My family, friends, and I have been frequenting Three Sisters regularly since they've opened! We feel so lucky that this dog friendly cafe is walking distance from us. It's a great spot to meet friends and run into familiar faces as well. Hands down, our favorite spot to grab either a plain black coffee (roasted to perfection) or a delicious signature or seasonal latte. If you don't want it too sweet, it's easy to ask for as the baristas and the owner are quite personable and very accommodating. Plenty of seating and always such a good vibe. I went in on a very busy Saturday but the line went fast. They had some smaller vendors/small businesses stationed throughout which was amazing to see. From the bookshelves to the couches to the gorgeous low wood table and unique lighting fixtures, the atmosphere here is relaxing and refreshing. You must try their seasonal specialty drink, the Blood Orange Tonic. Served over ice, this drink is refreshing and earthy and delicious. Two shots of espresso, club soda, and their house blood orange syrup. I wasn't sure whether or not I would like it, and turned out to be a unique and robust espresso tonic that lit me up. Their patio in the back is small but sweet, and dog friendly. I appreciate that they take cash here. Cash is king! Big thumbs up. The entertaining restroom wall art of the Crapper is a big plus! I also love the beautiful oil painting of the German Shepherd. See my photos for details. It was sweet to see a couple cuddling together on the couch in front of a long, low wood table. Super friendly barista and excellent coffee. Our order included a Grizz (mini with a double espresso), a banana nut latte, hot chocolate, and a matcha--every drink was delicious. I also loved having the option of macadamia milk. Since I customized my Grizz with a double espresso instead of a quad, the barista was kind enough to ring it up as a regular latte with add-ons, which made it much more affordable. We were pleasantly surprised that all of our drinks came in under $35--especially impressive considering we ordered five drinks and four were customized. UPDATE: if a customer claims to experience poor customer service at this establishment they'll be told it's their problem and not the staff. that's absolutely terrible. surprised you brought up the tiktok comment because there's about 200 people that agree your service is not great. instead of blaming others for your lack of customer service, spend your time actually improving your business. Not using AI responses to make it seem like you're trying to say something. It's not a mistake when you walk into a place see the girl staring at you, walk over to her coworker and say something while they both look at you. and this happened TWICE. it's not a mistake and other people agree as well. own up to your poor service! the customer service here is terrible. they need to train their staff better on how to treat paying customers. i've been here twice now and each time the girls working here have made me feel so uncomfortable. they'll talk about you to their coworkers and make eye contact with you all while giggling about something they're making fun of you for. it just seems so immature and unprofessional. i don't know what their issue is but you don't treat customers this way, this isn't high school. also all the drinks are watered down and filled with syrup so i wouldn't recommend those either read more

Every time I'm in the area I have to STOP BY this amazing coffee shop. Staff is very nice and friendly. My first time here the staff recommended the GRIZZLY it has become my go to. I've enjoyed it both hot or iced. The espresso is tasty and great. If I lived closer, I can definitely see myself enjoying my coffee while leisurely reading or being productive. Mary Kate, Ashley and Elizabeth Olsen, Venus & Serena Williams, Tia & Tamera Mowery, the Kardashians, Dakota & Elle Fanning, Paris & Nicole Hilton, literature's Charlotte & Emily Bronté, English history's Anne & Mary Boleyn and the band, The Pointer Sisters... The list goes on and on but we would be here all day. Perhaps Burbank's Three Sisters can be added to the sisterhood famedom. Who, or what, are Three Sisters, you ask? Three Sisters is a coffee shop on the Magnolia strip in Burbank next door to the famous Tony's Darts Away tavern.  Sounds standard but it is the background of the coffee shop that adds the sparkle. Three Sisters was founded by a husband-and-wife team and named after their three daughters (how sweet!); with the mama and papa already holding rank in Burbank local business royalty: the husband's own father owned a reupholstery furniture shop in the same exact storefront real estate as Three Sisters! The wife's family were former owners of Burbank's famous Pickwick Gardens near the Equestrian Center. Three Sisters is a latest generation of local community ownership. The highlight of Three Sisters is its visual appeal. It can best be described as Seattle hipster meets California boho with a black façade and logo, Edison light bulbs, fake succulents and succulent wall and wood grains. The shop is spotless and offers several tables, couch/arm chairs and a cute back patio sitting area so don't fret about a lack of seating. The energy is trendy but relaxed which ultimately makes it inviting. Basically: Three Sisters is gorgeous and the interior designer and decorators both deserve some applause. In terms of coffee offerings, Three Sisters is somewhat basic with the menu consisting of the staples in lieu of the fancy-schmancy multi-ingredient beverages. Which is fine if the coffee is of quality and is an A+ brew. I'm generally a black cold brew sorta gal, anyway. During my visit, I decided to try the Three Sisters Latte ($5.50) which is a latte infused with lavender and rose syrups. I opted for all lavender and no rose, hot, with oat milk. My coffee drinking buddy accompanying me chose a simple iced latte. Preparation was quick and the blonde female barista (is she one of the sisters?!) obviously holds some latte art skills but sadly, the drinks are served in paper cups with lids versus a mug like I expected from a small coffee shop and because the online menu features images of beverages in mugs (booo!!). So, how were the drinks? Unfortunately, a huge let-down. My Three Sisters Latte had no flavor at all. This was one of the blandest coffee beverages I've ever imbibed. Perhaps, I should have asked for a double shot of lavender? It wasn't even the lavender that didn't stand out; but the coffee itself. The brew could have redeemed the drink but I barely tasted any coffee beans at all! What the heck?! It was terrible dull but I didn't want to ask them to re-make it so I drank it anyway. My friend vouched a similar story for his latte only remarking, "Meh. It's okay". Three Sisters may be local business royalty but they most definitely aren't among coffee nobility. This is what resulted in a docked Yelp star. In case you need to use the restroom while at Three Sisters: it is a nicely sized, clean unisex restroom so no complaints except the sink water was very cold. Aside from the lackluster lattes; Three Sisters REALLY hit a sour note as Yelp HQ caught them offering 10% discounts to those who pen a Yelp review for their business. This goes against Yelp standards/rules/regulations and resulted in Yelp HQ posting a warning on the Three Sisters listing. As a 14 year Black Elite Yelper; this is completely unacceptable and against my Yelp morals. Very lame, Three Sisters! Another star lost! Three Sisters is an esthetically-pleasing coffee shop in Burbank with community roots (and honestly, LA doesn't have that many coffee shops so it's always great to add to the roster). However, the coffee isn't anything to shout from the rooftops or go out of your way to experience. Would I return? Probably, but not in a rush. Three Sisters is worth a visit if in the area but just don't expect top tier beverages and be aware that they try to compensate for reviews. read more

Service is friendly, seating is plentiful both inside and outside, and the coffee is delish! We went on a weekday holiday morning and there were a good amount of people sitting inside and outside. And the vibes were very cute and airy. I'd definitely like to try one of their signature drinks next time as I opted for a strawberry matcha. They serve ceremonial grade matcha which is great for its price. They also serve pastries. It's definitely a great spot to relax, bring your laptop and work. Their strawberry matcha is amazing, the pastries are always delicious, and it's always fun to try the new seasonal coffees. Everyone who works there is always incredibly welcoming, helpful, and friendly, especially the owner Kristy. They also host fun pop-up events supporting other local small businesses/vendors! I looooove this place! Woman-owned and family-run, free game/book library, always super clean and welcoming! Stopping in to see the folks at Three Sisters is seriously one of the best parts of my day. I'm a local and I pop in on my walk every morning. Almost all of them know my order (and my wife's) by heart and take the care to remember little details and check in on a personal level! (They are also very welcoming of dogs including my corgi puppy who always gets a pup cup full of whipped cream and for that I am very thankful!!) Not to mention how much I appreciate the level of community this location fosters with its weekly events. Magic the gathering, tarot, artist and craft vendors, life drawing- there are all kinds of services hosted here and I learn so much about the lifeblood of Burbank and what's going on in my town by stopping by. We always try to support local and enjoy different spots around town, however, this wasn't the spot for us solely due to the coffee. I'm sorry, but they both sucked. My husband and I drank about 1/4 each and dumped the rest out. I don't know how you get simple drinks like vanilla latte and iced latte wrong, but somehow they did. My husband also got a scone and he said it tasted like cardboard. Everything here seemed to lack flavor, even the coffees were bland. To make it worse, my coffee was served lukewarm. We were so excited when a small coffee shop opened up within walking distance from our house. Constantly find ourselves there whether it's a grab and go or sit and relax type of day. The strawberry matcha was SOOO good. I seriously loved it and would totally get it again. That said, the price was pretty steep, and the workers didn't seem very friendly. A truly great coffee shop right in the heart of Magnolia Park! For starters, you walk into a very inviting and calming cafe and are greeted by kind baristas and gorgeous pastries. The atmosphere is nice and homey. They have an extensive drink menu with any coffee lovers favorite orders, as well as teas. They also have amazing seasonal specials. And everything is fairly priced! We tried the maple spice latte, eggnog latte, and the three sisters latte (a lavender and rose latte). They all were 10/10. I will definitely be back. There is a warm and cozy ambiance. If wanting to hang out, it is very spacious inside. Tables inside are really nice and great for grabbing breakfast or brunch here with a friend and catching up. Because it's spacious it feels like there is some level of privacy between tables and too loud, but not too quiet either. If you're in the area, definitely check it out. Located just down from my hubby's IATSE Local 33, in a newly renovated building on Magnolia Blvd, it had me at "online ordering!" The minute I stepped inside I got a "warm welcoming" feeling and was greeted by owner Kristie & the lovely barista Abagail, who took the time to answer my "yelp detective" questions and decide on what type of coffee I wanted. No rushing encouraged here my friends...Very kicked back, feet up kinda place. It was packed at 12 noon and Abagail told me that I just missed the rush. Phew!!! Being a sister, I was intrigued by the name...Fun fact: Owner Kristie has 3 daughters, the oldest being 23 & the youngest 10! Hence the name...it's pretty spacious with a small outdoor patio in the back. There were several people working on their laptops while others were reading tarot cards or just chatting. Cute little coffee shop than we randomly picked on Yelp! The name sisters grabbed our attention! We hope we were supporting women! And apparently we were not the only ones supporting this coffee shop at 10:30 in the morning. Every table inside and outside were full plus a line. Place is not super big but big enough! We were quite pleased with our drinks! We ordered a latte and a chai. They charge .75 cents for anything but milk. Lots of add ins for drinks that start at .75 cents!
