do it, eat here. You will not regret it. The parking situation is a little funky, but it is worth the trouble. The place is very homey and the food is great. I kept eating even after I was way past being full, it was so delicious! I got the French Toast, (breakfast still served in the afternoon!) it was probably the best French toast I've had in a long time. My father enjoyed his meal too. The vibes of the place are great, it seems to be very popular with the locals as well. Everyone in the room popped in and out of separate conversations, and everyone seemed to know each other. They were totally chill with us popping in and out of their conversations as well. It felt like something straight out of a TV show in the best way possible. If that isn't really for you though, you definitely could just eat your food with whoever you are with and be left more or less to yourself. If you're in town, you have got to eat here. We came to visit from Texas and decided to try this place. Well, we're glad we did, the food tasted great. We had the pancakes, French toast, and hot chocolate. The portions were big. The place is small and there was a line to go in but we were seated in less than 10 min. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will coming back here next year. I was disappointed with Theo's. I may be the only one. I ordered scrambled eggs with sausage & bacon, toast and pancakes. Everything was just OK. I was lured by the name and all the great reviews. It's definitely cozy and compact. Plenty of seating outside which was nice but people were seated inside too. What bummed me out was when I was waiting for my food (inside), a gentleman left who just finished eating. And older gentleman, maybe Theo, brushed the crumbs off the table with a towel. There was a disinfectant spray RIGHT there and he didn't even use it! Basically the food was your standard Greek diner food. It probably would have been better if I didn't order takeout. I was so disappointed I'm sure there were plenty of other places to eat that would have been better. This was one of the first time Yelpers did not steer me right. Oh well. Mine is just one opinion. Hope you have a better experience. If you're looking for decent food, I think you'll probably be alright. I wanted it to be more and better based upon the reviews. read more

I just had the best eggs Benedict of any place we have been. This very small local diner was worth the stop in. The owner and staff were top notch. There was a line to wait for a seat, always a god sign of great food. The only drawback, they only have a restroom by walking through the kitchen and to the basement. If there was a way for the burrito to be wrapped so all the ingredients were more evenly distributed - this would easily be a 5/5 breakfast burrito. I went to boston for a few days and this was the top rated spot on yelp to check out. I am very glad I did! The place is def cozy, maybe too cozy for its own good. We came to the place at around 11am and had to wait about 20 mins, which was not bad. The only table they had was at the bar, so we just ordered there. This is a little place but they get people in and outside without feeling like you are being kicked out. The service was outstanding. Java was fresh and tasty. The eggs were amazing. Second visit: I got an açai bowl ($9 for the small size; $12 for regular), and added vegan protein powder ($2) blended in. It came with açai blended with almond milk, banana, strawberries, blueberries, and granola. Real good and plentiful even for the small size. Third visit: just ordered a bagel with vegan cream cheese that had tomato in it, and added some spinach on top ($5.50 total). Very generous spinach portion (for $0.50!), well-toasted bagel, and an appropriate amount of cream cheese. Very tasty. I grabbed my order and sat at one of the tables outside. Upon unwrapping the sandwich, it looked delectable at first glance. It had a decent cheese pull when I picked up the first half. For the first bite or two it seemed like everything inside worked together in harmony; that is until I realized that the bacon wasn't crispy. Not like it was just a little chewy on the ends, but legitimately undercooked on at least one side. To me, not many things are more dissatisfying than biting into gelatinous, underdone bacon. Not sure if this makes me nitpicky, but it kind of ruined the sandwich for me since I ultimately ended up picking about half of the bacon out. If the bacon was crispy or otherwise cooked more evenly, this surely would've been a knockout sandwich and the experience as a whole would've been worth at least four stars for me. Sunny Girl really seems to have a lot going for them; a good location, fresh ingredients, a loyal and ever growing customer base, an overall good concept. I genuinely want to like the place and my hope is that I just happened to catch them on an off day.
