Located just down from my hubby's IATSE Local 33, in a newly renovated building on Magnolia Blvd, it had me at "online ordering!" What can I say, this girl this girl likes to "grab & run," but not today...today I sat my arse on a very comfy couch with my YE friend, Caesar, and slowly sipped my "ice brown butter toffee latte." The minute I stepped inside I got a "warm welcoming" feeling and was greeted by owner Kristie & the lovely barista Abagail, who took the time to answer my "yelp detective" questions and decide on what type of coffee I wanted. No rushing encouraged here my friends...Very kicked back, feet up kinda place. It was packed at 12 noon and Abagail told me that I just missed the rush. Phew!!! Being a sister, I was intrigued by the name...Fun fact: Owner Kristie has 3 daughters, the oldest being 23 & the youngest 10! Hence the name...it's pretty spacious with a small outdoor patio in the back. There were several people working on their laptops while others were reading tarot cards or just chatting. Cute little coffee shop than we randomly picked on Yelp! The name sisters grabbed our attention! We hope we were supporting women! And apparently we were not the only ones supporting this coffee shop at 10:30 in the morning. Every table inside and outside were full plus a line. Place is not super big but big enough! We were quite pleased with our drinks! We ordered a latte and a chai. They charge .75 cents for anything but milk. Lots of add ins for drinks that start at .75 cents! I tried a pumpkin spice which was good but super sweet! Anyways we both enjoyed our drink sitting on a cute window bench. The drinks are pretty standard on menu! Grabbed a coffee with the one and only Te-See! We had a blast chatting and laughing. The interior was super light and inviting. The coffee place came highly recommended and the ambiance was nicely decorated for Halloween. Three Sisters Coffee & Tea offers a variety of sweet treats and drinks. Ordered a Iced Vanilla Bean Decaf. Abigail and Kristie were so friendly and inviting. Three sisters reference to the three daughters! How neat. They have outside and inside seating. Stopped in around 11am on a Wednesday. It was a bit crowded but not too bad. Looks like a cool place to do some work. They had a few two seater tables and couch, also wasn't noisy. Burbank is one of my fav cities to visit, almost always guaranteed good food and vibes. That's what Three Sisters provided indeed. Plenty of street parking out front and on the sides. There might be some parking in the back as well as I noticed people coming and going thru that way of the shop. The interior is very clean and beautiful. I felt cozy in my little nook reading my book sipping my drink. For a mid-week late morning trip, it was full inside! The music playing was gentle and perfect volume without disrupting the conversations/activities of others. I noticed right away the prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly. I hit it off with them pretty quick and they answered all of my questions! I started off with a hot oat strawberry matcha latte (5/5). Their syrup is house made and just enough for me. I could've gone for a stronger flavor but I'm afraid it would over power the matcha. So the ratio in fact was lovely. For my matcha fanatics out there - yes, the matcha is unsweetened and ceremonial grade ;) After reading my book for about an hour, I ordered myself an iced Irish mocha to go. I requested it to be less sweet and oat milk. Yummy! (4/5) only because I would like a stronger espresso flavor. I think I'll opt for a normal un flavored latte next time to judge the quality and taste of the espresso being used! Overall, a pleasant experience. I cannot wait to return. In addition.. I looooove this place! Woman-owned and family-run, free game/book library, always super clean and welcoming! Stopping in to see the folks at Three Sisters is seriously one of the best parts of my day. I'm a local and I pop in on my walk every morning. Almost all of them know my order (and my wife's) by heart and take the care to remember little details and check in on a personal level! (They are also very welcoming of dogs including my corgi puppy who always gets a pup cup full of whipped cream and for that I am very thankful!!) Not to mention how much I appreciate the level of community this location fosters with its weekly events. Magic the gathering, tarot, artist and craft vendors, life drawing- there are all kinds of services hosted here and I learn so much about the lifeblood of Burbank and what's going on in my town by stopping by. It's such a lovely thing to host so many people and events and it's so nourishing for the soul!! Goes without saying that the coffee is also great!! Three Sisters Coffee & Tea has been bookmarked for a while, so I'm glad I got to try it over the weekend. I arrived around 10:30am on Saturday and found street parking easily. There wasn't a queue, so ordering was quick. The shop has a casual ambiance, and there was plenty of seating indoors and in their back patio. Customer service was fine, and I was in-and-out of the shop quickly. I ordered an iced, 16 oz Three Sisters latte with oat milk. I really liked the floral notes in this drink and I wished they were stronger. The amount of oat milk diluted the coffee a bit for me, so I'd have to choose a different milk next time. Also, my family member ordered an iced vanilla bean latte and they said that they enjoyed it, but could've had more vanilla for their tastes. I guess I'll have to inquire the staff next time for extra syrup and/or recs for stronger flavors. Lastly, I saw that they had a seasonal drinks menu and a pastry case, so I'll have to visit in the future to try those! read more

We always try to support local and enjoy different spots around town, however, this wasn't the spot for us solely due to the coffee. I'm sorry, but they both sucked. My husband and I drank about 1/4 each and dumped the rest out. I don't know how you get simple drinks like vanilla latte and iced latte wrong, but somehow they did. My husband also got a scone and he said it tasted like cardboard. Everything here seemed to lack flavor, even the coffees were bland. To make it worse, my coffee was served lukewarm. I paid money for warm vanilla flavored water? No thanks. The decor is cute and the staff were friendly, but unfortunately we won't be back. read more

I stumbled upon Three Sisters when I was hanging out in Burbank on the weekend and was so happy to have found this cute coffeeshop! The cafe has such a cute and warm environment. They have couches, benches, and tables to sit at, and I love the light fixtures. I came in early on a Sunday, and they were already packed! The staff members who took my order and made my drink were really friendly and cheerful. I ordered the Three Sisters' Latte, which had lavender and rose flavors. I thought that it was really well made, and the ingredients felt high-quality. I also liked that the floral and coffee tastes complemented each other quite well; neither felt like it was dominating the drink. They also had fast Wi-Fi and plentiful outlets, so it is a nice space to do work. The one drawback is that parking was kind of tricky, but it's a walkable neighborhood. I've been going to Three Sisters since they first opened and it's my favorite coffee shop! Their strawberry matcha is amazing, the pastries are always delicious, and it's always fun to try the new seasonal coffees. Everyone who works there is always incredibly welcoming, helpful, and friendly, especially the owner Kristy. They also host fun pop-up events supporting other local small businesses/vendors! I love that they have tons of seating available inside as well as a back patio, it's a really nice spot to work remotely. They even have a super cute book vending machine! I found out about this place through an ad on YouTube and was very intrigued by the story of the Three Sisters. Love that it's women owned. I didn't get a chance to grab a cookie or pastry but they looked delicious. The services was so great, everyone was so sweet and very helpful. The ambiance was so inviting. The decor was BEAUTIFUL. I especially loved the lighting structure above the tables, totally a custom chandelier. I saw a lot of people enjoying themselves with their friends or co workers while taking meetings. I can definitely see myself working there remotely or taking a meeting there. I ordered the iced vanilla bean latte and WOW!! I could taste the quality ingredients that were put into the drink. It was smooth and creamy with no bitter after taste like other places leave you with. I will definitely be back to try the white chocolate mocha. #134 in my Coffeeshop Chronicles. I was on my way to Mammoth for a family vacation when I decided to stop by Three Sisters for a much needed caffeine fix. The coffeeshop itself is quaint and cozy, with a modern rustic aesthetic that focuses on natural elements including wooden furniture and an earthy neutral color palette. I especially loved the custom light feature that added authenticity to the rustic feel of the shop. The light pendant is comprised of dozens of vintage style bare bulbs hung at varying lengths from a wooden base board frame. Interior design aside, I also enjoyed learning about the shop's backstory, specifically how it was opened by a couple who both came from families with deep roots in the local business community. So when the couple opened Three Sisters, named after their three daughters, they were the newest generation to follow in their family's footsteps. Past, present, and future - It's pretty cool how they expanded the success of their family's previous generation by building a thriving business in the present and continuing the legacy for their daughters. As much as I enjoyed the shop's aesthetic and history, the actual drinks were a let-down. I ordered a Brown butter toffee latte and a vanilla latte. The brown butter was a seasonal special and is no longer on the menu, but they said they still had the syrup so they could make me one. Sadly, both coffees were mediocre. The espresso was weak and the flavors weren't noteworthy. Given how unremarkable the drinks were, I wouldn't go out of my way to return. Note: In response to the reply from the business, I understand that taste is subjective. However, this review is expressing my own experience and opinion, and not anyone else's. After seeing so many posts about Three Sisters Coffee & Tea, I finally got a chance to see what all the fuss was about. Upon first view, this shop is absolutely delightful. From the simple black exterior to the minimalistic interior of wood counter tops and tables, to the old timey light bulb fixtures hanging from the ceiling, Three Sisters Coffee seems like a great place to have a cup of coffee or tea. This is confirmed by having a sip of their drinks. The coffee is delicious, simple, and pure. It's a little darker roast than what I prefer, but it's flavorful, not burnt. It would help with maybe a sweeter drink, if you ordered one. I got the namesake, the Three Sisters Latte, which is flavored with lavender and rose. You do get the floral notes, but it's kinda masked by the coffee...a sweeter syrup would cut through those darker notes, but the taste is there. Overall, it's a delightful drink. The iced latte was perfect on a warm day and I can only wait for the weather to turn nice and cold and enjoy a hot version of the latte. Apparently they will make any drink you want with whatever ingredients they have on hand. I'm told the strawberry syrup is good and made in house so I will be trying that one day. I can see service can be a bit slow when busy, but considering it's an independent coffee shop, that's to be expected. However, that service comes with a smile and it's clearly operated by the aforementioned sisters...not some brooding teenager. The wait is totally worth it since there's plenty of seats and you can look out the window and enjoy watching cars drive down Magnolia boulevard. I've always enjoyed coming to this coffee shop for its cozy ambience, great coffee, and friendly energy. The drinks are top-notch, and the variety of beverages has always made it a favorite spot to relax or catch up with friends. But the recent addition of a palm reader/tarot cards station really changed the whole vibe. It takes up valuable space in what's already a small seating area, and honestly, it just doesn't fit the feel of the place. This is a coffee shop, not exactly the right setting for that kind of service. What used to feel warm and open now feels a little crowded and mismatched and a bit creepy. Unfortunately I had already left by the time I had tasted it and I didn't feel like going back. When did every barista decide they don't have to be friendly anymore? I've worked as a barista for years so I get the occasional rude customer but when I come up to the register and ask "how are you?" and the girl at the register can't even muster up the capacity to ask the same question in return is something I will never understand. When we choose to become baristas we have the opportunity to make someone's day better with the small interactions we have with them. I hope the management team takes this as a learning lesson. I was in the area taking care of some business and wanted to try a new coffee spot. I found this establishment on Yelp. I walked in and wasn't greeted, usually grounds for me to turn around and leave. It's not your typical coffee shop, it's super cute and they have different flavored drinks that are unique. There were plenty of tables and a cute bookshelf for one to enjoy while there or take home and read. Being that it was my first time I asked the cashier what is the most popular drink and she questioned me like I was stupid. I reiterated my question and she said VB latte, so I ordered that.
