This was a fun place. It's very very small (cozy) inside so if you're claustrophobic this isn't for you but if you like the hole in the wall vibe and good food this is definitely the place. We stopped by here for a quick bite after a 3 hour walking tour in the Freedom Trail. Fast and efficient service. We had a cheeseburger with fries and a side salad. All food was excellent and tasty. read more

Visiting from California for a Celtics game!! We found this place on Tik tok per Tik tok one of must try places in Boston. We decided to try it before heading to the airport. This place is location on actual corner and it is small inside. When we got there, there was a wait and had to stand outside..it was drizzling. We visited Boston with our three young children (ages 8, 6, and 4) and decided to give this restaurant a try, after scouring Yelp for a non-chain establishment we could have breakfast on the Fourth of July. We made it just in time and it did NOT disappoint. We arrived shortly before closing, waited out on the sidewalk for a table to open up (and I was, in all honestly, getting a bit skeptical), and were seated with our three (hangry, sassy, whiny) lovely children. I was having trouble finding a great place in downtown Boston for breakfast that opens at 6:00AM. I did what I always do in these situations and went to Yelp for help. I now know why Theo's has so many nice reviews. This little corner cafe has a great tasting breakfast with awesome customer service and the portions were huge. This is a very small restaurant that probably holds about 25 people in a very close environment. After Covid...this might make some people nervous. By the time we left there was a huge line outside the door. Crowds like this are good indicators from the locals that this is a quality restaurant. If you need to use the restroom, just ask the waitress as they will have to take you through the kitchen and downstairs to the basement. I loved this little restaurant and would go back tomorrow if I had more time in Boston. read more

Terrific food. Four of us had breakfast and all the food was perfectly prepared. I had a very simple breakfast but when you have the simple things done perfectly it's wonderful. Bacon was crispy, over easy eggs were perfect. Other people had the eggs Florentine which I'm craving now, strawberry waffle, and an omelette. All of the food was delicious and fresh. We waited for about 25 minutes for breakfast on a Sunday morning and it was WORTH IT. The place is well-named, you step in and you just thing: "wow, this is cozy". My friend ordered a pancake on the side, and if you're into that I'd also recommend their pancakes. They're huge and fluffy and perfectly golden brown. Walking out, we ran into the owner who started talking to us about the soccer games coming up that weekend. He was so nice and wanted to know if we enjoyed the food. Love this cute little neighborhood spot! Went with a big group of 8-10 people early Saturday morning and were seated immediately. We came from the hospital and wanted to wash our hands, so the team let us behind the bar/kitchen to use their sink the staff were so friendly and warm and food was delicious. The pancakes... WOW. So fluffy and flavorful, I got the chocolate chip ones. We also had a baby with us and it was his birthday, and the staff came out with candles on a pancake and sang for him!!!
