I wasn't sure what to expect cause the menu is so diverse as it had burritos, to hibachi, to cheesesteak fries! We walked in the staff was super nice. I got the hibachi chicken noodles and it was really tasty! Huge portions. Took me 3 days to finish it. There isn't a lot of seating there but most of the folks who came in did take out orders.

    Bourbon chicken and fried rice

Horrible! Everyone is talking about this place. Sorry, I'm not impressed. I ordered the bourbon chicken with fried rice. First off all the chicken was dried out and the rice was mushy. Took 45 minutes to get my order which is ok if the food is good. Disappointed. Tung Hing is way better. Sorry not sorry. I'm a foodie and know good food and this place not it!

I didn't go in with any expectations, since this was my first visit I kept my order simple: Chicken Burrito with brown rice, pinto beans, lettuce, sour cream, shredded cheese and pico de gallo. Burrito was pretty sizable and they packed it with plenty of chicken and toppings. Unfortunately what I got lacked seasoning and was pretty bland.

Chicken, rice, loaded with veggies, salsa and sour cream (like a chipotle burrito bowl but way better)

I'm from New York, and my sister moved to Pennsylvania, so she introduced me to this spot. Now every single time I visit her, I somehow end up right back here because the food is just that good. They used to have a second location that closed, but honestly, it doesn't even matter because this one was always my favorite, the food here is on another level. We always start with the Brussels sprouts, the fried green tomatoes, or the hush puppies. You simply cannot go wrong with any of them. The appetizers are always hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. And then there's the mac and cheese... absolutely to die for. Even the children's mac and cheese is ridiculously good. Creamy, cheesy, comforting, exactly how mac and cheese should be. Their salads deserve their own shoutout too. The goat cheese salad with pickled eggs is perfection, and the Caesar with cornbread croutons? Genius. It's the kind of detail you don't expect but end up craving every time you think about it. But of course, the real star of the entire place is the cornbread. Truly heavenly. They serve it warm, and the whipped butter melts right into it, it's honestly dangerous how good it is. I could eat the entire dish by myself without hesitation. The service is always great, quick, friendly, and welcoming. It's one of those places where the vibes feel just as good as the food tastes. On weekends, it does get packed, so making a reservation is probably a smart idea. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. The food, the atmosphere, the consistency, everything hits. I will always come back whenever I'm in the area, and yes... mostly because the cornbread is truly that good.

FYI - I am from NYC. I've been to Jamaica, all over.. from home-cooked meals to resort/restaurant…read morefood... I love Jamaican cuisine. I came to Bethlehem PA to visit a few brothers. I wanted them to get out the box and find me some good food that is not from a pizzeria, WaWa's, GIANT Supermarket, etc. We settled on....... JAMAICAN! "Yes!", I thought. But, tbh, I wasn't expecting much out here. But boy, I was proven wrong with Cherry's Caribbean Palace: - Curry Goat: Soft, tender, hearty, healthy meat. It was cooked perfect. Not gamy or chewy, but exactly what you'd expect when you think curry goat. Perfect, mild, yellow, Jamaican curry style flavor. - Curry Chicken: You know Cherry's is authentic by how to they chop up the chicken. Bones and meat - it's not a thoughtless dish. You have to work at it, but so worth it. Doesn't seem like it's those hormone-pumped, farm raised chicken. Again with perfect, mild, Jamaican curry flavor. Not too spicy at all. - Jerk Chicken: Fire, in the traditional island jerk sense. Made a few of us sweat. Healthy, meaty portions. Skin was perfectly cooked with the jerk. It wasn't falling apart, like other places. - Jerk Pork: It's jerk, but you can taste the Jamaican pork, 'bbq' aspect, if you know what I mean. It has a, imo, a bit of tangy hint. Which is why I rate it Delicious. - The beef patties: oh man, the beef patties. The ground meat inside was not liquified (think pizzeria beef patties), and it wasn't dry crumbs (think supermarket fast food beef patties). It was top notch. You can tell because Cherry's cook their beef patties with a little slit/hole on the top of the patty (I assume they do this because they know how they want to cook the meat inside). Frickin' loved the beef patties. - Oxtail: the meat itself was quality; not full of ligaments or fatty parts. It wasn't dry and overcooked. It was perfectly made. And the sauce, ooh, the sauce. It's not like how other restaurants would use the same kind of base & spices, but at Cherry's, they have a specific oxtail sauce that is distinct, and quite lovely. - Everything came with rice and peas (great consistency, soft, but not watery or clumpy), perfect balance for all the spicy entrees above. - Everything came with cooked cabbage (fresh, crunchy, and not slimy) - Everything came with sweet plantains (ripe & sweet with a little tinge) Call ahead to order! Much better to work with them direct - not Uber eats! They are good people. When picking up. The gentlemen let us know that they'd bring the food out to our car. It might look like a 'hole in the wall' (no offense), BUT IT'S THE REALEST FOOD. It made me and my boys' stomachs very happy. Thank you Cherry's.. we're definitely going to be a good, repeat customer.

We were seated right away in an open format atmosphere with the best balance of light and dark. The bar across from us looked fantastic. What we noticed right from the start is how well the staff works with and for each other to bring guests the best dining experience possible. Maddie was our server. She was kind, professional, patient, and knowledgable about both food and drink on a grand scale. Her recommendations were stellar. I had a refreshing gin and basil martini as well as their beef carpaccio, which was absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend started with their beef stew, which was thick and satisfying. It was so delicious, she almost canceled her entree to have more. She went with the home cooking route and indulged in their meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes. Although she loved that as well, half had to come home with her, which made for an excellent lunch the next day. I went with the raw of it all and got their spectacular tuna tartare with asparagus, radish, and rice. Usually, the tuna is cut into strips but this tremendous block of gorgeous fish knocked me out. Absolutely fantastic from presentation to flavor. For dessert, we got their brownie with ice cream and this was all upper level in taste and texture. I would be shocked if their ice cream hadn't been made in-house. We loved our first experience with Apollo and we look forward to our next visit, which is hopefully sooner than later.

On our way home after skiing, the fam decided to stop in for breakfast. Good thing we arrived a little bit before 11:00 a.m., because Within 20 minutes of us being seated, there was already a 20 min wait outside for a table! I like the Ambiance of the inside restaurant, fireplace with a cauldron right by the entrance is a nice touch. That being said, the restaurant is really toasty! I had heard about Cracker Barrel for years, and this visit did not disappoint. Two in our ordered the steak and eggs. One steak was overdone more than medium rare, but the other one was cooked perfectly medium rare. Guess due to the volume they can't manage it perfectly. My sunny side up eggs for my sandwich was a little undercooked, as the egg white was still clear and runny. Seems like things that were cooked in butter, possibly overcast iron or baked, we're cooked perfectly, as our pancakes and biscuits were both cooked perfectly. No burnt edges, but toasty and delicious. They even served real maple syrup, and offered us refills on our coffees and soft drinks without even asking. Little peg game on table is signature gimmick, which kept the kiddos busy trying to figure out the puzzle. I rather enjoyed shopping while waiting for my order to come by, as I found a number of items on super sale, ranging from 25% to 70% discounted. Joined their rewards program and already earned a reward. Overall, staff were friendly (Yani was our server). Hopefully will be back if we're in the area again!

Anyway, when we arrived Winston's looks like a brownstone type of home that has a restaurant occupying the first floor. We happened to find a parking space right in front - go us! Street parking seemed to be scarce. The food is excellent. The most authentic tasting Jamaican cuisine I have had in a long time. It's evident they know what they're doing in the kitchen! I ordered the curry chicken with rice/peas and cabbage. Also, a side of macaroni and cheese, which was freshly bubbling out of the oven. We eat with our eyes first, right? I could not resist! And it did not disappoint, at all. Plenty cheesy and gooey while flavorful, too. The curry chicken packed a delicious punch of flavor with each bite as it fell off of the bone. The cabbage, my favorite, shredded into perfect slices and a little spicy kick, perfectly combined with the few potatoes and carrots included with it. The rice/peas was delightful as well. A great meal! By the time we were ready to exit, the service had become much 'friendlier'. However, it is not lost on me that it's only because the owner, Mr. Winston himself, came in and greeted us. He was so jovial and inviting. Prior to that moment, the gentleman behind the counter had MUCH attitude. Overall, the food is what will bring me back here. And I WILL be back!

Unfortunately, there was a strong cold draft at floor level, leaving our feet uncomfortably cold throughout the meal. The hostess was sweet and greeted us with a smile. The food service was unremarkable. Our waiter was not particularly friendly nor personable. The drinks were a weak start. The red sangria was poor. The bourbon cocktail was an odd mix of bourbon, apple cider, and other elements--an awkward, Frankenstein-style whiskey sour that simply didn't work. Worst of all, both drinks were served in thin plastic cups, which immediately cheapened the entire experience. I ordered the falafel sandwich and specifically requested a toasted bun. It arrived not just room temperature, but cold. I sent it back, and it returned burning hot... the bottom soggy... literally too hot to pick up... with no browning or color change, clearly microwaved. Microwaving is not toasting. At that point, the sandwich was inedible. I removed the bun entirely and ate just the falafel, which was dry and largely tasteless. At this point I knew coming back to this restaurant was a mistake. Food timing was another issue. The dishes took roughly 45 minutes to arrive after the drinks, possibly longer. We were all getting annoyed and what started out well when we first walked in turned negative. I wasn't impressed on my first visit years ago... and this second visit confirmed it. Between the poor drinks, cheap plastic cups, ridiculously long wait (with no explanation nor apology), and careless food execution, there's no reason to return.
