A few features we love about this restaurant, pick up window, easy online ordering with the ability to customize orders. I have added so many pictures of a few of the items we absolutely loved. Definitely top five for chicken sandwiches for me in the area especially if you get one with the asian flavors. Wow, so delicious. The burgers are solid!! This is the only place I buy burgers in this area. Not only is it better than fast food, and restaurants, because it's a smash burger, it's pretty one of a kind here and they are made lightening fast! Again the customization options are great built right into the only order system. We manage to snag a brown butter chocolate chip cookie before they sold out and while they are the size of a traditional homemade cookie, wow does it have huge flavor. I was almost mad I had to split it with my husband LOL. i love potato rolls and I love breakfast...so I definitely had to try a couple of their sandwiches! And I could add pickled onions....omg, best breakfast sandwich I have had on a potato roll! Bottom line, great good, great people in a great community! Check them out, please! This was the perfect place for a quick, late lunch! Both of our burgers were very good. They are the thin, smash style burgers and came on potato rolls. The fries were crispy and delicious (but a tiny bit too salty). We also got a pumpkin snickerdoodle for dessert, but next time want to try a milkshake. read more

At first blush the prices seem fairly high here, even for post-pandemic inflation, etc. $14 for the burger alone, with an extra $2 for fries. Then again, this is downtown Yarmouth and they are double burgers and they were very good, so there you are. They are take out only but with some outside tables available. They have a limited menu, but it is varied: burgers, chicken, fish, etc. The service was excellent and I am glad we ate there. I only mention the prices because if you are living on a shoestring you might want to untie this shoe and find another. read more

A big one for us -- they don't cook with seed oils. They make their fries with avocado oil, they were perfect and crispy! It's take out, but they have outdoor seating. It's perfect for a sunny day. The smash burger was awesome! I ate the whole thing, and would like to go back for their chicken or haddock sandwich. Top notch food and an awesome staff. Took my 6 and 3-year-old daughters for burgers after a rousing hour at the park. Like many parents, I have trouble finding foods my children will happily eat. So, you can imagine my surprise when both kids crushed their burgers and fries. The staff was on point and happily accommodated my daughter's request for no cheese. While this doesn't sound like a big deal, I think the staff's friendly interaction made her feel like a "big girl," thus contributing to the successful meal. I had the Firebird and fries. Both were amazing. The sandwich was as spicy as you'd expect something named after a mythical creature (and sweet car) to be, but the blue cheese helped mellow it out. What's more amazing is that we ate after a 25-minute drive back to New Gloucester and everything was still delicious. There's another review that compares the restaurant to McDonald's, but I can't remember the last time a McD's ice cream machine was working. I got a malted vanilla shake that knocks any chain restaurants' shakes out of the park. This is definitely a restaurant worth trying. It's obvious the staff cares about their customers and it shows in the quality of food and service. We will definitely go back. Probably tomorrow. read more

We grabbed two burgers and fries after hearing good things. (One was the smash, and I think the other may have been BBQ? (I can't remember and the menu is limited now.) Bit of a wait, but really delicious burgers. Servers were cordial, but not super friendly. Price was reasonable for the burger quality. What a cute little downtown Yarmouth has, and Thoroughfare is quick and VERY delicious.

If you haven't been here yet...do it! The burgers are amazing (they even have GF buns available). My kids have loved the chicken sandwich, hot dogs, and lamb burger. Great option in an area of very limited options. One person tried the smash burger which was well-enjoyed and got a rave review, we also enjoyed the fries although really salty. A bit pricey for what it is, and being charged for tap water isn't something either of us have ever experienced. Small menu, but it's a small place so makes sense. We ordered the lamb burger which was quite enjoyable, a kids burger w/o cheese that came with cheese - big problem for a 7 yo., and a smash burger, and fries. I perused the menu...ok so how is this different than say McDonalds? burgers, fries and shakes ....add a few key words and boom charge $75 for 3 burgers, fries and shakes.... Well I wanted to support local....ordered them up...they have a fancy website and ordering system...so catchy and cool. Even gave me an exact time for pick up with text message confirmation. So I sit in my car and wait. Ding....text comes in and I pop out of my car in front of their store...walk 1 min to the window. Grab my bag and run.... drive 10 min home. And what to my wondering eyes, mouth and face should appear...3 cold hamburgers, wilted fries and some watery thin frappes. read more

I am still in shock after eating my salad from Thoroughfare. I had a white bean and asparagus salad. It's listed under salads. Not side salads. I say that because the portion was very very small. Yes, it had lots of white beans and salad dressing. At least 4 asparagus and 4 pieces of lettuce and half a pickled artichoke. There was no soppresatta or pine nuts, as were listed on the menu. The price tag and portion is not commensurate for the price. I never ever write reviews! And this experience leaves me questioning how anyone could conscientiously serve this salad to the public. read more

Tonight was the first time we tried this restaurant and WOW!!! Absolutely delicious, they do burgers and fries RIGHT. Online ordering was very easy, food was ready when they said it would be, and our order for four people was prepared exactly as we ordered it. This restaurant is now in our regular rotation, so happy to have found them!!! read more
