Let me start off by saying the ambiance at this spot is a 10/10!! They have a book vending machine, a communal free library, board games, and a space to hang out. It's the perfect spot to catch up with a friend or bring your laptop to work. Their menu online doesn't mention matcha but they have some! They happened to have a March Special menu and I decided to try their Lucky Matcha with a marshmallow cream top, oat milk, earl grey syrup, and lucky charms marshmallows on top. My friend got a vanilla bean latte with the marshmallow cold foam and marshmallows as well. The cream doesn't have the consistency I prefer with my matcha, it wasn't as thick or creamy. Not sure if this was intentional or an accident but we noticed that some people after us got their cups with a sticker including their cafe logo on it and they were filming something and we didn't get stickers on our drinks. It was random and not sure if a decorated cup is reserved for those who say they are posting about the store? The drinks themselves are fine but are more for the aesthetic post. They were just an average matcha and latte. Nothing wrong with them at all, just didn't make my list of favorite spots. Points for cuteness that doesn't overdo it. But not so many points for the coffee. I don't know what else to say except something was missing in my latte and I can't quite put my finger on it. I can't say enough good things about this place!This place is super cute and cozy! When you walk inside, the menu on the wall is a little hard to see but they have a hard copy menu on the counter in front of the cashier. They have a small selection of pastries but they all looked so good. It's pretty spacious inside and the tables are not super close together which is really nice! They have a little mini library with books and board games that you can borrow and play. The staff are all so cheerful and welcoming. I ended up getting the iced vanilla bean latte and it was really good! Danish pastries hate to see me coming and this one did not disappoint! It was a strawberry cream cheese danish and I got it warmed up and it was perfect. Can't wait to come back and try more things from them. read more

Sweet little spot on Magnolia in Burbank. Plenty of seats to catch up and take a moment to enjoy your drinks or just people watch! Opened up at 730am - love getting an early start on my day. While we were one of the first customers sitting and enjoying our drinks the place was hopping with steady stream of customers. Their is a wide They don't advertise food, but they had a small selection of pastries. We shared the chocolate crossiant and a spinach pastry - both were yummy, the spinach one was so flavorful and light, that was the big hit! Street parking but on magnolia that is never a problem. Was really excited to try their mango sticky rice matcha, the flavor is there but mango flavor tastes artificial. Matcha itself was okay, and the cold foam was the best part. Looks wise, it looks really good, but think its more picture perfect than taste wise. I would want to come back and try their coffee. read more

I came here because of the great Yelp reviews but I left disappointed. The drinks were fine but nothing memorable and the service wasn't kind or welcoming. Afterward I watched their TikTok videos, which only reinforced that feeling. I wish there were more care and acknowledgment when heavily promoting Southeast Asian flavors like pandan and mango sticky rice. Hearing pandan mispronounced in promotional content and describing the mango sticky rice matcha as something that "came to you in a dream" without any mention of the beloved Southeast Asian dessert that inspired it felt dismissive of the cultures these flavors come from. I have no issue with people drawing inspiration from other cuisines but when those flavors become a big part of your brand, I think it's important to recognize and respect where they come from. read more

We were looking for a new spot to try out and found Three Sisters Coffee. Its clean and has a really trendy vibe. There are books and games for customers. Seemed nice enough when we came in. The cashier seemed to not care. I usually assume someones having a bad day, as that happens to anyone. But she really made it awkward when I was ordering. She asked us if we wanted hot/cold and what size but in a really rude way. And when I asked my wife a question she started making this really annoyed face. She was nice to the other customers so maybe she misheard me? I don't know, I just know she acted like I was wasting her time. The barista was nice though. He seemed cool and pretty good at making our drinks. I had the Vanilla Bean latte hot. It was different and had an interesting flavor to it. Not too sweet either, which I like. I've had this spot saved in my bookmarks for the longest time and it kept popping up on social media since they have a viral mango sticky rice matcha on their seasonal menu. My friend and I decided to treat ourselves to an afternoon pick me up and tried it. There was a long line when we arrived but went by quick. Staff was friendly. The cafe itself is super cute and has a library wall with plenty of seating. We both thought the mango sticky rice matcha was refreshing but was definitely on the sweeter side - borderline too sweet. They unfortunately ran out of coconut the day we went but still had coconut cream but the amount of mango they used overpowered everything for us. I wanted to love this place but after being here a few times, I've never had a good experience. The drinks are ok, nothing you can't get at any of the other 20 coffee shops in Burbank, but the reason I won't come here anymore is the service. The times I've been here, the owner has been the person who's taking orders at the register. Both times I've seen her be very warm and welcoming to the person in front of and behind me (one of which was my friend) and then as soon as I come up to place my order I just get a "what can I get for you" and kind of a whole attitude switch. This happened on my very first visit to this coffee shop so I don't think I did anything wrong? I have worked many customer service jobs so I always approach the counter with a "hi, how are you" and try to have a pleasant demeanor. I try not to let it bother me but it's hard not to notice the immediate switch from the interaction of the person in front of me. Now, I don't need people to be nice to me but I would like the same common courtesy I try to give. This happened on two other occasions and it's clear to me I just don't need to be going here. Maybe if the coffee were exceptional I could get over the service, but that isn't the case. I got an espresso tonic that was just ok. New matcha flavor unlocked! The mango sticky rice matcha with oat milk was so delicious! The coconut cold foam added a nice sweetness to the matcha. The mango was very prominent and you could taste it throughout the drink. This is one of those drinks you get on a special day. I will point out the price is a bit high, as my small with oat milk was $9. Hence why I choose on a treat day. If you want cheaper quality matcha for a daily drink you may want to stop somewhere else. If you do prefer higher quality matcha this is the spot. About that customer's review complaining about 5 dogs (which is not correct)... On the day that the review was complaining about, i was sitting by the door, sipping a Vitalitea w Lemonade (yea do it, simply refreshing). It was a busy day but the regulars and newbies made it work but... Sadly, i'm a petty ol man. but my eyes work so i'm gonna complain about that customer's dog complaint. Being by the door, i thought look at that happy dog by the cashier and that other dog a few feet away :). did i see a customer who was possibly annoyed? yea but i was reading the news about society's issues so that weighed heavier than anything else. Now, there were 2 dogs by the cashier, not 5, and the 2 dogs were not rowdy and last time i checked, we can use our voice to request someone to make some space if we're uncomfortable. There's plenty of parking on Magnolia especially early in the morning and it's not too crowded. I was there at 9:15 in the morning and I was able to park right out front. The negative----- I wanted to try something different. It was very disappointed. It was seven dollars for medium size. That's pretty expensive but I can get past that but the chai itself was not good. I got a chai tea latte hot with soy milk. I saw them pour the chai and the tea I mean the chai and the milk were already being made out of the carton. I don't have a problem with that. They do that at STARBUCKS as well, but this child was not good. It literally was burning my throat and not because of temperature whatever is in their chai is fire on the throat. I wanted to take it back. It's not at all what I wanted and I did not want it to taste like what I've had before, but I didn't want to enjoy it. I cannot enjoy this chai. This is not a good recipe at all and I had to spend seven dollars and I know it's not the temperature. It's the recipe for their chili is made because even after it cooled down the residual that hits my throat burns my throat. I don't know what that is. I thought maybe Ginger . I don't drink coffee, but I will not order a chai tea from there again. I saw them making a lot of beautiful cold drinks that were green and pink and color so even though I may not go there again because I don't drink coffee and I wasn't fond of the chai tea. What a cute spot! I was in the area for an appointment and had sometime before being seen so looked up coffee and came across Three Sisters Coffee and Tea. I was immediately drawn in by the name (I'm one of three sisters ;) The space is large and inviting. There were people working and some chillin'. There are couches and books available for patrons, even for little visitors too which is thoughtful. I ordered a rose and lavender iced drink which was delicious. Very cozy spot that I've been to multiple times because it truly has some of the best matcha in the valley. Walking into Three Sisters I have to say it was very charming and cozy. I felt immediately comfortable and began to pour over the menu. The staff is very welcoming and friendly which always adds to the overall experience. I went with a macchiato for the first time. I truly enjoyed it and paired it with a jalapeño cream cheese stuffed croissant. Even though I am on a low carb eating plan I couldn't resist. It was creamy and had a great texture. Stopped by for a coffee! Found parking on the street nearby, it's never too difficult to find a spot in this area. Inside is a big space, lots of tables and spaces to work at or meet up with someone, and they have a small back patio with a few tables. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming here. I saw that they had a big seasonal fall drink menu, pumpkin flavors included. I asked about the praline latte and the lady said it was her favorite, so I went with that one. I got it iced with almond milk, slightly less sweet. Also got it decaf because it was later in the afternoon; they told me they could make practically any of their drinks decaf which I appreciate! Hmm... I feel a lot of mixed emotions about Three Sisters. I will start by saying I really loved that this feels like a true community-based coffee shop. I came in early on a Sunday morning, and it was packed with people studying and working and connecting with loved ones. I also loved the busy bulletin board and flyers around the shop supporting a multitude of local community ventures and businesses. The baristas were not the friendliest, which is unfortunately all too common these days. I would not say they were rude, but they just lacked warmth and did not provide much customer service. I think the barista who helped us was new. My husband and I ordered two of the seasonal drinks. He got the carrot cake latte and I got the tiramisu latte. The carrot cake did genuinely taste like carrot cake, and it didn't taste artificial, which was nice. However, it definitely was aggressively sweet, and it just tasted like flavored milk. The drink was so light in color, it is hard to believe there was actually espresso in it. Also, when we picked up our drinks from the counter, one of the other baristas quickly asked for my husband's drink back because they forgot the cold foam. In hindsight, looking at the pictures of the drinks on their social media, I think they messed up my tiramisu latte as well. The picture on their social media shows a thick foam with a powder on top, and I did not have any of that. My tiramisu latte just looked like a cup of chocolate milk and tasted like one too. It once again was overly sweet and tasted like it had little to no coffee in it, and there was nothing special about the flavor. It definitely did not emulate tiramisu. My hunch tells me the barista made this drink wrong too. All-in-all the experience was very meh. The lattes we had were unfortunately not good. read more

I come here very often with friends and usually have a fantastic time! I have never returned a drink before, but unfortunately received a bad chai tea latte this morning. I was very embarrassed to go up to the counter and ask for a redo, but did it anyways. They redid it without a hassle and I was very thankful. Me and my friend sat down, and I tried my friend's drink and commented that it wasn't sweet. Which is what she ordered, I didn't say it loud or nasty or anything that would excuse the following. The owner then yelled very loudly (I'm not exaggerating either) from the counter and asked very rudely if I didn't like my drink again, thinking that my friend's drink was mine. The entire coffee shop went silent, and it was very, very awkward. I was humiliated, especially since I was already embarrassed to ask for a redo. I stated that it was my friend's drink, which my friend responded and said that it was fine. She didn't say anything back other than a clipped "okay." I've been in the food service for a long time and have been a manager a few times as well. If I ever suspected that someone did not like what they had received I would come over privately and ask them. I understand that we all have bad days but it was highly unprofessional and embarrassing. Who would want to sit for another hour after you practically got yelled at for not liking a messed up drink. I will keep returning since their drinks are lovely, (especially their strawberry matcha!). The atmosphere is very cozy, and I'm happy to be a regular. "The Grizzly" is amazing, I come here at least 3 to 4 times a week with my partner and we cannot get enough. The coffee is smooth and flavorful every time. Constancy is key and this place hits it every time! Each month they have different cold foams you may add to your coffee and new creative latte flavors as well (always delish). The staff is always cheerful/helpful and always welcoming. The owner is also a badass and we love her and obviously her daughters! If you're ever in Burbank def, swing by and enjoy the coffee. The value of the Too Good To Go bag was great, but I'd go back and grab pastries there regular price any day because there was this like...scone thing in there that was SO GOOD. Every staff member we encountered was generally nice and welcoming. The place is nice and homey, a few sets of tables and some couches.
