Cozy coffeehouse that's not just tourist. In a really unique neighborhood, they roast their own coffee and they had some interesting concoctions, both cold and hot.

The shop is located in a beautiful location and close to oceanfront... the shop has a cozy vibe, has indoor and outdoor seating... they have very unique flavor combinations and has milk alternatives too... I got the drip coffee with milk foam... the barista recommended it and it's the bestseller but I personally didn't enjoy it... I felt a weird after taste.. pastries and food felt very pricey..!!

One of the many gems in the Vibe District! My friend and I stopped in for their amazing hot chocolate!

Great place to stop in for coffee and pastries! The place is buzzing because it's got great coffee, hot chocolate, and gluten-free pastries! Service is quick and friendly and it has a great atmosphere!! Highly recommend!!!

We walked here for coffee on our first morning staying in the area. It is a cool shop. They have coffee, swag, pastries, etc... The coffee of that day was from Guatemala and was just not for me. A little to earthy Definitley try it out... the coffee may be right up your alley

Always top notch when hitting this local spot. Though they've opened up a couple other spots, this one remains my favorite. Their seasonal drinks are always on point, and their usual menu items never miss. The staff takes extra care to make sure you are getting exactly what you want, and they do it very well. Every drink is made to order, so nothing is sitting around waiting. They also always have great selection of merch including tees, hats and stickers. If you take your coffee black, and seriously, this is a great spot!

Three ships is easily the best coffee in Virginia Beach! Everything they have is impeccable, from their seasonal drinks to the classic, this time I got a vanilla latte and a ham biscuit. Both were great, and the staff was lovely. The atmosphere is always very cool, and so much better designed than most coffee shops in a beach town. It leans into the nautical field, but in a cool fresh way. I highly recommend going!

Coffee was tasty! Brought my coffee snob husband who got their drip and said "if you get the basics right, you're set... they got the basics right" (that's a pretty good review in his book haha). We also got a ham and cheese croissant which was quickly devoured and very good. Busy but not too crowded, great vibe, knowledgeable workers, and overall and great experience!

For too long, coastal Virginia lacked the amazing coffee stands and shops we used to find everywhere in the Pacific Northwest. In recent years, a crop of great options has finally popped up. Three Ships is one of the best! Every time I've gone in the baristas have been friendly and helpful. Their in house roasted brews are top notch, and start with their excellently sourced beans. I've tried various blends/brews, both hot and cold, and have enjoyed them all. They also offer a nice variety of baked items, including gluten-free options. This muffin may not look like much, but it was an incredible chocolate chip filled gluten free goody that tasted like "the real thing", num num num! There is a sitting area inside the air conditioned shop as well as a nice porch area to sit outside in the heart of the VB Vibe/arts district.

Visited on a Saturday morning so they were SUPER busy and the line was very long. I was really hoping it was worth it. Got some pastries and a specialty coffee. Everything was excellent. The servers were great even with the busy crowd. And the place exuded great fun. Would revisit when I go back.

A great place for coffee, pastries, and an occasional bite to eat. Off the beaten path, but well worth the trip. Been on vacation since last week & it's our fifth time coming. The mocha and iced Pungo latte have been our favorites!

Quick service. Good coffee. The atmosphere is certifiably mid. Weird building and old wood interior.

It's the perfect combination of sweet, tangy, and open gooey deliciousness! Today, Baker's Crust catered breakfast at my office, and I was excited to see a table overflowing with bagels and cream cheeses. It was like Christmas morning for carb lovers! Unfortunately, none of the bagels or cream cheeses were labeled. My excitement quickly turned into confusion when I took a big bite of what I was sure was my beloved strawberry cream cheese... only to discover it was definitely not strawberry. And let's just say an onion bagel paired with the wrong cream cheese is a combination I wouldn't recommend. The food itself was great, but a little labeling would go a long way. A simple sticker or note on the bottom of each cream cheese container and small tent cards identifying the bagel flavors would save future customers from accidental flavor roulette. Still a fan, but next time I'd like to know whether I'm biting into strawberry bliss or an unexpected onion surprise! For a side note it's so easy to order online for a quick stop on the way to work. Perfect every time!!!

I don't want to have to think nor be confused. I want SERVICE and facing screens on a wall (two of which didn't work properly btw) is not providing service to customers especially with a group of young men on the other side of the glass wall any one of whom could have taken our orders. Sticker shock slammed me when I saw the price of a 12 ounce black coffee... it was almost the same cost as my bagel with cream cheese. Speaking of my premium highly priced black coffee ... it tastes as if there was sweetener of some sort added in ... oh well. When picking up my order to eat in ... I repeated that I was eating in ... the young man said "let me put it in a bag for you. ' I am eating in ... don't need a bag for my bagel ... take a dime off my coffee price and save the bag. The raison d'etre for this visit ... a bagel with veggie cream cheese... well it was a very good bagel with crunch and a decent schmear of veggie cream cheese. The bagel shop itself has a huge empty except for me dining area with lots of room to work if you choose to do so but I'd pick a place with reasonably priced coffee that includes refills if I was working. Sugar in my coffee uh no ... having to order off a tablet on the wall ... no ... a good reasonably priced bagel yes... maybe call in an order for bagels and get your coffee elsewhere or better yet find a nice diner with a waitress who comes to your table. And, this starts my VA BEACH Friday ... blah ... I really don't like sweetness in my coffee and hate over paying for coffee too. Oh I am taking that bag with ... a small white paper bag just might come in handy and after all he insisted that my eat in bagel needed to be that very special bag.

It is fully shaded which was nice considering we had some young kids with us. Service staff was very attentive and knowledgeable. I'd encourage them to be more targeted when describing some recommendations on the menu, she simply listed about the entire menu she asked "what are some of your favorites". Drinks were delivered very fast by the bartender. 2nd rounds were offered prior to the drinks being empty which shows good serving habits. The serving portions were very plentiful and played very well on the brunch theme! Burger was cooked medium well but still very juicy with a delicious mayo based sauce. The chicken and biscuit was juicy and the biscuit was flaky and delicious. It would have served the dish well TJ have a little more syrup. I also loved the unique hash tots. I ended up on the combo of their soup and salad since their soup also sounded good. I was hesitant on the strawberries in the wine country salad since I know they're not in season really, but they were lovely. Everything in the salad worked well together and the dressing was nice and vinegary while still tasting of raspberries. It was very well balanced except for the ratio of toppings to greens. I feel as though there was just a little too much toppings. It could've used more leafs. As for the soup, it was a little bland, but after adding salt and pepper it tasted nice. It was mostly soup rather than crab or corn though. That was my only critique really, the temperature was good as well. It could've used some crackers on the side, but it wasn't necessary, just would've been a nice touch. Our waitress was quite nice, checked up on us and got us refills. All of our food came out together and hot. The sandwiches on other people's plates all looked wonderful, and after having a shoestring fry, I can definitely say next time I will be ordering some of those. As far as ambiance goes, it was nicely lit but still moody, which was appreciated. Very chill in there. Only reason I rate it 3 stars is because I feel as though there's room for improvement food wise, and price wise. $20+ for almost everything on the menu is pretty ridiculous. Even for some of the simple items. I don't think the food is that good, proportionately appropriate, or creative to be that much money. Maybe it's just me, but that's how I feel. I'll probably be back to try more items, I'd recommend coming here at least once to try if you haven't, during happy hour to get the best prices if you can.
