Was in the area for a meeting so I decided to try a small business for coffee and a pastry instead of a chain. I hate giving reviews in general as everything is open to interpretation, but yikes. This place is really cute and the barista/cashier, super nice and friendly. High marks there. The food and coffee were awful. The chocolate in the croissant tasted like a cross between the fake chocolate on a chocolate iced doughnut and Betty Crocker chocolate frosting. The consistency of the croissant was very doughnut like as well. Not sure if they are made in house or from an outside vendor. It even smelled fake and artificial. I wanted to toss it after one bite, but gave it another shot, but gave up. The coffee I ordered was my usual order at any other spot. Iced decaf americano with oatmilk and vanilla syrup. It tasted like sweet water. It actually tasted like a toffee syrup not vanilla, but that was the least of the issues. The only thing coffee about it was the color. I took two sips and then let it sit until I could get home and brew some espresso myself to add. Very disappointing considering a 20oz and croissant was just over $10. The specialty coffees are ridiculously expensive. Luckily I kept it simple. Maybe it was a one off bad day, but I wouldn't consider returning due to both things being inedible. read more

My girlfriend and I decided to stop by for a quick drink, and we were both blown away by the coziness of this place. Seriously, it felt like we were stepping into someone's home. The layout, decor, cleanliness, and overall space was very pleasant and welcoming. The employees are all very polite and have great people skills, which is a must for any coffee shop. Our drinks were made in no time and they were simply perfect. The coffee shop has a narrow but similarly comforting seating area out back which is complemented with a nice water fountain and plants. The two of us will definitely be back, and this will likely be our new study spot. read more

Loved the decor, but that was the ONLY thing going for this place and what gave it an extra star! The customer service was so painfully awkward! After the guy in front of me placed his order, I went up to the register and the woman at the register didn't greet me or even acknowledge me. lol I literally just stood there and she didn't even LOOK at me, all while she was soooo busy with bagging a pastry while standing at the register and DIRECTLY in front of me? It felt like I was getting my teeth pulled just trying to order my coffee. But wait--she and the other girl behind the bar did acknowledge the guy who came in after me though and made plenty of conversation with him! :) I ordered a vanilla bean latte, and it tasted like how you would expect. But for 16oz at $7, there are definitely cheaper and better spots for coffee (with much better vibes!) locally. Honestly, I wanted to leave the shop before I even placed my order because of how underwhelming and awkward everything felt. And so by the time I got my coffee and left, I'd decided I was never going to return! Part of going to coffee shops is the experience, and this was just so beyond lackluster. I was disappointed though when it came to my drink choice. It was watered down and didn't taste great. The owner was working behind the counter when I was here and wasn't as friendly as I'd hope for a local neighborhood spot. My friend and I discovered this place bc of TikTok bc it had gone kinda viral in my town BUT once we got there we just felt like the energy in here was so bad and the costumer service from our cashier was really odd. As soon as we walked in she just assumed we were getting their "trendy" drink and we didn't even get a chance to take a look at the menu then we were trying to be nice and you know complement them that they did go viral and a lot of people have been coming in which is amazing for them but we were just ignored. Once the barista called out our drinks she just rolled her eyes at us and walked away. We felt so unwelcome, uncomfortable and so shocked from their nasty attitude and their bad energy. The drink itself was ok we pretty much didn't enjoy it because we didn't have a good experience. It doesn't matter if you were having a rough day or a hard day it doesn't give you the right to be rude to your customers specially if you are the owner of this cafe.
