I visited this café in person, hoping to sit and work briefly while waiting for an appointment…read morenearby. When I asked a staff member about the Wi-Fi, I was told a purchase was required to use it -- which I understood and respected. I chose to use my own mobile hotspot instead and continued working quietly at a table. At no point during my visit was I told that sitting without a purchase wasn't allowed, and no time limit was ever mentioned to me. After a while, the owner approached me directly and asked me to leave, saying I hadn't purchased anything and that the café "wasn't a public library." I understand a business owner's right to set house rules. My issue is that these expectations were never communicated to me before I was singled out and asked to leave -- which felt abrupt and personal rather than like a clearly enforced policy. As someone who actively supports small businesses, I was disappointed that a policy simply wasn't shared upfront, and that the moment it was enforced, it lacked warmth. I'd still encourage people to check this café out for their coffee, but if you're considering it as a workspace, ask about their policy before you sit down -- it wasn't made clear to me.

However, my review is solely based on the little speakeasy coffee shop on the back! Barista is probably one of the best we've ever had. He really took his drinks seriously. My sister wanted something floral and he gave a wonderful substitution. I ordered the White Rabbit and he asked how the level of sweetness was for me. It was absolutely perfect. When we walked in there was 1 person in front of us that ordered, and no one after us. Took over 15 minutes to warm a subpar cinnamon roll, when it came out they didn't call out our name and insisted it wasn't ours... then finally figured out it was ours after all. Whatever. Waited even longer for the matcha. Then it was called out, not my name, just the name of the drink. With no other people waiting we figured it was ours. Nope, then the barista loudly explained that I grabbed the wrong drink and that it's coconut milk. I didn't touch the drink other then grabbing it off the counter and said she could take it back. After looking pissed off, she said, "I'm just making sure you know that's coconut milk, is that okay?" I told her it was fine and apologized for grabbing the wrong drink. Still irritated she turned around and walked away. The drink? Awful. So if you like dark dens, poor service, and expensive drinks that are awful, this is your place!

The first half of the building is the cafe where you'll be greeted with some cute and funny coffee signs. There's two large shelves full of their own coffee beans of different roasts. They have a few small tables to sit and enjoy your orders, but note it is a bit of a tight fit in there. They also have a coffee bar where some people sat in front of the baristas. Past the cafe side is the creamery. I was in a rush and didn't have a chance to take a look. What we ordered; 1) Hot Mocha Rocha with soy milk - 5/5 stars. I forgot to ask for this as half sweet, but either way, it was absolutely delicious. Rich and very flavorful. 2) Iced Mocha Rocha - 5/5 stars. Just as delicious as the hot version. 3) pistachio muffin - 3/5 stars. This muffin had a generous amount of actual pistachio baked into the muffin itself which I liked, however, the muffin had more of an artificial pistachio flavor for me. I still ate it but I wasn't in love with that one. 4) chocolate croissant - 5/5 stars. This was such a hit, we ran out right away. Everyone in our group attacked these so fast. I have to say, I am SAD that I live so far from Deep Barrel Roasters & Creamery. They have a lot of pastries, ice cream including deep fried ice cream, and beverages. I absolutely loved this place and look forward to visiting them again. Next time, I for sure will grab a dozen or more to share with the family and bring some home, and we will definitely grab some frozen treats too. Deep Barrel, is a gem. Great local coffee shop in Norco…read more I've stopped by a couple times and the place is never empty. This last visit had a pretty good line when I got there, and the staff did a great job taking orders and keeping the line moving and also making sure drinks continued to get made. I ordered a cold brew and they got that out really quickly. I really enjoyed the drink, and I drink my coffee black so I got the real flavor of the brew. The shop is kind of small, but there are tables for anyone who wants to stay and enjoy their coffee and pastry.

I happened upon Mojo's Drive Thru Coffee when I missed the turn to my actual destination. Their…read moreset up was too cute not to give them a try! They only take drive thru orders, no window walk ups, no seating. The building is so small that even tho they have a menu board before you get to the window, there's no speaker to place your order until you pull up to the window. So if you're a first timer like me, you can look over the menu and make your selections in your head while you're waiting to pull forward. They have a nice variety of coffees, specialty coffees, iced or blended coffees, teas, and energy drinks. Today we tried the Peanut Butter Mocha and the Java Chip Classic, both blended. I got an extra scoop of peanut butter in my drink and I LOVED it! I brought the Java Chip Classic and a turkey and cheese croissant home for my daughter and she really enjoyed both as well. The workers were very upbeat and friendly. And considering that they couldn't start my order until I pulled up, it did come up quickly and accurately. This was one of those rare occasions that "getting lost" ended up being not so bad because now I've found a great new small business that I'm looking forward to supporting :)

There are two sides to the drive-thru so it makes no difference which way you enter. I came here while in the area and needed an iced coffee on a hot day. I had second thoughts about coming here while waiting in line. There were only two cars in front of me yet it took me 13 minutes to get to the window. You both order and pay at the window but a menu is conveniently located when you are in the position as the next car to order. I ordered a blended peanut butter mocha coffee. It took less than 3 minutes to have it in hand. Peanut butter. Chocolate. Coffee. All three flavors were there although the peanut butter was more prevalent. With whipped cream on top it was more like a shake than coffee. I quite enjoyed it. While the wait time is a gamble as you may get stuck behind the person ordering for half the neighborhood, I'm willing to take the gamble next time I'm in the area because what they make is delicious.

I asked the staff at Kaza Mazza what they thought of it and they said it was their bakery too! I love Kaza Mazza and figured their bakery would probably be pretty spectacular too...and I was right. Step into Marhaba and you will find yourself in a quaint coffee shop and bakery welcomed by some of the nicest people. I don't recall the young man's name but he worked there on 1/13/26 @ about 830pm and was so hospitable. Im not too knowledgeable on Mediterranean sweets so he explained their menu in detail...unfortunately, most of their goodies were gone. I had their Baklava w/pistachio, a slice of their Knafeh (which I have never had before and knew nothing about) and we also had their Caramel Macchiato and Lavender Latte. I dont think I can properly describe their baked goods other than it was a delectable experience. The Baklava was crisp, rich and not too sweet while the Knafeh with its cheese and various textures just melted in my mouth. My hubby even enjoyed these and he isn't much of a dessert fan! Pricing varies as I feel some were a bit expensive when compared to other bakeries. Overall good visit. Will be back soon.
