Think Cafe has a delicious plate for every craving. The friendly service, the upper level cafe decor and the delicious food make this place a great date night or a casual lunch spot. The menu has terrific breakfast plates, light lunch and full meal dinner options that are sure to please all. There's plenty of lot parking and street parking.

My friend held her baby shower here and what an amazing experience. It was a cute, private space to the side of the restaurant, parking was free in their lot. Their food was absolutely delicious, I opted for their salmon dish and the service was phenomenal.

I have always enjoyed going to think café, but tonight I had their Chicken Piccata and it was superb. I felt like I was transported back to Italy. Service is always excellent. Very friendly and checking in to make sure everything is going well. I really like their covered outdoor patio. The menu has many options so you can always find what you're in the mood for and they seem to do everything really well.

First time here. My husband loved his pasta dinner. I wanted the tuna tower. They had to take it back. It wasn't what I wanted. I wanted it to be a tower. There was no tower. It still tasted OK. It was nothing to write home about but they made up for with my husband Dinner.. bread was really good. Will be back to give them another chance.

The food was good and service was ok , the waitress was rushing to take our order but she was still nice , The only thing I didn't like was we found a roach walking inside the establishment and already I wanted to leave but we had already got our food lol we did tell the waiter and he got it and they gave us a free churro waffle which was good . My mom got a Bloody Mary and she said it was pretty watered down but the food was pretty good. Not sure if I would go back again but there is plenty of parking and dining apace.

My husband and I were taking a cruise out of San Pedro and wanted to grab a little snack before boarding the ship. We found this place on yelp, and I'm glad we stopped in. We shared the "Choice of Two $10" and ordered half of a tuna sandwich and a bowl of Clam Chowder. Both items were delicious, and the service was excellent. We want to try breakfast and other items here. We will be back soon!

This is an attractive casual restaurant with a great menu. Barbara was our server, her service was friendly, prompt & on point. The meal begins with French bread with a unique & scrumptious dipping sauce. We had their fresh tuna tower. The presentation was attractive and this starter is delicious and generous. My friend had their crisp Caesar Salad which she enjoyed. I had the French Onion Soup. It was good but not exceptional. The menu is varied & interesting. The food, drinks, service and ambiance were perfect and I definitely recommend this spot! The only thing they missed on was the outdoor section being closed when we went--but we already know we are definitely going back so hopefully next time we will get to try the out doors area. Our server was super on point and even caught some things I didn't realize and she gave us some pro-tips. The food was absolutely amazing and we really enjoyed our meal. A true gem in the neighborhood! I ordered the macadamia nut salad, which was generously loaded with tender chicken, warm goat cheese, creamy avocados, and sweet strawberries, all perfectly dressed in a balsamic vinaigrette. Every bite was bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the bar seating provided a relaxed, comfortable vibe. Plus, parking was convenient with an available lot. Definitely a spot worth visiting again! Bon appetite!

We don't come to San Pedro much except to stop by the Cruise Port, so when there was an opportunity to have brunch nearby the port while my brother and I were transferring cruise ships on our back2back Royal Caribbean cruises, my wife and her neighbor/friend drove out and joined us to make a party of 4. Think Cafe is close by the port, and is open from 9 am to 9 pm everyday. It's a big menu, with food choices from all parts of the day. Our group found the service to be good, and the food to be edible to good. The Think brand has three restaurants in San Pedro, with the middle child Cafe being opened in 1997. It has fairly broad menu, with it longevity meaning menu items have been probably constantly rotated per customer's demands. There is free angled street parking right in front, with spots available even though the inside of the restaurant was fairly busy. We were seated immediately and given water and menus by the busboy. My choice was something I'll almost always order if I see it on the menu: Loco Moco ($15). Unfortunately, this version wasn't great...starting with the rice which tasted like instant and the very plain brown gravy. However, the eggs were excellently prepared as over easy, giving me the yellow yolk run that I like over the "white" rice. And the hamburger patty was good, not too dense or greasy, with a decent amount of heft to make it clear it was real meat. Nobody else at the table complained or overly praised the meal...it was diner food level and met expectations. [Country Chicken and Eggs for $20, and two croque madames ($15 each)]. I did get a chance to take a bite out of the croque, and I really liked the bread (though my brother wished it had been toasted a lot more)...the amount of filling was OK. All came with potato, and everyone ordered hash browns (crispy on the edges), which seemed to be enjoyed. And like my dish, the egg in each dish seemed to be the highlight. Service was friendly and easy natured, with the busyness causing some little delays, that a friendly prompt fixed. With the broadness of the menu, it's easy to understand why some of the items underwhelmed a bit...I'm sure items will keep changing as times (and customer's tastes) keeps evolving.

I always like to check on consistency of the taste, amount of food portions and customer service among other things. I placed one of my go to orders via Ubereats- 2 Item Combo (1/2 BLT and a cup of clam chowder) and a small caesar salad with extra dressing- all for $15.00 (excluding taxes)- of course I requested in the comments section for some complimentary (served for dine-in) sourdough bread and extra butter. Immediately after placing the order- I called and talked to Ingrid about my order- basically before I could talk- she said- don't worry- I/we have the bread covered. Remember to order clam chowder whenever you dine-in/deliver- it's very good- along with the complimentary table side bread. I know the restaurant ambiance is very good in my dine-in experiences of the past.

It's a small local restaurant and it's clean! The food here is amazing!! The waitstaff is nice and attentive. I ordered the coque monsieur sandwich, salad and soup. Everything was delicious Unfortunately, after placing my order I realized that I had a meeting to go to and once I told the waitstaff about my dilemma, she right away made my order to go! She noticed my rush and was able to get my order packed and charged me in a jiffy! I made it to my meeting just in time. After the meeting I enjoyed my delicious lunch! I want to thank the waitstaff for helping me out with my order so that I would be able to get to my meeting on time! Also the Macadamian Nut and Goat Cheese Salad Lunch is a must try!! It's soooo good!!

This review is way overdue. I've been here close to a dozen times now for breakfast and the staff are so friendly and attentive. The place is always clean, the inside atmosphere is industrial and unexpectedly relaxing. There is closed off outdoor seating as well if you prefer that, it is within the property, not on the street like some of the local curbside seating that came during COVID. The food is always great, high quality, comes out very quickly, and the coffee is great. Highly recommend for breakfast, have not tried other meals here yet but definitely plan to in the future. read more

I just realized that I have been to think cafe since, I was just a teenager back in 2013 or 2014. Anyway, I am happy to celebrate the early Easter with my extended family today and having strawberry lemonade, fried fish sandwich with tartar sauce and onion rings. The parking space in the back is the best place to park our cars without hesitation. The appetizer of calamari with homemade marinara sauce is delicious and that's one of our favorites before, lunchtime. Lastly, I'll recommend this to anyone. read more

Super friendly staff! Seeing Tia and Carly here already gives you a happy vibe. I don't know all of the staffs names yet but I look forward to visiting here more often since I live a couple blocks away. Out of the cheeseburger, bolognese pasta, French toast breakfast and salmon Benedict; I think the French toast breakfast plate was my favorite so far although all is good. I'm hoping to eventually try everything on the menu. read more

Everytime I go to Think Café, the food is always delicious. The servers are always really friendly, which is nice because I have a toddler and sometimes going to a restaurant can be difficult. My husband and I decided to try takeout one night and it was also delicious! My husband loves the ribeye, Hawaiian style. I love their French onion soup! They also serve you complementary bread. You can't go wrong here. read more

Just moved to San Pedro 4 weeks ago and was lucky enough to find this gem! I have eaten here 4 times already and everything has been delicious and amazing! The lamb, sand dabs, gyro sandwich and calamari is absolute perfection! The staff is extremely friendly and well familiar with menu items. The overall vibe of fellow diners is warm, inviting and fun! Solid local spot in downtown San Pedro. I love their salmon lox and bagel. It is a reasonable price for the amount of salmon for the dish compared to other spots in Long Beach and the South Bay. The owner is really nice, and so are the employees. During this ongoing pandemic, this has been my go-to spot for breakfast and/or lunch, depending when I eat during the work day. When indoor (or even outdoor) dining is allowed again, I hope to be able to experience their food fresh. read more

This is probably one of the best breakfast/lunch/dinner spots in town. Everything was delicious. I am a hard person to please when it comes to food, however, they knocked it out the park. Our server Nick was attentive and professional. The busser was awesome as well. I had the poke for an appetizer and scampi for main. Bomb!!! The level of care for the food and service was excellent. They catered well to our needs since I have a sister that is blind and has special needs. My mothers chilaquiles were bomb. It reminded me of hers; I had to try it. Keep up the good work! read more

This is one of my favorite local cafes! I come frequently and I have never had to wait for a table. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They also have heaters in the patio for when it's cold. I usually come here for breakfast/brunch. Their homestyle potatoes are soo good! read more

Excellent and varied menu, excellent food, nice ambiance, easy parking, excellent service, reasonably priced/excellent value. We've been coming here for many years. Today our server was Ingrid who is always friendly and efficient as well. The only rub is that it isn't located closer to where we live. Of course if it was, the prices likely be substantially higher. Worth the 30 minute drive. read more

I really like this restaurant. We keep going back because the food is consistently delicious and they make one hell of a great cup of cappuccino!! They are also serving Breakfast ALL DAY/NIGHT NOW. One of my favorites is the Macadamia Nut Goat Cheese Salad with Grilled Chicken sliced Strawberries in a Balsamic vinegar dressing, Yummy!! Looking for one of our favorite restaurants who had patio dining during COVID. Think Cafe is perfect! They had spaced seating/tables on their patio. We were celebrating my July 1 birthday and the staff made it such a great celebration. My boyfriend had the clam chowder & calamari, while I was chomping down on the house salad. Then we split the Salmon dinner with green beans, asparagus & rice (see photo) ... SOOOO DELICIOUS!! And then, of course, the Tiramisu for my birthday dessert! This was a happy accident that we stumbled on this restaurant on a Saturday evening while strolling around downtown with my teenage kids and 80 year old father. Service was excellent, and the food was so surprisingly good. I had the macadamia crusted goat cheese salad with strawberries; I liked it so much I'm trying to replicate the recipe at home. My dad had the prime rib dip sandwich and said it was excellent... high praise for him! The patio seating was super cute, we'll sit out there next time. Try this place out, there's a lot to choose from on the menu, super service, and they even have their own parking lot! read more

Quality assurance is going down with each visit. I'm ordering the same dishes , but they're looking different. Portions have been cut back. They are no longer serving a ham steak. Instead they're cutting a ham steak in half and then rounding the corners so they can make it into two separate portions and serve it to two patrons instead of one. The once glorious golden hash browns are no longer of the same exceptional quality:( read more

I got the ribeye steak today prepared medium. Along with mash potatoes and vegetables. I had no complaints and would definitely return. We sat out on the patio and the vibe was positive. Our waitress was very friendly. Today I ordered the crispy chicken salad with blue cheese dressing. Chicken was good, salad was fresh, but the tomatoes were tiny and the blue cheese dressing tasted like it came from the grocery store instead of being homemade. If you want a good salad dressing try Big Nicks on Gaffey instead. read more

We arrived a day before a cruise and were looking for a place to grab lunch and came across the Think Cafe. Our family was glad that we came here for lunch. They had a wide variety of food to select from. Since it was Sunday they were also serving Brunch. Many of the Brunch dishes looked good and also came with (it looked like) nice pours of Champagne with refills. Service was really good. If in the area you should stop by for a meal. read more

We like the place and the service great customer service and the place is nice however a bit tight for big families like mine. We love to dine as a family a party of 6 or more is tough to fit in some places. But the staff make it work and are so nice. The food is great never had a bad experience and we visit or order out quite often since since 2020. Definitely a place to sit and have a nice meal. We love the Benedict's and French toast! read more

Have been searching around for decent delivery, most have disappointed, and this place definitely came through, at least on the first try. I ordered something simple, patty melt with onion rings. The cost was reasonable (and it was somewhat more expensive than much of the menu), it got here fast, I'm perhaps seven to eight or so miles away, and it arrived hot. The onion rings were perfect, delicious. The patty melt was very good, would definitely order again, but they put thousand island on it and in this case perhaps they put too much, thus four stars. That aside, it was more than enough food and made for an excellent lunch. The menu has got a bunch of interesting stuff, nothing that breaks the bank, and I'll definitely be checking it out more. Might even wander down some weekend for a bite of brunch and their Bloody Mary. This is a place to try if you're thinking about it. read more

I know for a fact I am missing offerings. It was world class, A+ with live music and wonderful service. The views of the pacific were gorgeous on our blustery day. My goodness it was so pretty. The server did everything you would expect from a server, nothing more, nothing less. One note about this establishment before I conclude this review. They prefer cash. I ordered a pita sandwich to go and was asked if I wanted fries or salad. I requested salad. When I arrived back to work with my lunch, I opened the box to see my sandwich and a serving of green peas covered with some nasty greasy white sauce. The food here is excellent. The wine selection is good. It's simple and laid back. It has a diner feel without the diner experience. My favorite breakfast is Think's Eggs Florentine; just ask for ranchero sauce instead of hollandaise. Such a great place to have lunch! I go with my son every weekend to get their fish and chips. The service is really fast and is easy to navigate through.
